Just finished my first season with my athletic SG. Played every game on 12 minute quarters and my player is now a 83 overall. Was drafted by the Jazz and requested a trade to the Celtics after the 5th game. Started off slow losing 3 in a row, but we picked it up big time ending up with the best record in the NBA at 64-18. I won rookie of the month every month, player of the month twice, player of the week 5 times, Rookie of the Year, MVP, and All-NBA 1st team. Averaged 30.5 points, 5.9 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 1.3 blocks, on 57% shooting. Just swept the Bucks in round 1 of the playoffs and am about to play the Pacers in round 2. Magic and Heat are playing against each other as well. In the West it is Thunder vs Lakers and Spurs vs Nuggets. Hoping to play the Thunder in the Finals as my season series against them was awesome with 1 game ending in OT and the other on a buzzer beater .

Ray Allen played off the bench all year. I was hoping they would trade him so he could start somewhere cause I felt bad taking his spot lol.

Cool my friend went to the cletics as a SG too and in the end they traded Jermaine O'Neal and Allen to the Kings for Demarcus Cousins and a pick so now his team is beast

Which PF style is better; athletic or faceup? And what should I do to get a high teammate grade in the Rookie Showcase?

**** this team is so bad we are 3-18 atm
I've played 3 key games and am 2-1 in those games had to get a triple-double in our 2 wins. The one loss we had while i was playing was heartbreaking. I'm in foul trouble through the first 3 quarters only scoring 8 points. I come in the 4th quarter we are down by 10 everyone plays hard and fights back i score our teams last 14 points was on fire. We are up 78-77 with 20 seconds left. Wilson Chandler on their team shoots a 3 with me in his face misses but of course my team doesnt get the rebound and Kenneth Faried gets a put-back with 0.3 seconds left and we lose. wont request a trade though as i feel it wont be realistic to just bounce out

6'4 point guard for Bobcats. We have both Kemba and DJ Augustin still in our lineup, we didn't trade them but both of their overalls have dropped because they aren't getting minutes. Our Starting lineup is

Tyrus Thomas who is a BEAST just got injured for 2-4 weeks 2weeks before the playoffs he was the only guy I could count on. We're 52-18 at the moment I think. Lebron is injured for the heat too lol but he's still playing hurt. Hopefully he recovers quickly and we can get him back for the second round.

Set screens. A LOT of screens. That'll get your teammate grade up high very fast.

Starting a new Athletic PG My Player.. trying to actually get on a team where I can BE a PG.. every time I make a PG he's always moved to SG/SF 99% of his minutes

Awesome forum, thread, and overall website. I have been looking around at this place for a while now and I have just now signed up to get involved. I do not know why it took me so long to register and get involved on the forum.

Anyway, I am starting another My Player tonight as a direct result of my old MP file being corrupted when my xbox froze last night.

I say I want to be an actual PG somewhere..and end up drafted by the Suns.. so still not a PG with Nash and Telfair.. sheesh.. and the team blows 22 at half of opener vs OKC... was down 6 after 1 then I saw 8 minutes and they were down 18.. ..only 2-4 shooting in 9 minutes without being given the ball.. just like all my other PG attempts in My Player

Yeah man, I hate doing a PG then getting drafted to a team that already has a steady PG. Luckily for me, I ended up with Detroit and switched on and off with Brandon Knight and Rodney Stuckey for about 12 games or so before I became a starter, then it was smooth sailing.

We(Kings) are 14-7 and we are in a 3-way tie for 1st place in West. I am 2nd in All-Star votes for PGs. I avg 19.7ppg, 7.4 assists, 4 rebs, and 2.5+ steals(1st). I am under 1000 pts away from 5000 career pts and under 150 rebs from 1000 rebs.

When I signed here I knew our lack of bench big men was a problem. We was already playing without Thompson and when I was simming Cousins got injured for 6-8 weeks. So, now we have no PFs or Centers playing. We only have 2 players over 6'6(tallest is 6'9). And we have Thorton(6'4) starting at Center. We HAVE to make a trade for some big men. Outlaw wants out and I have NO problem with it. I dont care if it is just for a scrub big men.Thompson is about 2-4 days away from coming back, but Cousins was a HUGE part of the game for me. I would call at least 5-10 post up plays for him. I have 7 key games in the next 3 weeks. After that, I am good. Most of our key games were in the beginning our of the game.

After have 10+K saved up and getting my 500 career steal, I was able to get Sizeup to Good. And after have 4 drills, I was able to get it to Great. It should help me get separation. I got Shot Close to 70. I will get that and Shot Inside to 90 and stop. The next Abilities I will work on is Stepback and Crossover to Great. I will work on that when I get close to a big milestone. I just bought Magic Johnson's layup.

I'm quickly remembering why I quit playing this game after 40 games into a season.. unless you play supremely easy, I can't get assists as a guard because someone bobbles a pass or decides to dribble first.. my shooting percentage as an athletic PG is 28%.. he can't make a layup even though it's at like 80 skill points.. didn't have any problem with a SF/PF

The part about sitting for a few minutes and going down by 15 points is still one of the worst parts of the game to me.. as is 'My Player' always acting drunk and running out of bounds on his own or getting picked boxed out at the 3 point line. Oh yeah..and 'leaving assignment'.. I guard the point guard, knock the ball into the backcourt but don't get it.. then lose an entire grade for leaving the PF????? wtf!

Obviously I needed to get frustrated at a stupid game so I started playing this again.. shoot 2 of 12 with 9 of those missed layups??? that's not even possible

Going to make a new brandon Roy type player but PG so with 3pt specialist I can get Roy's great 3pt shooting, I get average step back which Roy was great at(will raise to great) and I get a pro guard layup package.
Any suggestions for height and weight?

How is that unrealistic? roy's not that big.

Use whatever you want in my opinion.

Lebron James is practically a point guard when he wants to be. Hell back in the day KG..would run point sometimes.
