Maybe someone could repeat this test and see if there is any variations in the results

Lebron winning 5 MVPs in a row would be a joke. With Durant and Rose there should be far more variation. Not to mention the Steve Nash types that kind of come out of nowhere and make a huge jump.

Anyone know if they fixed the contract negotiations during the later years? The problem with so many players (rated in the 80s) not being signed to a team was because of the contract negotiations. All the NBA teams were over the salary cap because they would all offer ridiculous contracts to mediocre players (i.e., a player with an overall rating of 75-80 would sign $10 million contracts, and players with 85 rating would sign $15+ million per year).

Also, any news on whether the all-star snubbing bug is fixed? In 2k11, players who were injured were not still recognized as an "all-star" and instead were snubbed out. Whats funny is that even high caliber players (such as Kobe or Wade) who were listed "day-to-day" a week before the all-star game and were able to recover in time, would still get snubbed.

And like the OP, I too, love simulating games as I feel like I am in the shoes of a GM. So if any 2k developers are reading, here is an idea: GM mode for 2k13??

This is what customized rosters can do for us. Once we fix the current rosters, we will edit all incoming draft prospects. We can also fix tendacies which affect scoring.

This looks MUCH better than last year to be honest. I now have some hope for my Association going forward. Thank you

Well in the first that I simulated, he was surprisingly absent in the top ten of rebounding during one of those years. However, in this second test run Dwight is there.

Everything is still lookin good.Id like to see the worse team with a few more losses each year.I did see the last season the knicks hit 19 so thats promising.

I noticed the big jump in stars again but that seems fixable with D classes.Have you noticed if there are any big time players left in free agency over the years?I know you said there where a few 80's but i still attribute that to the bad 2k draft classes.

a few obserations from this side of the block:

                          - It "seems" that generated players (maybe caps too), would suffer from the 2k8/2k9 dreaded virus of not scoring, yet rebounding and doing all other things. I remember that such players were hardly among the top scorers due to some preset programming limitation.

                          - It seems that once again, assists would be too low. It would be interesting to see the amount of teams PPG & FG%, as those could be low, translating into lower assists. Also the shooting scales and passing ratings.

                          - By those stats only, there is still some fine tuning needed. It is indeed better than last year with the exception of the generated players stats.

The best would be to have some pictures of a pair of season stats (players and teams) as is painfull to writte them down, but they would surelly serve as a heads up for the editing roster gurus. Then again, I dont want to sound like I am undermining the importance of the help of the OP, it is a hell of a job, THANKS !

One thing that concerns me is that maybe 2k went overboard on the elite players entering free agency since everyone complained about none of the elite guys becoming free agents before based on the fact that in the very least, Blake Griffin went to the Hawks and LeBron went to the Knicks and then left the Knicks for the Spurs.

When simulating in association did you see if:

                                1. 2k added the draft combine to the pre draft workouts.

                                2. Is summer league in?

                                3. Is training camp playable.

                                Thanks
