You clearly don't watch enough sports. There are tons of legends in sports that were thought of as nobodies at the start. Look at Tom Brady a 6th round pick is now the best quarterback in the NFL. Manu Ginobili one of the leagues best players was a 57th overall pick and Dirk Nowitzki was the 9th pick but got traded because he didn't perform right away. Now Dirk is guaranteed Hall-of-Famer.
