Better rebounding logic and animations: Lots of times guys will jump straight up with their arms straight up in the air and miss the ball because it fell a couple of feet away from them. Other times guys will do this awkward animation where they barely jump and have their arms bent and their hands behind their heads. And even with the animations we have now, sometimes you can have good position to get the rebound but miss out on it because you didn't get the right animation.

Also, it's pretty lame how the CPU knows exactly where the ball will land once it bounces off the rim and every CPU player on the other team is in the paint trying to rebound...even PGs and SGs.

I request additional big man standstill slam animations. Many of the existing standstill big man dunk animations seem relatively weak and stiff, particularly the one-handers. In many cases, it seems as if there's no real arm propulsion, just an animation of a player jumping upward and the ball dunking in. I would welcome more authority or even just more standstill dunks involving the grabbing or breaking away of the rim.

And for god's sake, let us throw alley oops to players who are standing still

The funny thing is I've seen the CPU do this. But for some reason the user can't.

I've done some searching on other forums and with google but I am yet to find an answer to this;

I desperately want proper control (Like in past games) for the All Star Weekend Dunk contest. I don't want the dunk contest to turn into Guitar Hero.

Somebody please tell me there is an option to change to the regular way of doing it.

It's been like this for too long.

In My Player when I call a timeout myself and it's called "Good Timeout" in my Teammate Grade, the CPU will call another timeout immediately after my timeout ends. It does it EVERY TIME. Doesn't even seem so hard to fix.

That is one of the things that really irks me.

It makes me hesitate calling a TO because I dont want to waste a TO.

MP will be good/better next year even if they just fix the bugs and do something with Teammate AI.

two things (for now):

• the ability to perform a 'flashy pass', as in 2k10 'a-button'+'right trigger'=flashy pass

You can still do bank shots, in practice mode while reading the controls it can teach you how to do bank shots.

My problem with NBA 2k12....

My Player

Why do our players come into the league and be terrible.Why don't our players come in the league at the level of Kyrie Irving or John Wall . If I'm a point guard, why is my ball security a 60 ovr. Why isn't our essential ratings like pass, ball handling, off hand dribble not at least a 75 to 80 ovr.

A player that is 61 ovr doesn't deserve to get playing time in the NBA. So stop putting us at shooting guard. You don't get better by play games, you get better by working on your skills in the gym and working hard in practice.

I think its too hard, Our my players just get abused. Rookies have skills when come in the league. 60 overalls don't deserve to be in the league. We should start at 70 to 75 overall. We should have a skill set.

Use the Play types from 2k12- Lets say I'm a point guard that wants to play like Deron Williams. I shouldn't be able to dunk on people. I should only be able to upgrade my pass, ball handling, my shooting skills, strength, quickness, and speed.


Its stupid how you can go from being a bum to being the best play in the league. We should start off like Kyrie Irving or John Wall are right now.

How can someone be 6 foot and over not be able to dunk just because they didn't pick the athletic play style, that unrealistic. Unless there Jameer Nelson. JK

Teammate AI- Your teammates play so stupid. They don't move to get open, they just stand around. They won't shoot when their open. Don't pass the ball when people are open. Cant take advantage of mismatches. Big Men play soft.

Getting draft- Please have us get drafted to team that needs our position, not a team that has good player at our position.

Stop simming the off-season: We should be able to do off season workouts and maybe play in summer leagues(crew).

Computer cheesing- The other team plays out of character, they do things that they can't do in real life just because your playing them. John Lucas and Steve Blake turns into CP3 and Deron Willams. The CPU cheats and plays unfair.

Gameplay-

Spacing- There is no spacing, the paint so cramed and a biggest thing on offense is spacing.

Defense- Unfair defense, its real hard to take advantage of mismatches on offense because of unreal defense.

Unreal recovery- the defense being able to recover after you beat them.

Speed- big men being able to keep up with guards off the dribble or on the fast break.

Body control- people just walking out of bounds or going backcourt on their own.

Bumping- especially on my player, getting bumped and fouled when trying to cut every time and getting no calls.

Fouls- blatant fouls get no calls but phantom fouls get calls.

Passing is just awful self explanatory

Get rid of generic shoes

Add Under Armour shoes

Home/ Away gear options

Better Tattoos

Let us pick our jerseys in ranked matches and online association

In my player when its time to decide on your new contract you should be able to go meet and talk with teams that you are interested in or that are interested in you like you do after the rookie showcase and if your current team wants you to stay they should be willing to do whatever it takes to keep you.


Also fix the over the back foul call. They will call foul just for standing near the rebounder.

I really like this idea. I also think that when it's your contract year, if you are a big star then you should have more post game questions asking you about your impending free agency. You should also be able to try and recruit other players to your team as well as see things in the rumor mill about where other players are going so that it may influence your decision.

And I haven't done a My Player off-season yet, but from what I've heard and seen, it seems that teams will lots of times offer you contracts way below your value. Like even if you're an MVP, scoring champion or win a title, they'll still try to low-ball you. You should also be able to do things like contract extensions, no trade clauses as well as sign and trades in My Player.

Yes they are. Pippen's game is with the 1996 Bulls.
