A Way to Cheese back against the shot clock cheese!
When 5 sec is left on the shot clock pull up the double team icon to see which off ball player is closer to the shooter, once 2 sec hit call the double team and the AI will be stuck in the animation and get a shot clock violation.Comment

yes i believe its real. its the fact that the cpu scrubs can shoot a clutch 3 in yo face when you got your hands up. this happened to me in the 4 quarter with like 10 seconds remaining. wtf, i could've lost the game cause of a no name scrub. everyone shouldn't play be able to play like melo.
Say the cpu misses a 3 point shot, they get the rebound then they quickly pass to an open shooter in the 3 point line, they make the shot 70% of the time after that. has this happen to anyone else? i try to do the same thing but I end up missing 2 in a row even though they were open, its not fair.Comment

Double teams are sometimes ******** though, cuz the the double teaming teammate doesn't fully trap the offensive player, haha.
And what if he's on Iso? Nobody close enough to catch him on a double, so I'll just put my hands up or just time the block right (risky tho).My NBA 2k Blog and VideosComment

HOF by ITSELF is cheese! That - I'm sure - the devs will agree with because I think that's the intent of that level. It's supposed to be like "INSANE" difficulty in Doom. Or is that "NIGHTMARE"?Comment

I was playing against the CPU today, Miami (cpu) vs Spurs.
5 seconds left in the 2nd quarter, Norris Cole brings the ball up. I got Jackson in his face, glued to him. 1 sec left, he jumps, I go up and I got my hands IN HIS FACE AND ON THE BALL and it just goes over me and straight through the net. Unbelievable, difficulty was superstar or all star (the one before HOF).Comment

I am going to test out these two things:
Test 1:
As soon as the shot clock is running out and I am defending the shooter - pause the game, go to Choose Side and have the CPU defend the CPU and see if the CPU can stop the CPU from shotclock cheesing.
Test 2:
Same instance with the shot clock... I am going to switch sides to the other team and try to make the shot myself.Comment

Well technically the shot clock cheese might not exist. I played 2k12 long enough to realize many times shot quality means nothing for the CPU. The CPU is programmed to shoot at a higher % compared to the User anyway. That's why you can max out the 3pt shot, consistency, perfect release and still miss 5 straight compared to the computer being 90% when shooting a open midrange jumper and probably 80% good when shooting a open 3.
I believe the CPU shooting in general is cheese . It's just so happens the CPU takes last second shots because us users can play great D for 20 sec.Comment

I'm a shot clock cheese non believer -- I have my video showing myself playing on HOF sim with no shot clock cheese present. Which believer is going to show me consistent shot clock cheese?

So next time you make a video turn on shot quality and you will see the Cheese with the CPU shooting.Last edited by demfl; 09-03-2012, 06:19 PM.Comment
