So my Myplayer is officially over. Keeps freezing after the finals win or lose.

I had the same problem, the trick is to turn autosave off. I got frozen five damn times against the Heat in the finals. I turned autosave off and beat them in six (Z-Bo was the MVP, he destroyed Bosh Spice in the post) and it worked. Kinda depressing press conference after though, not what I wanted. Thought I'd see a full on interview kind of like after the rookie showcase but whatever.

Well my Suns have lost 9 straight now each one we have had a pretty big lead in the fourth besides one game against the heat where we were getting blown out by 40 at half time (yeah..).

Has anyone noticed that in MyPlayer that the CPU just hits some crazy shots in the fourth? They just can't be stopped. In this stretch we have lost to 4 buzzer beaters, and also given up 10+ point leads in the fourth. I don't know if it's just that my team is crappy (they are), or if the game is "cheating" me. I know I can hit shot after shot in the first three quarters but in the fourth I just can't do anything. My three point shooting is at 99, and my Mid Range is at 90. Offensive Clutch is at 95. I feel like I shouldn't rim-out time after time when I am getting A shot selections with good releases.

Just some frustrations. I have already requested to be traded from the Suns. I hate this team since the CPU has traded everyone for guards. I played every game for my first ten games and the CPU still traded away most of the team so the theory that if you play all the games that they don't trade away most of the players on your team doesn't hold true. Atleast for me.

Exactly man. My last game I had against the lakers Shannon Brown was doing whatever he wanted against my defense while I was guarding Lamar Odom. The CPU switched me to guard Brown who I shut down and then Lamar Odom was hitting fadeaway after fadeaway after that. I really wish that we could change the sliders in MyPlayer since I feel like that would solve some of the problems.

Enough whining from me though. I still love the mode.

just noticed a patch is out, any idea on if it fixes anything in My Player? Like the fact that I can't do the Knockout drill anymore.

I got drafted by the Bobcats with my PG after getting 26 points and 6 assists in the Rookie Showcase. I thought it was going to be good for me because of Tyrus Thomas so I could get some nice assists, but the coach only play me as SG. I can't even play as SG, my shooting skills are low and that's why I only played 7 mins in my first NBA game, playing like 2 minutes as PG and scored 2 points and 2 assists, nothing more.
I think I'm going to ask a trade after 5 games or then create a Center lol

Im in the same boat, the Suns team I am on is just the Suns by name, everyone has been traded and those folks have been traded.

Im rimming out ALOT of shots that I shouldnt be and the CPU is making shots it shouldnt be. Played the Lakers yesterday and they were shooting 70% as a team....

The last two years the mode has had issues but this year I am just starting to despise the mode and might put it on the shelf till a patch hits.

For anyone that has played a decent amount of the first season, do any of the rookies that are drafted actually play? I've only played two games so far, but I went to "rookie report" to check to see how the other rookies are doing and the only three rookies are me, Rubio, and some 26 year old guy.

I don't know, but if this #22 dude ever played, he'd be the best player in the NBA. Can hit the 3 and post up like a beast.

I get the feeling all these made up rookies are stand ins for real players. Like this #22 guy is supposed to be Derrick Williams.

Wow.... guess my save file is corrupted... it just simmed my ENTIRE second year up until the playoffs. Looks like I have to start another one.

Wow, I just started the first playoff game in this corrupted save file, I'm the lead on the team, finally on the highlight package when the game starts (Me against Kobe) and I see the team.... horrible. It went from Me, OJ Mayo, Shane Battier, Zack Randolph and Jeff Foster to Me, Ray Allen, Corey Maggette, Glen Davis and Andrea Bargnani... they got rid of Z-Bo. oh well, I have to start another one any damn way. Sucks cause I liked the build of this player. It's okay, we can rebuild him...

In season 2 by playing only key games. Suns had maybe 12 or 14 key games outside of the playoffs, plus four or five in the playoffs.

The combine question I don't know how others are doing it but I made a SG 3 point specialist just to see if I can get drafted number 1 if I did nothing but hoist threes. I had 57 in the third but they sat me the entire fourth quarter. Got drafted 6th.

Why sim games? I see it as a loss of oppertunity for points to spend on your guy.

I didn't choose to sim them, the game automatically did. The file must be messed up. And I'm not worried about points to spend because I want to get to the Hall of Fame so I have about 12 years to boost stats. The game just automatically simmed it after I played a game. Looked at stats, it said I played in 89 games. I got all of the skill points like I played the entire year as well, was able to boost my overall over 80.
