a little bit of both. I already won 3 championships with chicago one of them I was nba finals mvp. But after the 3rd in the offseason they only wanted to pay me 1.25 mill for one year!!! So i left and went to the clippers for 13.45 for 4 yrs.

smh. i can say im not bad at this game at all but in MY Player this year has been a struggle til recently.Created a All around PF,6'10, and was drafted to the Suns.Long story short....we sucked badly.

Since i picked "All around", i wasnt great a one thing therefore i pretty much sucked.This combined with the Suns lack of an offensive identity(we run the same 7 plays all day...only 3 of them really worked) made my rookie season a frustrating one.I ended the season avg 13 ppg, and 7 rebs(cause im too busy guarding all of these wanna be SG PFs) and we ended the season with an 32-50 record.Offseason comes and we make no moves besides signing danthey freakin Jones, let Shannon brown leaves, and Grant Hill retires.All of this plus Nash is a year older (now a 79 Ovr).At this point i knew i had to step up or just ask for an trade cause the team was gonna need me to produce.

And the crazy part was that the game knew that too.Rarely in my rookie year was my number called to make a play but now through the first 6 games, i get the ball nearly every possession.First game i drop 22 and 10 against the Blazers and felt good about my play for the 1st time in awhile(last season couldnt end quickly enough).Next game against the clips, i got 19 and 12 in a losing effort (btw they dont have Paul or Jordan anymore but they are undefeated through 6)

Anyways im starting to get into my groove (Kerr:"Hey I like groove") but it took me into my 2nd season to do anything to the level of consistency im doing things now.My question is what lvl are you guys playing on?Im doing Superstar Sim and no way in hell could i have been winning MVPs like everyone else been doing on here.

Just moved up to All-Star and Sim setting and we are CRUSHING Houston. I can't get any boards but we are up 58 to 22. I have 13 points(4-4, 5-5 FT's), 3 assists, 2 Steals with my Center.

Should get the Starting role on the Warriors after this game or the next.

EDIT: Up 102 - 67 after three quarters and stomping all over the Rockets. 32 points, have made 10 of 13 free throws and still only have 2 rebounds.

Lol, I just gave up THREE straight alley-oops to Scola. They are just making fun of my defense now.

I am trying to decide between 3 Jumper Releases. I am 2 paychecks(500K) away from obtaining it for my SG. I am trying to decide between Nash, Stockton, and Westbrook. I am Leaning towards Nash. I have the base I like, but I like his release. But, I am torn between his and Stockton. I dont want to buy it and dont like it. I might go in practice mode and try it out

Finally actually starting to enjoy my player. requested a trade to the Lakers(played for Trailblazers), they traded me and Aldridge to L.A. for Gasol. Great trade for us. So far 2-2 but im enjoying playing with this roster. Got ton more minutes right away. Working on cracking into the starting lineup, right now we are 8th in the west with a 8-6 record. Gonna play my entire rookie season, then once I get to year 2 im just gonna play key games. So once Kobe retires the core 3 will be me, Aldridge, and Bynum, of course if some other team can convince me to sign in free agency at some point. I am from NY so playing at MSG wouldnt be bad, coming home to bring a title to NYC would be cool but I will see what happens, never played more than 1 season in my player so the trick is to make it that far.

If your big man (me, at 7'5") was putting up 30 pts a game, would you not pass him the ball every time he posted up? I stand wide open in the lane with enough time to roll a joint and get the munchies, and still don't get passed to. I don't use 'call for pass' because the fools wait until I'm guarded to pass it.

But like I said, last I played BBall games was nba '95, so maybe I'm just not used to it ;(

uhh how are you that tall?

The tallest I could make myself was 7'2 at the CAP creation screen

I feel kind of cheesy posting up as a center because you can basically score at will. Back down until close to basket, pump fake then go the other way for an easy bucket.

The post moves never works for me if I don't pump fake though.

Good to know.
I never pump fake. I dont know why. I try to get the shot off as quick as possible. Since my PF's main source of scoring come from the post, I will definitely try that.

Yeah, my guy can not shoot to save his life so all I can do is post up to get my points. I am not saying I shoot 100% but doing it this way I can get 60% to 75% most games.

I got my PF and PG Shot med to 90(using shooting drill) and I still cant make shots. I have high consistency and Shoot in Traffic, but cant shoot to save my life. I dont take bad shots either. If I was to shoot nothing but jump shots, I would shoot under 40%. So, I try go to post.

I also draw a TON of fouls lately with my center in the post. Last game went to the line 16 times and in my current game against the Mavs I have been fouled twice in four minutes.

But be careful with the Post, you might feel dirty with how easy it is score, lol.

Hello all! I really need some help from you guys. I am doing a My Player with Jrue Holiday and I have gotten his overall rating to an 87. Prior to the all-star break, I was leading the league in assists and was third in points and I was receiving around 36 minutes per game. I then played in the all-star game and after that, my minutes were reduced to about 12 per game and I am 8th in the rotation. I would like to get my player back to the starting position with the same amount of minutes. Has anyone had this problem or could you be of any assistance? Thank you

ugghhhh thats a horrible trade for Portland. Aldridge for Gasol? the Blazers get screwed on that lol.
