Also;
Hustle
Hands
Quickness
Shoot in Traffic
Vertical (sounds counter-intuitive when you are 7'1" but the stat plays out in the formulas used to determine outcomes of rebounds, putbacks and dunks.)
Sig Skill: Scrapper - really helps a lot. - I'd do this before anything else.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
My 3-point specialist was traded to the Clippers after I complained about Monroe on Detroit...
I am actually really enjoying the Clippers and recommend them for any outside/scoring SF.
It is really fun watching both Jordan and Griffin put back my misses... some of the Putbacks are classic top 10 SportCenter highlights.
Chris Paul always dishes to everyone on the floor, and even Griffin and Jordan will pass to you as an outlet when necessary. I am very surprised at how well my guy fits into the scheme of things there.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
After the all star break I selected play next key game and it simulated the rest of the season I won the MVP. Im on PS3.
What happens if I pick next key game in the playoffs? Will it sim the entire playoffs or is every playoff game a key game? Anyone know?Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
Scrapper is a really good skill to work with. Also Hustle Points is good skill for off rebs.
Another Good skill to have as a big man is Brick Wall. For only 500VC(only 1 level), it is a great skill to have. I played with a player with Brick Wall skill and they are great teammates to have.
Once the patch comes out, I will create my 6'11 275 Athletic PF/C(a combo big man). The first skill I will buy is Brick Wall, Scrapper, Eraser, Post Proficiency, then Finisher.Comment

For the non-traditional bigmen (like Dirk or Love or Bargnati(the Toronto guy(sp)) I'd substitute Spot-up Shooter for Post Proficiency.Comment

Good choices; I always max out rebounding on my bigmen first, so my order of acquiring the sigs would be different, but I think you nailed them for a classic bigman.

Also, the "Legend Training Camps" are quite good for their VC costs... there are 2 Post camps with cost about 300 total, but give you skill ups worth more then you spend on the camps. (Other good ones are: Jordan, Magic, Bird and Rodman) I did not try West or Thomas.Comment

Magic Johnson is following me in 2K Twitter after getting 18 assist with my 3-pt specialist SG plus having locking in my first back to back to back triple-doubles. Look out LeBron, I'm coming lol.NFL: Seattle Seahawks

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
Kylie Irving in my game has demanded a trade from Cleveland since the team got Chris Paul. I saw it in the rumors. He hasn't been traded yet though. It will be interesting to see what the Cavs get for him. So far I saw they got an offer from Portland for LaMarcus Aldridge.Last edited by Maurice123; 11-10-2012, 10:54 PM.Comment
