Can anyone help me?? I was in my 3rd year in MyCareer and when I asked for a contract extension the game froze. Now everytime I try to play a game in my MyCareer, NBA 2K13 freezes...HELP

Nothing anyone can help with. Its a known glitch. You cant resign during season. Have to wait til season is over and do it in offseason. Hope you weren't too attached to your player.

My GM just asked me 5 players who we should trade for. Since Hickson is used to starting minutes and is unhappy and Nolan Smith is gonna test free agency i think i should target a C and a PG, but at the same time, i would be devastated, if we lost Aldridge,Batum,Matthews,Lillard and even Babbitt. So could you guys suggest some good solid bench players with low trade value?

Man Andre Drummond and Anthony Davis miss to many dunks. I lob perfect passes to them and they catch it but blow the effin dunk Smh...

What team are you on? I think that has something to do with it. When it happens, is your team on a cold streak? That happens to me. Rudy Gay gets a steal, takes it all the way and blows the dunk, but only when we haven't scored in a while.

I play PG on the Hornets. That would make since although it's a kinda lame way to balance field goal percentage. Dunks simply aren't blown nearly as much IRL.

Th GM never asked me but I wonder the same for the day he'll do.
I'm in the Blazers too and IMO a scorer from the bench is highly needed.
But not a star of a big player or you'll lose you good players.
I wonder that for a few days now and have no idea!

No answers about the "what will happen as I'm selected for the slam dunk contest but I don't have the DLC? (will I automatically finish last?)

start an asscociation with the team u control and go to trade finder than find all of the 1 star players that u like for the positions that u need. and see what it is they may have to trade to get that player. Because that is what they go off of whatever the trade finder says to get those players.

I'm in my second season with an athletic PG averaging 37 pts, 4 rbs and 12 assists a game. I'm on the Knicks and everything is going perfect, we are 41-3 so far and on a 28 game winning streak. and yes, i'm on hof, we have a beastly team since we got Kris Humphries in a trade

so anyways here's my problem, ever since the second season started there have been absolutely no injuries to any player in the leauge, it's just been empty since then. I know this isn't a big problem but it really bugs me at times.

So if anyone has had that glitch and knows how to fix it or even just has an idea that'd be greatly appreciated.

I feel like a little Kid im so excited i never made a SG before only played with PG or C ( but i decided to make one seeing as thats the only position that my favorite team #BULLS need) just made one today and played in the rookie game just to see if it would be fun because i thought playing off ball as a backcourt player wouldnt be fun but i loved it i scored 27pts had 7asts and 2stls I got drafted to the SAC Kings i basically fouled out the first 5games just so i could see if they would grant me a trade request to my CHICago Bulls and they did and all the Bulls had to give up to get me was a 1st round pick. IM so excited cant wait to after the trade dealine and that roster update.


I have over 40,000 VC saved up from playing 12min quarter association games. And now i cant wait until 2/21/2013 and the roster update that comes after that if any trades are made so i can start my new Career mode and help my fav team win a championship. Me and D.Rose and Noah and DENG BANG. PLush Boozer Gibson Butler Teague Hinrich Robinson awwww this will be a dream come true.

Because i havent played a MyCareer mode for the Bulls since 2k10 when i made one and got traded to the Bulls became the starting pg and they moved D.rose to sg which i hated so i promised i would never play for the Bulls again as a pg. since they have always had D.Rose since than i have never played for my Fav team in MyCareer mode and since i always thought playing SG wouldnt be fun i never made one and just stuck with C and pg. But im so excited to find out that SG is fun and that now i can get my PLayer on a team i actually wanna be on. Its ridiculous im more excited than a Virgin thats finally about to get him some.

Well once the update after FEB 21st comes i will be updating u all quite a lot about my Bulls Career and quest to win a title

Until than i will be playing Madden 13 or NHL 13

Probably will have to wait to get it patched

For me at ASW all the injured players are magically healed even if they're supposed to be done for the season

I have another question about the defense in this game.
We (Knicks) have a very good defensive team being me (PG, 99 on ball D and everything, Defensive Anchor lvl 3 and Lockdown Defender), Iman Shumpert, Carmelo, Kris Humphries, and Tyson Chandler who also has Defensive Anchor. So basically we should be great defensively but for some reason i just can't quite figure out our opponents average like 115 pts a game.

Now I know all the tricks and stuff to play good D at the PG and i don't get scored on a lot but no matter what team we play it seems like no matter who throws up a shot makes it. They're shooting around 60% every game and this just sucks

I figured it might be because the game wants the games to be kind of close so when we score so much (130pts a game) they just need to score a lot as well, but i don't know.

I'm playing on Hall of Fame with 12 minute quarters and we still win 90% of all games but I would like to put a little more Emphasis on Team Defense

I just tried to imagine IRL what it would be like my player in the SMC! I'm a center who does no spectacular dunk. I may dunk a lot compare to other players (don't know, I don't have the stats), but I'm a stading dunks guy.

So imagine the player, at the SDC, going under the basket. The commentators like "What is he getting ready for?! Look at this ladies and gentlemen!" and the guy just jumping and dunking!
The judges don't even think about scoring it, and finally give 0 points!

Second dunk, I'm in the same spot. Lillard on top of the paint. A straight simple pass, I take the ball and just dunk.

lol would be hilarious

Is that on Default sliders? Have you tried setting it to Simulation?

Apart from that your scores seem pretty usual to me. Most of the videos I watch on 12 mins quarters display that many points. I play 10 min quarters to have the scores be a bit more realistic.
