Made an Athletic PG, got fouled out intentionally in the first quarter in the Rookie Showcase and I got drafted #27 by the Miami Heat. This game makes no sense some times :PComment

Scoring 6'1 PG. Drafted 5th to the Kings. Had a triple double (25pts, 10reb, 11ast) in the showcase but because i only got one steal i didnt go higher. Right now im overall 89, Average 25pts, 5rebs, and 13ast got traded to the Sixers 15 games in for Jrue Holiday. Signed to Jordan (though i wanted to wear the reebok question). I'm the best player on the Sixers, why isn't my status star ?Comment

Raptors 3k Update: 56 games into the season; 17 wins 39 losses
The Good: Team Turnovers per game - 1st in the league @ 8.9/gm.
The Bad: MyPlayer's season is echoing Kobe Bryant's real life season.
The Ugly: Often MyPlayer is responsible for 4+ turnovers each game.
In the last game, the big men (McGee for me & Chandler for NYK) actually played like bigs in the pant. Both had 2-3 blocks (led respective teams) and both were involved in the paint; McGee in the offensive paint and Chandler in the defensive paint.
This Raptor team has many things in common with the first year Thunder team - except the winning record ofc. In a few years after the young players mature and grow together we shall be true contenders. Let us hope the gm in my game continues to listen to me and does not screw things up.Comment

I'm 25 games into the season on 12 min quarters. I'm getting a bit bored but when I sim will myplayer put up realistic stats or similar to the ones I'm having now?
I'm a 94 overall 6'4 SG, I'm averaging 37 ppg - 8.8 APG - 4.4 RBG on .590% FG.
I just want to be sure that I get MVP/Rookie of the year and that my team makes it into the playoffs.Comment

Im finally a starter, unfotunately, i will be matched up in a key game at SG vs. Kobe, I'm gonnna try to hold him under 25 points and i love to be challenged.

Just wanted to let you know that I found the solution in changing the difficulty as you said. I did that and then the next 5-6 games went as they were the previous season. It then did the same thing again (having beaten the 76er's, the Clippers and nearly beaten the Lakers, I then lost to the Bobcats and Trail Blazers who have the worse records in the second season) and all the same problems returned (passes dropped, shots missed, etc). So I again changed the difficulty to HOF and back, and everything was back to normal again.One thing I can tell you from my experience is that the difficulty spikes are real and temporary, I started my career as center on celtics(allstar/sim) and I think it was 8th game of the season. Bucks went off on me, ellis and jennings each scored 40 points, I scored 48 points, 16 boards, 4 assists, 3 blocks and we lost by 24
Then the difficulty resumed to normal in a couple of games. I would suggest play few more games and see if the difficulty comes back to normal, also change the difficulty and save the game, see if that makes a difference ( e.g - change it to HOF save, then change it back to whatever your using then save again. that might reset the difficulty).
the thing about pierce, garnett and terry missing their shots has to do with their age( you did say in your second season), so their attributes wont be as good b'coz their old.
Got two new questions now:
1) I'm in my second season with the Celtics and have the option to extend my contract as it ends this year. However, I have read reports of this causing game freezing issues (I'm on PS3 if it makes a difference). What/when/how is this specifically triggered and how can it be avoided?
2) How on earth does one do a steal? I've been trying and I get the reach-in-foul quite often (I don't spam the steal button, but try once or twice when a player is just bouncing the ball on the spot). My steal attribute is 65-70 and I've got the pick pocket skill. Do I have to position my player in a certain way (I stand right in front)? Or am I doing it at the wrong moment? So far I've only managed them by chance when defending, not through using the steal button.
