FIX: No slider is stopping Our players from missing thousands of open layups The cpu running us down on fastbreaks no matter the players The cpu miss shot-bounce on rim-make shot syndrome The cpu making the open 3 with pretty much whoever is open(3pt shooters of course) with regularity, main problem being the below avg- not even closely resembling a 3pt shooter The our players standing there on rebounds and loose balls no matter the player The cpu getting shooting foul calls to the point where our players can get 3-4 fouls in the first few mins The cpu problem period, regardless of slider settings, its just bad. Fix the game-destroy the sliders, it's a beautiful game when it works.

I'm beggin somebody to make a sticky thread of what can't realistically be included and shouldn't be on the wishlists.

      Technicals/flagrants
Presentation from multiple networks (ABC, TNT, etc.)
      All-Star Weekend
      Fights

      Etc.

improve the intentional foul system. When you try to foul, you lose control of the player tasked to foul the ball handler which ruins the game especially when against a smart player. It would be better if the select button would be a "play for the ball foul" where a player aggressively tries to steal the ball but would result in a foul. Sometimes, the defender(if he has a high steal stat etc. and the ball handler has a weak security) would steal the ball which happens in real life when the player to be foul was caught off guard. But if the ballhandler is running, the defender would grab the jersy or something or wrap his arms around like what is in the game now but will not chase the ball handler. I think the r3(ps3) is suppose to be this but it isn't really that useable ingame and the movement is to dramatic. I think it is used in NCAA games of EA. this would make the games more exciting and realistic.

I'd like to see a move towards an inclusion of FIBA/International basketball, even though it seems like a far stretch. Maybe it could even be (don't shoot me) DLC.

Make it to where the FIBA tournament can be played independently or along with your association/my player. Every 2-4 years, based on performances, players are selected to represent the USA squad for the upcoming tournament. Maybe have an option to allow you to coach the USA squad, too.

Just seems like with the inclusion of legends and all, international basketball seems to be the only other stone left untouched.

            • Get rid of the force field that surrounds an offensive player when the CPU calls for a double team. Even if the double team is behind me, and I split the pick and roll, the game makes me walk very slowly as if I were trying to post up instead of being able to accelerate. Also, we should be able to dribble away from double teams like 2K11.

            • Minor fix: When commentators mention our stats during the playoffs, they always refer to our regular season stats. Make them reference our playoff stats.

            • Make the rim and backboard solid when interacting with players without the ball. There have been too many instances of the CPU's arms going through the hoop to block my shot.

            • Tone down the success rate of the CPU's shots that are taken at the shot clock buzzer. They hit so many shot clock buzzer beaters it's crazy. "F-quality" shots and all. And when they don't make the shot, they almost always get the offensive rebound and putback.

            • Make our My Player and Create A Legend teammates a little more competent at least. They can't recognize mismatches on offense (a PG guarding my PF) nor defense. (They won't double team Dwight Howard if the PG is guarding him).

            • Make the playcalling a little more dynamic and realistic. There's no way that a play would be run for Tristan Thompson or Darko Milicic if Kevin Love is on the floor. Also, make them recognize the success rate for plays. Too many times they run the same stupid plays over that never work. If I'm producing at a high level, then the team should run a little more offense through me.

have the CPU assign their best defenders to the opposing teams best player or at least some realistic adjustments like if i put lebron on PG, the opposing teams PG should not defend lebron since they are usually too small.

I like this one. I feel like it'd offer a noticeable touch of realism in an area where folks are not expecting it.

Failed alley-oop passes shouldn't just sail blindly with no one trying to catch it. With the addition of my previous suggestion of icon passing alley-oops, if you throw an alley-oop and the intended recipient isn't in position to catch and finish in mid-air, he should at least go and try to catch it and come down with it. It's ridiculous to see a lob just float and hit the floor as if no one on the court can see it. This isn't YMCA basketball-- NBA players don't let that happen.

better rating system is needed for 2k13. When 2k12 was released every player on the twolves except for the two centers and randolph were deadly shooters. For almost 2 months dirk had 99 midrange an close shot ratings based on what? insider refused to change it. To many 3pt shooters period in 2k but in the real nba not so much

