Clutch Factor wasn't this bad in NBA 2K11. I played Superstar/Simulation with Clutch Factor On. I'd win some and I'd lose some. Clutch Factor works both ways anyway... and I have clutch players on my team.

I never seen this BS with the buzzerbeaters though in 2K11. They have to tone down the clutch factor.

I was using yellaz sliders but they are donkey cheeks also. I think more then anything it's something internal at 2k, things are crazy. It's a good game but when I see the craziness every game it makes me wonder.
I think this maybe 2K not having all the players and coaching tendencies set correctly.

In this game, I would agree. I have it on in 2K11 and I don't see any of the stuff that I see in 2K12.

Do you guys zero the slider out, too, or just turn Clutch off?

I'm hopeful Pro/Default provides a fun experience for me.

I turned clutch off, and experienced my first blowout! I think its definitely the way to go!

            Your right.

Last year was the first year I played with it on. 2k9 and 10 though, it was off for me. Even with it off, I still see clutch players being clutch. It just seems to stop Perk from nailing Js and stuff like that..

No doubt. I play with it off and it is a LOT better. You'll see some blowouts, you'll see some close games, but you'll still always see clutch players being clutch. I think it turns off the rubber band AI... but doesn't decrease the likelyhood that a Kobe is going to be a Kobe in the clutch, etc.

For an even more realistic gameplay experience, delete the patch.

Re: For a realistic gameplay experience, try Pro/Default Slider settings

OK, so I played one game on Pro/Default with Clutch factor turned OFF. It was the Larry Bird game from Greatest Mode and I defeated the Atlanta Hawks by 10, 85-75, on 10-minute quarters.

I really enjoyed the flow of the game, and it also seemed like the players had more weight to them than they did on All-Star. Far less sliding by my defenders.

The only thing that cropped up was the utter lack of foul calls on the default settings. I wasn't called for a single foul and I only went to the line 6 times. What did you guys bump the foul sliders up to?

I'm going to play some more games and see how the results are. After this game I went back to my All-Star set just to see the difference and couldn't make it through 2 quarters without getting extremely frustrated. You can still get a very SIM experience on Pro/Default, but you lose a lot of the CPU silliness that you see on the higher difficulties.

After playing almost a full season of My Player on Allstar/default and Superstar/default(no sliders), which caused me to move my punching bag out of my gym area into my tv room so I can punch it in anger every time some frustrating thing happened, I switched to Pro/default and the game is much less of a pain. Frustrating things do still happen, but less. Is it too easy to win? Yeah, but its still harder than Superstar was in 2k11. I also moved the punching bag back.

Re: For a realistic gameplay experience, try Pro/Default Slider settings

I just beat the Mavs with the Wizards, 131 - 99. It was the most unsatisfying victory in my life LOL. The Mavs did not adjust a single time to stop my jumpshooting onslaught. Instead, they were hellbent on preventing penetration. I dropped 48 points just in the 4th quarter...with my backups!

And I only had 5 free throw attempts for the entire game compared to the Mav's 7...and I play on 12 minute quarters!! I shot 52% from the field compared to their 41%, and I was 24/51 from 3. And get this, I scored 43 fast break points. I'm sorry, but Pro/Default is too easy for it to be considered realistic. Or maybe I'm just too good!

So in regards to turning the clutch off are you guys leaving the sliders at 50 or turning those down too?
