Just seeing this now, great idea, any chance you could upload what you've added to your excel sheet. Sorry if you already put it up. I also like the chemistry aspect, I'd like to help out if you need any help. Thanks!

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
actually as you mention Chris Kaman, how would a T'Wolves and Hornets trade sound?

Indiana is another team that might want Kaman. You could send maybe a protected 1st round pick and with the Pacers cap room you wouldn't have to send any players.Tennessee Volunteers

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Yeah most definitely, PM me your email adress. I havent added that to my spreadsheet yet. I'm still thinking about how we can rate coaches. I need help figuring out the chemistry part. Do you want me to clear all the information or do you want to see how i filled the stuff out for my association? I added Power Rankings, Position Rankings, Team Scouting Reports, Retired #'s, Player Development, a table for how injuries work, and I added and modified SFX's Free agent calculator. For player development I use a slightly different method. I say that any of the 4 protected players can improve, and you dont have to flip a coin to see if they improve. My reasoning for this is that you can develop and protect certain players, but if youre not careful, some key pieces might regress.Last edited by zay916; 02-11-2012, 03:46 PM.Comment

EDIT: while teacher effects potential, the scale could also be applied to boosting off/def attributesLast edited by chinatownpwnage; 02-11-2012, 03:48 PM.

The best deal I can think of for the T'Wolves is Beasley and Webster for Kaman. I don't know if NO would want Beasley or not though. Another possiblity would be Webster, Randolph, and Wes Johnson for Kaman.

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
also because i'm about to start my association really soon i was thinking about different ideas to try to improve the association and one is trainers could effect team injuries
also was did anyone come up with a way to handle all the free agent signings since the free agent period might to be long enough, i remember this topic a long time ago but don't think i read or saw an answer

I don't know if NO would want to give up either Vasquez or Henry but that would work as well. I think you could also do Kaman for Webster and Johnson and leave Randolph out if you feel Minnesota was giving too much.Tennessee Volunteers

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Here is how I'm doing free agency. First you need to refuse all qualifying offers. It would also help to write down who the RFAs are. Then you should simulate the FA period without signing anyone. After that you can go to the main menu and sign the FAs like you would during the season. You can then sign all the FAs for all the teams without being on a time limit. If you want to take away bias, sfx has created a FA calculator so you can look at multiple contract offers and determine which is the best. Or you could just choose where all the FAs go yourself.Last edited by zay916; 02-11-2012, 04:30 PM.Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Ok, pretty straight forward deal...
Blazers get:
Nash
Suns get:
Felton
Oden
All 3 deals are one year, so Phoenix get cap relief if them don't want to keep either player. If feel like Oden needs a change of scenery and the trainers in Phoenix are well know for being able to revive players careers(G. Hill for example). The Blazers have been fading fast in my association and I think this switch of PG's can get them back on the right track. Maybe Phoenix throws in a top 10 protected pick in 2012 or 13 to balance it out a bit.Last edited by qpc123; 02-11-2012, 05:30 PM."You come at the King, you best not miss..."Comment

That's a perfect deal if you throw in a top 10 protected pick from PHX. Quick question though; am I the only one that doesn't use Greg Oden in Year 1. I always make sure he doesnt play until Year 2.Comment