In Nba 2K MWP is considered a 3 point specialist. Based on that pretty much everyone else is Ray Allen.

yep and for some reason rashard lewis knocks down continous 3pointers with a 71 rating. the main issue is the insider is to worried about with twitter kids say instead of actual game performance of players. If a player is playing horrible then drop the category he is undperforming in BUT if that category drops the overall rating the insider will boost another rating to keep overall up. Carmello anthony got good at end of season after amare went down but before then his shot % was horrible majority of the season. Insider kept his midrange at 84 so this overall wouldnt drop and twitter kids would flood him with complaints. ONce mello started playing better he raised his 3pt rating so that the overall would coincide with this increase in effectiveness. THis is the only reason i like SYNERGY from EA. Fans shouldnt have any influence on player ratings.

I want a new game mode, like association of the past. Or Re-live the Association.

Basically you pick the where, and when you want to start your association. For example, you might want to start your association with the cleveland cavaliers from 2003 and forward. so all the rosters from 2003 season will be there, and and LeBron will be in his rookie year, and then you play out your association. also draft classes will be with real players until the present year, when computer starts to make up players. for example, in 2004-05 Dwight Howard will be in the draft, then probably in 2007 and 2008 Durrant and rose will come into the NBA as rookies.

Also, i don't want them togo all the back to the 60s. The earliest you could start your association should be like Jordans rookie year from the 1980s. and if we choose to start our association from the 80s, it should have all the draft classes with real NBA players until the 2013 season. so in 1991 Shaq will be in the draft, and in 1997 Kobe will come into the league, and in 03 we get Lebron, wade..etc. Maybe Jordan will retire with 12 NBA championships, and will continue to ball with the Bulls until 2003, and Magic won't have to retire in 1991, and gets to challenge the BUlls in the finals throughout the 90s. Perhaps Karl Malone will win a title.

I think it would be pretty cool if they did this, i know that Players like Kobe and Shaq may not be with the Lakers, or Tim Duncan with the SPurs, but it would be nice to see where these players get drafted in your association, and how their careers end up.

idk, am just thinking about spicing up the NBA game, my favorite players are getting old, and retiring in first or second year of the association in 2k, or they just suck, and are past their prime. I think this would be awesome, if we get an association mode where we get to play with the current and past players in their prime.

                            What you guys think?

                              1. Here's a video I made discussing the frustrating cheap fouls in the paint and the inconsistency in the foul detection:

                              2. Here's a video I made that covers the frustrating off-ball movements by AI teammates - explains the annoying lack of awareness off-ball AI teammates have and their inability to recognize when to cut and where to cut.
                              <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/wGZ4bUSH0mo" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="360" width="640"></iframe>

                              3. In this one I discuss the bad contextual dunk animation selection:

                              4. In this video I once again talk about the annoying lack of contact in the paint (this one's a little more thorough, since I actually talk this time).

There's another problem with that Westbrook to Ibaka thing.

Why is Westbrook throwing over hand like a soccer inbounds play? Westbrook isn't a great passer, imo, but he shouldn't be passing like that.

                                Anywho...

I actually have a wish or suggestion for play calling:

It's so, so, so frustrating to have to go to an exact spot in a play when you know you're about to run off a screen. And it's even worse because at times the game will make you follow the arrow to a target spot...stop in place on the target and then go around the arrows directing you through the screens.

There's one play in particular in the Phi play book, Phi Twist Post, I think. Has me run down to the base line from the top right arc then sit there a second, then run around two screens. If I could just run through the target at the baseline without stopping, I'd be freer off the screens.

My suggestion is add a new target that's more like a check point or a large zone. You don't have to hit it and stay there, you can just pass through it without stopping and the game'll register you and keep the plays going. It's bad enough I have to avoid my defender like the plague cuz if he touches me I'm locked in a bumping animation or being posted up if I stop anywhere NEAR the paint, if you won't change that, give us some options.

Also, something must be done about AI ball handlers holding the ball for no reason when the play calls for them to pass. Especially egregious when a center will hold on to the ball on a MEM ISO 4 and start doing ridiculous crossovers like a buffoon. I can tolerate it sometimes when it's a wing, but Tyson Chandler needs to never do anything with the ball beyond 15 feet but pass it to someone else.
