My early copy didn't come with the DLC for All Star Weekend. If anyone gets a "EXTRA CODE" could you pm it my way it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: What happens if you DON'T pre-order NBA 2k13?

Last year I didn't preorder; I went to Walmart at Midnight and the flyer for the exclusive Kings and Warriors were in the Game case itself, not on the receipt. Based on that I would assume the same for the DLC this year, all of the first shipments will have it.

I was on the fence about ordering this year, but why even chance it? I know I will end up buying the game anyway, and it is just one more thing to enhance the sim experience in Association Preordered this weekend.

PS:Preordering and paying in full is great if you want to get home right away. My local GameStop has a regular checkout line, and another line for people who have already paid in full. Usually in and out of there in 2 minutes.

Best Buy stopped taking in store pre-orders Saturday. Traded ina bunch of games because of their 100% match on trade ins. Turned around and tried to pre-order. Guy at the register could not get the bar code to scan and take the pre-order. Tried again today at another Best Buy same thing happened. Kind of blows!

It was known before 2K12 came out that the classic teams DLC were in the box of all the initial launch copies of the game. Once those ran out they were gone forever. There has not been one single person who has bought 2K13 early that has said there was a code for ASW DLC in the box.

The only version of the game that comes with the DLC is the Dynasty Edition. Even with that version it is placed outside of the game case and in the box that carries all of the contents. The standard version of the game comes with NO CODE INSIDE THE CASE. You have to pre-order from a store that is offering the DLC to get it with the standard edition. The code will be on your receipt or e-mailed to you depending on how you order.

              All-Star Weekend DLC

Does one have to pre-order the game in order to enjoy this mode? I was on bestbuy.com and they are touting this as a pre-order exclusive tied to Best Buy. I really don't want to run to Best Buy tonight just to ensure that i can indeed acquire this mode. On a side note this pre-order DLC is ridiculous.

I don't know, you tell me.

You either want the mode or you don't. No one can really answer this question for you.

Ahh okay, I haven't seen anyone say that it's not included in the game this year. Makes me more grateful for preordering lol.

As I posted on the gamestop preorder question. This is straight from the Gamestop website for NBA 2k13:

"Online Customers: Code will be emailed within 2 business days after your order ships.
Store / In-Store Pickup Customers: Code will be printed on your receipt at time of pickup. "

I think I saw an advertisment saying they'll give $30 for Madden 13 or Borderlands 2. Just check the website for Trade-in values.

Yeah, Gamestop ran a promo two weeks ago for a guarnteed $30 trade-in. However, with a lot of people trading it in towards 2k13, borderlands 2, black ops 2, assassins creed 3, etc; they have taken Madden off the guarnteed list. They're only taking NHL 13, Borderslands 2, Fifa 13 and another game for $30 dollar guarnteed trade in now. You'll most likely only receive $20-25 trade in. It's all about supply and demand. The rule of thumb with gamestop is, look up how much they are selling a used copy for and divide by 2. That seems to be the trade in value most of the time.

What is it with GameStops across America selling these things?

Like another said, they removed Madden from the $30 list. However, it's around $25 and they are running a 30% bonus when trading towards NBA2k13, and the bonus from your card. You should be able to get around $32-35.

Everyone I have official info. Gamestop does reserves which is pre ordering. You pay $5 right there then they give you a receipt that shows you pre ordered it and you give it to them when you pick it up. Best buy is not doing any more pre orders. They order more of course but you wont get the bonus. Also people are saying if you dont pre order then you never have a chance to get the all star bonus. This is false and is stupid. Obviously 2K likes money and so does everyone else. If you dont pre order you can always get the game itself but then buy the All Star bonus with micosoft points. It will be available as a DLC which is what it is anyway. You could also go to gamestop or best buy and tell them you want it and i think it costs $20. They will then print the code thats you redeem on Xbox or ps3. So if you want all star bonus for midnight or tomorrow i suggest you go to gamestop before 10 P.M. and reserve it or go online abd choose pick up in store or ship to store and pay the $5 when you pick it up along with the price of the game.
