fantasy draft -Atlanta Hawks-29 game season.

currently 4-14. 6 games out of the 8th spot. funny thing is the announcers saying that I should blow up my team, cause this season has been a disappointment. I have a good squad on paper, but that's it .

    pg-collison
    sg Ray Allen
    sf-Kevin Durant
pf-Serge Ibaka- out for the season
    c-Dalembert

    bench
    -Bibby
    -Rush
    -Udoka
-Wilcox- starting in place of Ibaka
    -Dampier

    -Stokavic.

Im 8 million under the cap. with half the squad aboutto be free agents at the end of the season.
I only resigned RAy Allen for 3 extra years.

free agents at the end of the year are- Collison, Rush, Dalembert, Dampier, Wilcox, Udoka, Stokavic

Im eying Dwight Howard, and Derek Rose in the off season. ill fill out the roster with rookies and 3rd/4th tier level players.

my potential line up will be

    -Derek Rose
    -Ray Allen
    -Kevin Durant
    -Serge Ibaka
    -Dwight Howard.

if thats the case then look out.
I keep extensive records and I haven't won a championship in 2k NBA basket ball since NBA 2k03. in the virtual realm thats 20 seasons.

I wish that I was as optimistic as you. I started an Online Association because I don't forsee any end to the lockout for a couple of months.

Well.. the owners have lost millions of dollars from the preseason, so I think they won't want to lose more money to keep the lockout going to get the deal they want. If they cancel the regular season(which is highly unlikely) they will lose billions maybe trillions of dollars. So I think they will just accept a deal soon. I prob. will start my season when I make my decision because I don't want to wait forever if the lockout keeps going. I've cut it down to 2 teams the Knicks and the trail Blazers

          ........ no.....

I think It'll end in a month, I still can't tell which side will fold though :/

          WEEK 3 UPDATE
Still not sure if I should do giant posts like this on this topic, or if anyone even wants to read giant posts like this, but oh well.

          GAME 8
I accidentally posted last time, though it was part of week 3 >___>

          GAME 9
Jazz against the up and coming Clippers, though Clippers led the whole game, a 4 quarter charge by the Jazz leading them to a 101-98 win. Jazz also are on a 3 game win streak.

Paul Millsap had 24 points and 13 rebounds for the game, Devin Harris and Stephen Jackson also produced, each almost getting a double-double of points and assists. Derrick Favors had no points this game, and really didn't look like he was in it at all with no shot attempts and 2 turnovers.

Eric Gordon produced 33 points for his team, but this one-sided performance wasn't enough. Blake Griffin and Al-Farouq Aminu scored 11 and 10 points, respectively. Jamario Moon didn't produce whatsoever for the Clippers, it really was just one player producing for the Clippers this game.

          BAD NEWS
Danilo Gallinari strained his achilles, and will be gone for a week or two.

          GOOD NEWS
Antoine Wright is back in the line-up and has healed from his sprained wrist.

          GAME 10
Several season records were set in this game to be sure, I really don't want to go into it more than that, and the stats for the game were just disheartening. Jazz fouled 33 times and Devin Harris, Stephen Jackson, and Al Jefferson all got very little time on the court, and in the end, Harris, Jackson, Jefferson, and Dudley fouled out. Millsap also had 4 fouls for the night. Just a disheartening loss after a three game win streak.

Paul Millsap led the team with 30, Jared Dudley had 26, and Antoine Wright had 9 while stepping up for Stephen Jackson. Other than that, basically no one produced.

The Thunder steamrolled with MVP worthy performances from Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Serge Ibaka, but that's as much as I wanna go into the stats of this abysmal 25 point loss.

          Jazz are so far 6-4

don't go with the default rosters, grab an os-customized one where the roster makers pour hours upon hours of work on it

                and have fun

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread

Finally decided to run with the T-Wolves. I'm doing a 58 game association. Currently sitting at 2-0 after beating the Knicks and the Nuggets. Before the 1st game of the year i was offered Greg Oden and Luke Ridnuor in exchange for Michael Beasley and Luke Ridnuor. Needing a legit center and having Derrick Williams and Rick Rubio to replace Beasley and Ridnuor i agreed to the deal. I also sogned Antonio Daniels to backup Rubio. After the 2nd game i pulled off a 4 player trade with the Raptors. I sent Wesley Johnson and Anthony Randolph to Toronto for DeMar DeRozan. here's how my roster is looking

                  Starting 5
                  C-Greg Oden
                  PF-Kevin Love
                  SF-Derrick Williams
                  SG-DeMar DeRozan
                  PG-Ricky Rubio

                  Bench
                  C-Darko Milicic
                  PF-Ed Davis, Anthony Tolliver(IR)
                  SF-Martell Webster, Lazar Hayward
                  SG-Elliot Williams, Wayne Ellington
                  PG-Antonio Daniels

                  D-League
                  Malcom Lee
                  Nikola Pekovic

Next game is against the Pacers

Just got the game and after a couple quick games, I want to start an association(its really the mode I buy it for..), I downloaded one of the OS-user rosters, Bedwardsroy19's...they look pretty good I think.

