I don't think you can. 2K claimed that u can do this (in "my trade", if u r a star and been with team for so long, there will be an option to ask your GM to trade for player. That's what I read about. Someone claimed that u will be asked at the end or the beginning of the season)

I think it is the option that 2K forget to put on the game or they put it but it doesn't work for some reasons.

I play 8+ seasons in my MP. I won almost every awards every year and I've been with TWolves for 4+ years but I still can't get the option to ask my GM to fix my unbalance roster. (My team start generated C rate 68 over Kevin Love who can play C)

There are several threads regarding this issue. Seems like no one can't get this option at all. 2k said that this option is in the game but absolutely no one can find this option.

I second this. I've played all of my first four seasons with the Dallas Mavericks and I am the reigning MVP. I have yet to see anything about requesting players to be traded to our team, or to be picked up during free agency. It sucks too, because, as a pass first point guard, I hate having to be the team's leading scorer....

6-7 193lbs PG, who is truly a freak of nature. Drafted late by ORL due to concerns he won't translate good into the NBA. So far he is learning who to be a passing point and the 2nd scoring option behind Dwight. He gets by off raw talent but he is learning. He mainly plays point or SG or rarely SF. He present a problems at all position as he is too big and posts up PG, he is too fast and agile for most SG or SF.

He's a bit thin so he might be prone to injury down the stretch.

I wish I could play with Dwight as a rookie how did you fall in the draft?

So I have a teammate whom I hate the most. He is a generated player named Loren Ellis. A 6'10 69 rated 2nd year Center who is forced to start because we have no other option at the position. He is the worst. I run the pick and roll with him and most of the time, he rolls to the basket really well. However, when I get him the ball, instead of taking the open layup, he passes it back to me! It's frustrating because sometimes, it's late in the shot clock and causes me to have a turnover. Ugh......

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread

I continued with my PF tonight. I had a close win against the Pacers. I had 36pts, 13 rebs, 4 steals and 2 Blocks.
I am 2nd ppg(25.2) and blocks(1.8), 9th in Reb(10.4), 1.2 steals, 1st in FG(56.7) by a mile, 88.7 FT%. I am 2nd in MVP and DPOY. I should be able to get MVP due to stats and we will have a very good record. I hope to pass Howard for DPOY. It will be good to go be a All-Star, DPOY, MVP, and Champion all in the same year. I should be able to get the Finish in top 10 for Scoring, Rebs, and BLocks this season. Only concern is rebs because I am playing with Greg Monroe.

Being in my 5th year and being rated 99(best in league), I dont have many ratings I didnt max. I got FT and Hands to 93. Should help me get more rebs. I will max both of them. Besides 3pt, I dont have a rating I need to boost. At 80 Dunk I could boost it more, but it wont make a big difference. Could boost Shot Inside and Close(both at 90), but with maxed Shot in Traffic it wont make a difference. I may start boosting Layup though since I havent touched it. After that or even before it, I want to start boost 3pt. It will add a another aspect to my offensive game

Playing on my second PG for the Milwaukee Bucks. Currently sitting at 3-4 after a thumping at home against the Phoenix Suns. The game got out of hand early on. We ended up losing 107-86.

Brandon Jennings has my vote for LVP (Least Valuable Player) of the game. He finished the game with 5 points (2-12 from the field) and 5 assists in 33 minutes. I had 8 points (80% from the field) and 4 assists in 25 minutes off the bench.

Steve Nash was unguardable. He ended the game with 30 pts, 8 asts. Drew Gooden led the Bucks with 23/10.

Our next game is on the road at Minnesota (3-2, 2-2 home).

I had my Best game of my career against my former team Wizards in a big blowout win with my PG. I had 60pts(alot of pts off turnovers and FTs), 17 assists, and 13 steals. We had a 40pt lead for most of the game and was able to beat them by that. I got 7000 XP for that game.

I maxed Off/Def Awar and got Shot Med to 70(after a set of drills). It got my Ovr to 87. Which is in my target range(87-90) for the offseason. After my next key game, I will have another set of drills. Which should get me over 80 Shot Med. After I max Shot Med, I will boost Consistency to around 90. Which should get me over 90.

I am a week away from all-star game. The all-star vote list is not up, but the all-stars havent been announced. I think it will be announced after my game is up. I should be in the game. I should be the 3rd PG for the West.

Is it just me or do All-Star players go off on your teammates too? Dirk went off on KG for 54 points on 42 shots and them Durant puts up 48 on Pierce.

This game is getting really frustrating. It seems like the opposing team always rubberbands to make sure you're never ahead by more than 6 or 7 points, and your teammates downright suck, missing open layups and three pointers. Even All-Stars play terribly. I got traded to the #1 seeded team, and we can't beat really low-ranked teams. I don't think I've ever seen a normal NBA victory (not a blowout, but a normal 10-15 point win). Every game you play is either a loss, or a 1-2 point win. It seems incredibly unfair.

It can be a really frustrating mode. But it's basically the only mode I've been playing since I bought the game. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to punch a hole through my TV because my teammates did something boneheaded or because they can't play defense worth a lick, and because I have to be the catalyst for the team, even as I come on just as a rookie. I've had a lot of ups and downs with this mode.

I haven't however, had what you are experiencing with the loss, or 1-2 point win. I've had just about every game imaginable. I've blown some teams out by nearly 40 points, I've lost by 40. I've had some games come down to the wire that I've both lost and won. I've also had some just plain ol' solid NBA games where I win by 8-15 points and have been in control throughout the entire game. Also had games where I've been down by as many as 15 and put the team on my back and fought back for a victory.

I've played on only Pro-Sim and AllStar-Sim though. I'm torn between the 2. I see things that I like on Pro, and have easily played over 300 games on that setting. But I have recently taken the plunge to AllStar in my new My Player and something about this setting just 'feels' right. I can't put my finger on it but it feels like I get rewarded for playing true basketball, whereas on Pro, I can go about playing the game more freely, like a video game, rather than if I was hooping in real life.

EDIT: All games I play are 12 minute quarters. On both difficulty settings.

Well I'm playing with my rookie SG on the Celtics on Pro as I'm not that great yet but I am averaging 29.4 points a game on 57% shooting, 4.1 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.3 blocks and am in the running for MVP and just played the All-Star as the backup to D Wade. My team is 44-13 and in 1st place. We've had a few blowouts as well as normal scores as you mentioned. However I do play 12 minute quarters.

This is the roster I used, or am using I should say, with my new My Player, playing on AllStar-Sim. It has made a fairly significant difference I feel like. I still have some of the issues I saw with my most played My Player, but they're less frequent.

I think I used the Community Roster from like, January or something for that one. And played on Pro-Sim.
