umm yes all the play settings can be changed in the my player menus or even during the game in my player. must be because your on the Wii, on 360 you can change everything

Yea, has to be a Wii thing. There is only one option menu for me in MP, and that has to do with shot-stick timing, feet, inches, shot camera, etc.

In-game my only options are to save & quit, sim till end, or quit.

Takes me back to my rant about how in the world the Wii version was almost 20 dollars more and has 75% less content -_-

umm congratulations i guess....

im just really bad at PG. i turn it over atleast 4 times a game because i try to force passes too much. i really only pass also, i shoot like 8 times a game, and im really bad at rebounding with guards. and im not the best on D. so pretty much when i play PG my only teamate grade comes from assists and good passes.

Try playing within yourself on offense. Depending on how long you play games, in terms of quarter length, you have plenty of time to build your teammate grade. Unless your a pas-first PG, you wont be very good at it until you raise the rating, so just make passes you know you can make. Try as few alley-oops as possible, and resist trying to lead pass unless there's a clear lane.

It's pretty easy to rebound w/ guards once you get the hang of it; just run to the hole every time they shoot, and you should pick up at least 3 rebounds a game.

On defense, make sure you stay in front of your guy when he doesn't have the ball. The great thing about playing PG is that most PGs in the league aren't the team's primary scorers, but even if they score, it's worse if you just give up easy baskets by sagging off. As long as you play good defense, you'll still be rewarded eventually, even if the guy has better offense.

Just pick your spots on offense and defense, and stay composed and in front of your man. It's easy to feel like you have to force things since your handling the ball, but as long as you play within yourself, and do little things like setting random picks as much as possible, you'll raise your grade.

Created my SG. Went to the Bobcats 9th overall. First game of the season I put in 21 points and grabbed 3 boards.

I love how the rules don't apply to the computer, I stand in the paint on offense for three second - FOUL. AI stands in the paint for 3...6...9 seconds - NO FOUL. Love how stupid some parts of this game are.

90% of my turnovers come from 3 second violations -_-

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the true 3 second rule only valid if your feet aren't moving and/or are not trying to leave the lane?

The lane animations make it almost impossible to get out when the CPU centers and forwards are putting football blocks on me.

I swear KG turns into Reggie White reincarnated when he's guarding me in the paint.

On that note, just tied my career board numbers against KG and Boston, and got 7k SP which is mega for the Wii version. Time to up my strength <.<

well because the Wii really cannot handle much content. that is why it has ps2 level graphics. it cannot handle as many features as 360, ps3, and pc can.

the thing about this though, is that even though most PGs(besides Rose and Russ) are pass first in real life, 2k decides to make every PG look to score. i mean i play against Nash, cp3, Deron, Rondo, and all of them shoot the ball 20-30 times a game and only get like 5 assists because 2k really doesnt program the pass first PGs correctly.

I beg to differ. I agree with the graphics issue, but as far as content capabilites, I point you to Skyward Sword. And all my Maddens compare content wise as well, but again, fail in the gfx department.

I've decided to bundle the Wii and about 30 games on Ebay and just go get a ps3. Looking to get the PC version of nba2k12 as well.

Just answered a question I was going to ask. My rookie season is almost over, we go into the playoffs 2nd seed. But what I was going to ask is, is there at least 1 PassFirst Pg somewhere on a team that needs a scoring center? Holiday is garbage, and like you said, every other PG i've played against has passaphobia.

oh well i really do not know much about the wii. i have one but i only brush the dust off and play it maybe 10 times a year when my girlfriend wants to play or we have family and my little nieces and nephews want to play it. and even then i only own mario kart, wii sports, wii play, and a few other games which i dont even know what they are. but yeah, good call trading it in for a ps3. actually i recommend a 360 over ps3, but its your call, both are great

just off the top of my head the Rockets. Yao left that void at center when he retired and had a bunch of injuries. they have a good supporting cast with Kevin Martin at SG and Scola at PF. and Lowry is a great passer in real life. but again idk about in game.

also the Warriors could really use a center. they have great gaurds but they have no size what so ever. they really could use a good big man.

also the mavs and celtics could use centers.

I have all the CoD's, Black Ops, Madden 10-11, cpl Tiger Woods...plus all the chintzy wii sports, resort, etc. Then I'm a retro Nintendo freak so there's almost half the collection of Nintendo games on the SD card.

But ever since I picked this game up and put it in, I haven't taken it out <.<

PS3 over 360 any day in my opinion. Why pay for online entertainment? + I'm anti-Microsoft unless it runs my OS >.>

I thought about the warriors, but they have McGee, and he avg's almost 15pts a game on my Association sims. Though McGee and some prospects might entice the Sixers to trade me. Have to see when the season ends who wants me.

Made a center, got drafted 17th by the Knicks. I was happy at first then realised they have Tyson Chandler now. I'm thinking I'll hang around for a while before asking for a trade elsewhere maybe Blazers or Wolves.