Im not sure what team I want to start with, I think maybe the Trailblazers and implementing a completely new style..and up-tempo pace, want to see if I can run a Calipari-like offense in this game..should be fun

                              WEEK 4 UPDATE

                              GAME 11
The Jazz showed that while they may be doing okay in this season, they still have work to do if they want to have a successful post-season. The Jazz played against the Bulls, and the Bulls led the whole game, which led to a sturdy 104-90 win by the Bulls

Carlos BOOZer had an amazing 33 point 11 rebound game. Derrick Rose had a double with 24 points and 10 assists. C.J. Watson also played well and he scored 12 points in 13 minutes of play. Keith Bogans wasn't there for the game, and he had no points and only one attempt. He also had 1 assist and 1 rebound, even though he played for 28 minutes.

Al Jefferson had 18 points and 15 rebounds in the game, playing solid on both ends. Stephen Jackson and Devin Harris also contributed, both stacking up their statsheets. George Hill had an off game tonight though, with no points out of 3 shot attempts.

                              GAME 12
The Jazz haven't had a good week this week, the Kings were the next on their schedule. The Kings had a commanding 33-22 1st quarter, and set the tone for the entire game. This gave the Jazz a 13 point loss, with the Kings winning 98-85

Tyreke Evans led his team with 23 points with 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Francisco also contributed to the Kings victory, scoring 15 points. Cousins also contributed with a double-double. Samuel Dalembert didn't really play this game. having 2 points and 1 rebound in the entire game.

Stephen Jackson played great, scoring 30 points and having 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Al Jefferson had 3 blocks and a phenomenal double-double of 15 points and 17 rebounds. Devin Harris also had 15 points, with 7 assists. The main reason of why the Jazz lost this game would have to be Paul Millsap, who was in foul trouble for most of the game, and only scored 5 points with 3 rebounds. Millsap has been a great presence for the Jazz, so the lack of him on the floor certainly affected this game.

                              GAME 13
The Jazz continue to struggle through the week, with their third straight loss. The Portland Trailblazers really showed them up during the game. Portland won with a commanding 119-89 slaughter.

Raymond Felton had 28 points and 8 assists in the game, and was a focal point for the team. Brandon Roy had 21 points, and Wesley Matthews added on another 20 points for the Trail Blazers. Lamarcus Aldridge certainly didn't have a bad game, but it was a disappointing game. He had 9 points and 4 rebounds, and made 2 of his 8 shot attempts.

Devin Harris had 21 points and 3 steals this game, and held his team up with Stephen Jackson, who had 18 points, and Al Jefferson, who had 12 points and 5 rebounds. This game was just disappointing for the Jazz, since everyone besides the starters and Derrick Favors had an offgame. Gallinari, Stevenson, Ilyasova, and Hill just weren't in it tonight.

                              GAME 14
A game which seemed a polar opposite of all other games this week, the Jazz were expecting to lose to the Warriors, but had a commanding win of 118-93 against Golden State.

We may as well start with the Warriors highlights. Monta Ellis had 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists, and really was the only player out there on the warriors who actually played phenomenal. Acie Law had 12 points with 5 rebounds and 5 assists, and Al Thornton had 8 points with 8 rebounds. Dorrel Wright had 11 points, and 4 steals, but he made a putrid 4 of 21 shot attempts.

The Jazz had only one negative in today's game, which was Stephen Jackson, but all Jackson did was perform lower than he usually does. Almost all the players had a great game. Paul Millsap certainly led the team with 30 points and 15 rebounds. Derrick Favors had 15 points and 6 rebounds. Jared Dudley also had 15 points and he had 8 rebounds. Al Jefferson had a 12 point, 16 rebound double double, and Devin Harris had a 10 point, 13 assist double double. Ersan Ilyasova had 10 points and 5 rebounds for the night. Deshawn Stevenson also had 8 points. All of the line-up contributed in this game to end the week on a high-note.

                              CURRENT STANDING: 7-7

EDIT: Oh, and next week will also have the monthly report of standings in the league, and player efficiency for the Jazz, as well as top 5 scorers, rebounders, etc.
