I pretty much feel the same about simulation as most of you guys. I WOULD like to play the majority of my first year though.

As far as trades in myplayer... horrible, at least with my experience. I'm a PG.. Drafted by GS then eventually got traded over to NY with Curry for Melo and Tony Douglas (was content with that).

THEN while I was in NY, Chauncey and Landry was traded for Tony Parker and James Anderson.

THEN Amare and Derrick brown was traded for Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom...completely ruined the "Knicks" smh

Now I'm in ATL (traded for Joe Johnson straight up), now Josh Smith and Jamal Crawford is gone. This is type ridiculous IMO

EDIT: FYI I'm about 40 games into the 1st season

After my first year, the Bucks ended up with the #3 overall pick and drafted a PF (my position), so I decided to demand a trade and requested to be traded to Phoenix, Washington, or Detroit (teams where I could be the go-to scorer and try to bring them back to prominence).

I ended up getting traded to Washington along with my boy Brandon Jennings for John Wall and Kevin Seraphin.

Well, playing for the crappy Piss-ons, I mean, Pistons, the only team we have a better record than is the Cavs (Kyrie Irving is running away with the ROY). One game against the Pacers, I drive, get fouled hard by PAul George and is hurt. Missed some time, a long break between Key Games (2 months long) and I return and notice that they traded for the guy who just injured me. You go and get the exact player who tried to take out "The Future" of your organization? On top of that you go out and get two PGs (Jrue Holiday as the starter and Mo Williams as the backup) and play me at mostly SG? A 6'1" Shooting Guard? Thanks for letting me know that I need to be on another team. Bad enough we are losing but you are screwing me over on top of that. If CP3 leaves in the offseason than I'm going to my home team Hornets. If not, I'm going to any team that is willing to trade for me. The Pistons suck!

A 6'1" Shooting Guard?

You think that's bad? My team (the Pacers) traded for Earl Boykins and play him at SG most of the time. Yup, D.C. at PG and Earl Boykins at SG. Talk about seriously bad mismatches happening every game. Ugh! Every time I see him come on as SG, I want to drop kick him out of the arena (my C is 7'2")

I probably have about 25 my players. No I didnt play them all. Some went to teams in the interview I didnt think would be a good fit for my player and other times I would sway back and forth between PG, SG, SF and Center. I have finally netted out on my 7-0, 248lb back to the basket center. I had to practice how to play post up and learn how to get down low but avoid picking up the 3-second call but now I feel like I have the hang of the position for the most part, and with that said I don't think I could ever go back to playing any other position. Sure I could have a 3pt Specialist guard or SF and just make it "splash" but after a while I think I'd get bored. The center position for me personally is the only position where I feel really versatile. Score, rebound, and throw your weak shots into the stands. Maybe it's just me and missing the days where several centers in the league at the same time were the focal point of the team. To me right now, Howard is the only real super star Center in the league so I'm on my way to join him.

I just really like playing the position now. For me there is a much more sense of accomplishment at the end of the game when I have 15 points, 9 boards, 3 blocks and the occasiaion 2-3 assists because I passed out of the double team. I think my days of running up and down the court with a guard and taking 90% of the shots, with 70% of them being 3's or dunk attempts are over. Dwight Howard, watch out....

...okay so I actaully just finished a game against Orlando. Howard made me his bitch, BUT he had a hard time defending me as well. If he got the ball in the low post, he would destroy me, but I held him to 14 points because I kept him from actually getting the ball. Things look good so far, I like playing in Philly, lets just hope the imminent trades coming later aren't TOO stupid lol PS, if you have a decent gaming PC rig (I have a 27inch display too) I highly reccomend 2k12 over the consoles (i have the console version too). Visually it blows them out of the water and the mods...oooooh... so sweet.

I also think the trade logic is ridiculous. I got drafted by the Sixers and before the trade deadline all of the team was gone. Iggy is in Atlanta, Elton Brand and Evan Turner are in Orlando and the others ate gone also. That leaves us with a starting lineup of:

- Gilbert Arenas
- Jamal Crawford
- Nicolas Batum
- Josh Smith
- me (an athletic C)

Honorable to mention, Jordan Crawford and Krise Humphries of the bench. I believe the team could be great, if Arenas wasn't running the show. The play of the team improves a lot when, I forgot him, Ray Felton is on the court. Arenas is just a ball hog and chucking up bad three after bad three.

Also the opposing AI is unbelievable. So many made threes. And I hate it on rebounds, after blocking out my man, jumping quite timely for the ball, that my player just tips it up in the air and someone else is grabbing the orange. Any Tipps on this? Would hands improve this?

Damn, he's like..... a midget or something. I wish I could play your team, I'd eat him alive.... and we'd still lose, like always.

It's official, I'm getting out of D town. For the fifth time this year I've single handedly given us a lead in the third, the quarter that I play the entire length of, and have watched it go down the drain while I sit on the bench for the entire fourth.

But I've given my middle finger to the organization by shooting every time I touched the ball in our last game. Broke the team scoring record and the three point record so my name will be etched into Piston lore before I tell them to kiss my ***.

The one thing I wish they had on here is the ability to call out your teammates and/or your coach in the post game interviews. I want to chew them out so bad but I can't. I can be unpredictable but I can't be a locker room destroyer? Boo.

Honestly, not much issues with the trade logic so far. The only stars that have been traded were Josh Smith (who had been rumored to be traded in real life anyway), Steve Nash (who would make sense to trade from a video game aspect), Kevin Love (no idea when this happened, but it was Love for Jeff Green and Avery Bradley, who both have high potential in this game I believe), and Myself and Brandon Jennings being traded to Washington for John Wall and Kevin Seraphin after I demanded a trade and asked to go to Washington.

What's the highest someone has gone in the draft? I've seen a lot of 6's.

I've only player the showcase twice. Once with the guy I use (went 16th - something like 11/4/3 and a b-) and another time I ****ed around in the game and went 9th (30/1/0 6 steals and a A-). All I was doing was walking down the court and shooting a 3. Then reaching on defense, lol... Played like 4 minutes total in the first 3 quarters because of foul trouble.

I'm sure someone has dropped 80+ or whatever. Since some actually play like that Draft position?



I'm playing all the games now. Once I get into my second season and have my main attributes near where I want them, then I'll probably key game mostly, so I can finish the career.

I always wondered, how many games are the key games only guys playing a season? Because I'm almost in February of my first season and I swear I only played 4 or 5 games key games. If it's like 10-12 a season, how are you developing your player? When I play a great game in a key game, I get 5k+ points. I'll be generous and say 6k*12, that's only 72,000. Not much to work with. Especially if you buy abilities.

Pretty much key gamed the world out of my first season.. just because it was my rookie season and I was ready to get into the meat of my career. Been playing most of my second season already and I'm pushing towards 72 overall rating.
