definitely a first because Randolph is close to a all star and would make a deadly team with bogut. i would trade gooden and udrih because livingston is a solid backup and moute is a player that can play three and four

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Hey guys, I'm working on the 30 team control and I'm getting close to the trade deadline. I've been trying to come up with some good trades to help out the teams fighting for the last couple playoff spots.
In my association, the Grizzlies are dead last in the west for some reason so I decided to start helping them unload for a rebuild. I already shipped Mayo off to NJ because of the real life talks and now I'm looking at getting rid of Randolph. I was looking at Milwaukee as the likely destination since they're clinging to the 8th spot for dear life. Here's what I've come up with and an explanation to follow.
Milwaukee gets:
Z. Randolph
J. Davis
J. Pargo
Memphis gets:
E. Ilyasova
(here's where I need help deciding) 2 of the next 3 players
D. Gooden
B. Udrih
L. Mbah a Moute
The Bucks would get a solid guy in Randolph to hold down the 4 for the next 3-4 years while they continue to develop and make runs at the playoffs. Pargo is actually a younger upgrade over Udrih, while Davis is just filler to make the players even.
Since I decided to help Memphis rebuild a bit, here's the dilemma. Gooden is old and doesn't fit the rebuild, but he helps with the salary for this trade, and the Grizz can always amnesty him. Udrih is a good size expiring contract. Mbah is a 3 with good potential that can fight it out with Sam Young to see who comes off the bench behind Gay, plus he fits well with the defensive mindset of the team. Ilyasova is a decent 4 also with good potential that can battle Arthur for the starting PF spot. At the very least, he also has an expiring contract that Memphis can release if he's not performing well.
It also seems to me that the Bucks should throw in a lottery-protected 1st since they're getting a big upgrade but I can't decide. Any combination of the 4 Bucks players works so let me know what you guys think about the deal.
BTW, Memphis can not amnesty Gooden. You can only amnesty players on your roster before the CBA was signed.Tennessee Volunteers

also a few more questions:
1. i asked this earlier in the week but it might have gotten caught in the mix, but is there anyway to sim surprises (lol my boy Lin) or busts
2. is there a method or way to have us be able to edit the tendencies and ratings after the first year, any way i'm not sure

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
awesome had no clue for the doc, and yea i will be using the player progression tab but i don't feel that will, for example make a gilbert arenas or tony parker
EDIT: one idea is i've always used random.org for a random team and i see everyone else uses it too, but we could maybe randomize 2 players in each years draft and 2 or 3 young players and put them through a randomize to see if they recieve a big big boost or a really really bad decline

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
I have to agree with this. If you're really looking to trade Randolph, why not put him on am already title contending team instead of a team barely holding onto an 8th seed?Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
I don't really care that he put him on 8th seed, but the pieces the Grizzles got back were awful. The Bucks don't have any expiring contracts to give back either. Remember Udrih still has that player option.Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
I'm right at the deadline, and here are a few players that are "disgruntled" (chosen by me, but tried to think realistically) and want traded away.
Does anyone have any possible suggestions for any of these players?
MIL Stephen Jackson (thinking maybe to the Nets to pair w/Williams and Howard)
UTA Paul Millsap (too crowded in the frontcourt, he wants more PT)
DET Will Bynum (Same, he wants more PT. Tired of the bench)
TOR Demar Derozan (these two are just sick of losing in Toronto)
TOR Andrea Bargnani (See Above)
MIN Michael Beasley (He isn't liking the culture in Minnesota)
POR Gerald Wallace (Blazers have had very disappointing season)
POR Nicolas Batum (See above)
WAS Nick Young (Not feeling like Wizards are going places)Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Just a head's up guys; in addition to the progression system on the guide, I'm boosting every player that has a "veteran(10 + yrs)" at his position. The player gains 5 points in the veteran's best attribute. I came up with a more complex system that included different kinds of boosts, but i scratched it since i couldnt keep track of it easily. Anyway, what do you guys think?Comment

Personally Beasley because have Wes Johnson and Derrick Williams. Batum because he would get a little back that would help the future, also Millsap should just get more playing time for this year because the Jazz young bigs are still really young

I came up with the Jeremy Lin effect just the other day...each team has a 20% chance of taking a player 25 years or younger, 65 OVR or less and giving him +10 potential.Comment

Yeah but neither DeRozan or Bargnani are anwhere near that good. If I had to trade one I'd trade DeRozan. I really expect Bargnani to stay though.Tennessee Volunteers
