Cool..just remember, a team can only resign one guy on their team for the 5yrs if they are already under their control. For example the T-Wolves resigned Love to 4yrs only because they're probably going to look at resigning Rubio to the 5yr deal over him. And if the player isn't in the teams control, 4yrs is the max they can sign with them period. Somethin like that anyway lol.

Crawford is a tough call...he's one you could easily let random.org decide aas well for what he does with his player option.

I pretty much have every player I'm having re-sign with their teams edited, and for options I know the player will decline/accept irl I set to team option so I will decline/accept them in the offseason.

For example, Dwight Howard I set to team option which I will decline, and Elton Brand I set to team option which I will accept(since he ALWAYS declines that 18mil for some reason).

Only suggestion I can give you is trade him back to the Spurs for probably a draft pick, then trade picks back in forth until the Spurs have their pick back and Duncan.

Yea thats what ill do i could never see tim in anything but a spurs jersey, especially not a suns jersey. So thank you. I think tim duncan will retire A spur.

When does that reset? By the time Rubio is due for an extension, Love will already be into his deal, wouldn't he? I get it if you can only have one guy with 5 years left per team, but it's weird if you have to wait for that one guy's contract to expire before being allowed to sign another guy to a 5 year deal.

I think you have wait until they are the last year of their current deal, before you can resign them IRL.

Jameer Nelson-option for 7.8m In my association Howard was moved to the Lakers in a three way trade and the Magic received Bynum, Scola and Kevin Martin.

Jordan Farmar-option for 4.25m. I haven't decided if D-Will accepts his player option or not or if there is any chance he resigns in NJ. I did resign Brook Lopez after Howard went to the Lakers.

Cole Aldrich-Team option 2.45m. Is he such a bust that the Thunder will give up on him already?

Jamaal Crawford-5.0m Seems like he might be able to get more elsewhere and the Blazers are headed towards rebuilding with Camby retiring and Gerald Wallace walking, plus Felton and Batum may or may not resign (Batum is a restricted and I plan to match any offer that isn't crazy)

            thanks for any feedback.
Nelson should accept the option. He's not getting that money anywhere else.

Not sure on Farmar. He could go either way.

I don't think OKC will give up on Aldrich just yet. I wouldn't be shocked if he replaces Nazr Mohammed as the backup C next season.

Blazers are interesting. I think they will keep either Wallace or Batum, but not both. If I had to guess, I think Crawford might go elsewhere as he could probaly find a better team in a bigger market and get similar money.

To clarify everyone's confusion, you can only extend player's for 4 season's except one designated player. You can't give out another 5 year extension until that player's contract is off your books or you have traded him. You can sign free agents to 5 year deals if you have their bird rights during free agency

If you go to the association guide, I listed every player with a team or a player option and who should be accepted or declined. Obviously you don't have to follow it, but it could be a nice guideline to look over

if this too much of a hassle no one has to answer, but can someone give me the basics of contracts? like rules for teams, such as the only one 5 year contract?

For contract extensions players can only receive a 4 year deal, except for one designated player. If you own a player's bird rights then you can sign him for 5 year deal during free agency. If you don't have his bird rights then you can only sign the player to 4 year contract.

For mid-level exception, if you don't pay the luxury tax (over 70 million) then you can offer a contract at for 4 years at 5 million a year. For luxury tax teams, you can sign a guy for 3 years at 3 million a year

3 years and you have them transferred when you trade the players. As for the budgets, The game will give you how much money you have on the books and in the guide there is list of teams that can't spend more than 70 million and everyone else can't spend more than 80 million

Yeah I used that as a guideline, but in a few cases I differered or decided to ask for a 2nd opinion.

                                Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion

Hey guys, I'm working on the 30 team control and I'm getting close to the trade deadline. I've been trying to come up with some good trades to help out the teams fighting for the last couple playoff spots.

In my association, the Grizzlies are dead last in the west for some reason so I decided to start helping them unload for a rebuild. I already shipped Mayo off to NJ because of the real life talks and now I'm looking at getting rid of Randolph. I was looking at Milwaukee as the likely destination since they're clinging to the 8th spot for dear life. Here's what I've come up with and an explanation to follow.

                                Milwaukee gets:
                                Z. Randolph
                                J. Davis
                                J. Pargo

                                Memphis gets:
                                E. Ilyasova
(here's where I need help deciding) 2 of the next 3 players
                                D. Gooden
                                B. Udrih
                                L. Mbah a Moute

The Bucks would get a solid guy in Randolph to hold down the 4 for the next 3-4 years while they continue to develop and make runs at the playoffs. Pargo is actually a younger upgrade over Udrih, while Davis is just filler to make the players even.

Since I decided to help Memphis rebuild a bit, here's the dilemma. Gooden is old and doesn't fit the rebuild, but he helps with the salary for this trade, and the Grizz can always amnesty him. Udrih is a good size expiring contract. Mbah is a 3 with good potential that can fight it out with Sam Young to see who comes off the bench behind Gay, plus he fits well with the defensive mindset of the team. Ilyasova is a decent 4 also with good potential that can battle Arthur for the starting PF spot. At the very least, he also has an expiring contract that Memphis can release if he's not performing well.

It also seems to me that the Bucks should throw in a lottery-protected 1st since they're getting a big upgrade but I can't decide. Any combination of the 4 Bucks players works so let me know what you guys think about the deal.
