I think this would help a lot especially considering how quickly the CPU gets through screens and some squaring up animations are too slow.Comment

Interior Defence can create help defence in my mind. The feature they put this year was the ability to put your hands up pointing the right stick anywhere. A lot of times if you are standing still with your hands up, you may be called for a foul. Taking this away will lead to better interior defence. Now adding that the opponent may be called for an offensive foul if your hands are up while you are standing still will create help defence. This is an easy way to add proper NBA help defence for the first time in the NBA 2k franchise. No more spamming the ability to do animation dunks, if you try to hard, you will be called for a charge.Comment

Stat overlays need serious work. First of all, showing "total number" statistics for field goals made and attempted becomes pointless after a team shoots more than like 30 shots. Saying a team is 21/48 from the field doesn't mean much to me. IRL, they use percentages when the numbers get that high.
Also, every single 3rd- and 4th-quarter stat overlay doesn't have to be in a "First Half/Second Half" format. The fact that a team was 9/12 in the first half from the line and 8/10 in the second half isn't significant enough to warrant showing each half as a separate stat. Just say that they're 17/22 in the game.
Watch a real game and look at how they do statistical overlays during the telecast and MIMIC THAT.Comment

These are a few suggestions for the My Player presentation aspects
- Change up the attire we can wear. Not everyone wears the same, crusty brown or navy blue suit. Let us have casual wear. Heck it can even be team gear. Just switch it up. Also, all of the bodies on the suits are the same. Meaning the suits fit every player the same way. The only thing that changes when you see one player in a suit vs another is their head and the color of their hands.
- Let us answer more than 1 question during the post game press conference, as well as give us more opportunities to answer questions. We could do pregame interviews, halftime interviews, or maybe even a 1 on 1 interview with Doris Burke's voice. It doesn't matter. We just want variety.
- Change up the welcome we get from our respective teams once we are drafted. A rookie taken late in the 1st round is not going to be celebrated as the "next big thing" and savior of the franchise.
- Sometimes I feel as though My Player is too one dimensional, meaning that you always have to be a superstar and face of the league. What if I want to be a glorified Sixth Man instead of the star of the team a la Manu Ginobili, Detleff Schrempf or James Harden? Or what if I'm just not cut out for the league and I become a bench scrub. What I'm trying to say is, diversify the routes we can take in our career. Not everyone is destined to be a superstar.
- Allow us to be taken anywhere in the draft whether it's the 1st overall pick, the late 1st round or the 2nd round. We should also be able to be undrafted and play in the D-League until we're called up like in previous 2K games.

Tighten up commentary and the overall sound of the game. By sound of the game I mean how it sounds in arenas when team are playing. I thought Live did this really well.
I would like to see certain attributes cover certain things.
Example:
Hands should not only be a players ability to catch the ball. It should also apply to steals.
Quickness should be a players ability to move around the court, defense, first step, speed, explosiveness on offense, and ability to recover on defense. < no superman stuff though. keep it realistic.
There should be two/three types of momentum
1. Player ( movement based on how fast a player is going.) 2. Team (team going on a scoring run.) 3. Home crowd ( home crowds should be very loud when their teams up.)
Offensive players and defensive players should have the same tools for playing both sides of the ball. The disadvantages should be based on the match up, a players ratings, and or skill.
Realistic contact on the perimeter, paint, on screens, etc.Comment

- I think we need an option in matchup settings to decide how to defend the post pass entry. Right now it is sort of hit or miss whether the defense fronts the post or plays behind the defense. Fronting the post makes it harder to get a pass obviously but you are still are able to get lobs over the top so it is a risk reward type of scenario. When you front the post you always have to have someone behind just in case the lob comes but the pass becomes that much harder. Then you guys can add on to this with animations for different scenarios. The offensive player can push off or the defense can bump and foul on the pass entry. The pass can be stolen, or it can get through with a lob pass etc.
- I think the intense defense needs to trigger a hand checking or hip riding animation more times than it does but it should be a risk reward type of scenario. You want to play more intense defense all game you lose more fatigue and increase your chance to getting a foul call on the perimeter.
- There needs to be a way to assign certain players to be a "roaming defender". If yall have been watching the playoffs the Celtics have been using Garnett as a designated "roaming defender" he is playing off ball but he is sort of doubling to help on anything Lebron or Wade does. This is different than just doubling all the time or double on the drive. It is like a combination of doubling the person, sagging off of one player and deciding who will do most of the help defense. The Celtics are playing more like a matchup zone as well it would be nice if you guys can include this as a defensive setting and have the CPU use it as well.
- I don't know if you can get this in but it would be cool if more players tried to take charges but not all players just the right players. So it might need a special rating or defensive attributes. Guys like Nick Collison, Haslem, Battier, Fisher, have made a career out of taking charges. They don't always get the call but they try. I wouldn't mind seeing more attempts to try to get the charge but they call blocking.
- Speaking of attributes it would be nice if we have certain attributes to give to players that don't involving shooting but gives them some character of sorts or some intangibles, or non shooting, dribbling related. Examples, smart fouling on fast breaks, charge taking ability, shot clock awareness. flopability (kidding), steal risk gambling, composure. Composure could lead into a technical foul for talking to the ref or could cause you to not get back on defense arguing a foul and your team has to switch up defense.
- Please improve on the live ball for user and CPU too many times almost every tip pass or loose ball goes to the CPU. I want the ball to have a mind of its own

Fatigue !! ...Make fatigue a bigger factor and give us longer ranked quarters
Please make ranked games longer so fatigue is a factor in them ...I can't even play ranked games right now because it just feels to much like arcade ball, you can basically pound on the burst button all game long without paying a price
5 min quarters and all your timeouts means fatigue is not a factor in ranked games
How bout having a ranked lobby with longer quarters for guys like me that want to play more of a simulation type game
In order to move this game and other sports games more towards simulation, you need to make fatigue an even bigger factor in them
If somebody wants to pound on the burst button all game long, you should have to pay a price for that ...players in the NBA hardly run at full blast all game long and if they did they would not make to the end of th 1st quarter without getting sick or passing out.
Currently I play 12 min quarter games with a buddy of mine online and that's where I easily find this game at it's best.Comment

I agree with the fatigue, they need some type of fatigue that depletes your energy even more faster the longer you hold the right trigger the more your energy is depleted over the course of the game. So if you want to play full court press all game and turbo all game you have to balance something with realism and the fatigue is the first thing that comes down.Comment

The passing needs to get better overall. the game has no feel for the pass you want to make or the best pass available at the time. The only way to get the pass you want is icon passing and that's too slow if you want to make a quick pass to a cutter. Also the crowd needs to have a huge overhaul. all of the faces in the crowd are the same and they move irregularly and they do the wrong things at the wrong time. 2k is close to being amazing they just need to add in a few things and fix some things up and 2k will be the best sports game ever made. They also need to do something about the online... its getting ridiculous how bad the online is in 2k.Comment
