Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Lol at the tanking, I think in future years in my new CBA, I'll have the draft be just an equal lottery among the teams who didnt make the playoffs(using random.org). So i can stop the MJ's and Dan Gilbert's of the world. No more weighted ping pong balls.Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Hey guys
I am interested in doing this but have one question i couldn't find an answer for.
When a player gets "injured" as it says in the guidelines and you put him in the reserves for his injurie what stops that player getting angry and demanding a trade? example D.Wade unlucky gets injured as in the guidelines, i put him on the reserves where he gets no game time and he gets really angry and his morale drops to 0 and he loses overall points.
How do you stop this?
thanks in advanceComment

Qpc I saw your reworked trade but lost it in the mix. I feel the hornets receive too much in the deal personally

Yeah I'm still trying to work that one out. It will most likely end up happening, as Kevin Martin just got injured, so the Rockets don't really have the pieces to swing a deal for Granger."You come at the King, you best not miss..."Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
I fixed my chemistry methods, will upload tomorrow and share with anyone who PM's me. Basically, I fixed it so that you are rewarded for easing a player back into a lineup after an injury or taking a couple extra games to teach a new player the system. Next, I'm gonna work on a trainer system, and a practice vs. rest system. BTW, I simmed 90% of Year 1, but I'm gonna take it slow and let my season unfold for Year 2. Damn, it's getting late, goodnight.Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
So I'm about to start a 30-team using the Knicks. Before the season starts I want to get rid of Melo. Now I realize this isn't very realistic considering what Dolan went through to get him, but he's my least favorite player in the NBA and doesn't fit the team. That said, I do want it to be a fair and realistic trade for the team he's going to. That means I have to feel the team he goes to becomes a legitimate contender (in game) for the next few year by adding him. That kind of limits my options. But here are 3 I'm heavily considering:
1.) Knicks trade: Melo
Pacers trade: Granger, 2012 lottery protected 1st, 2014 lottery protected 1st
2.) Knicks trade: Melo
76ers trade: Andre Iguodala, Andres Nocioni (exp. contract), 2012 lottery protected 1st
3.) Knicks trade: Melo
Blazers trade: Gerald Wallace, Greg Oden (exp. contract), 2012 lottery protected 1st
And here's one more I'd only do if I kept Melo until the deadline:
Knicks trade: Melo, Tyson Chandler, 2012 unprotected 1st
Magic trade: Dwight Howard, Hedo Turkoglu
What do you guys think? Also, I open to hearing any other possible trades you might have thought up.Last edited by ballsohard; 02-12-2012, 12:46 PM.Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
That is the one I'm least likely to do, I think. A) I'm not sure I want to have Melo for half the season. B) I've really liked Tyson for a long time IRL. C) I'd feel like I'm cheating if I traded Melo for a more talented player. D) I'd rather see/play against a D-Will/Dwight team-up on my cross-river rivals, The Nets, for years to come.Comment

2) This one depends on how Philly plays in your assoc.(I know you haven't started it yet) in mine they are awful so getting Melo may actually be a nice move for them as 2k seems to value having one/two star players(which is realistic) a whole lot more than having a team the is balanced and plays well together(not very realistic, see 2012 Sixers IRL)
3) Not sure the Knicks get enough in this one, may want add a lower value player from player that can still provide some offense, or maybe a PG swap with Baron and Felton.
4) Taking Hedo's contract will limit your future options, but as we all know the Knicks don't seem to have an issue with paying guys who don't perform."You come at the King, you best not miss..."Comment

2.) Knicks trade: Melo
76ers trade: Andre Iguodala, Andres Nocioni (exp. contract), 2012 lottery protected 1st This one isn't all that bad...still say make the pick non-lottery protected.
3.) Knicks trade: Melo
Blazers trade: Gerald Wallace, Greg Oden (exp. contract), 2012 lottery protected 1st Oden is pretty good on the game with no injuries so you're getting a steal here. Either take Oden out and make the pick a non-protected 1st, or take the pick out and make it Oden/Wallace for Melo only.
And here's one more I'd only do if I kept Melo until the deadline:
Knicks trade: Melo, Tyson Chandler, 2012 unprotected 1st
Magic trade: Dwight Howard, Hedo Turkoglu Would be interesting...completely unrealistic for real-life standards but it's not a bad looking trade.
