Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
Damn this game is so unfinished (or finished by dummies)
I have an dynamic goal "do not let Love have the ball in the next possession".
The Wolves share the ball, shoots, the ball touches the rim, Love takes the rebounds. And the dynamic goal is failed. But the possession was over when the ball touched the rim!
It's thousand of small things like that and hundreds of bigger things that make this game so f***ing frsutratingComment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
After being down by as much as 13, we (Celtics) rallied back in the 2nd half and defeat OKC by double digits in Game 6 of the NBA Finals, winning the series 4-2 and giving Boston its 19th championship. It is also my 2nd championship in 3 seasons. I was named Finals MVP for the second time in a row.
Offseason was really nice, and strange at the same time:
Clippers won the #1 pick and drafted a 75 OVR PG.
John Wall joined the Cleveland Cavaliers. Seriously though, the Cavaliers are the weirdest team in 2k. They had already signed Chris Paul and put Kyrie as a 6th man (he won 6th Man of The Year twice) and now they sign John Wall. Now they have 3 star PG, with CP3 starting, Wall 6th man and Kyrie role player. This is crazy.
Kobe Bryant is a 87 OVR at age 37 and... he signed with the Blazers.
Other than that, no other major moves were made. Anthony Randolph, a 84 OVR joined the Celtics, replacing KG who retired. Paul Pierce hasn't retired yet, thankfully.
During FA, I decided to resign with the Celtics and signed a 5 year/3140VC contract with a player option. I was quite interested with the Bucks, which featured Jennings, Ellis and a 80+ generated SF. However, the Bucks offered me less money than the Celtics, so back to the Celtics I go.
The Thunder started off the season #1 in Power Rankings, with my Celtics just below them at #2. I wonder how my Celtics will fair this season.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
I don't know in what difficulty play
In All-Star, I beat everyone by 10 to 20 points (including Heat)
And in Superstar, I am -30, -35 against Raptors or Knicks
I guess I'll go with Superstar but damn, if I have to get pissed and lose badly every game...
EDIT:
Yep, no fun in taking a beating (-20) by the Warriors and playing more than 45 minutes...Last edited by Romano338; 02-09-2013, 11:44 AM.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
Last night my 6'5" lefty scoring PG Riddock James went number 1 in the draft. I had 41 points, 13 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 turnovers. My three draft interviews were the hornets, bobcats, and the wizards. It was by far the best showcase game ive ever played. I even got a A+ teammate grade. I still can't believe I went number 1. They projected me to go to the wizards so I was expecting it at all. Every other time I've been drafted I always go after my projected pick.Comment

All-star is really easy but superstar I miss wide open shots all the time. I always switch between them. What should I stick with?Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
Thinking of starting a MyCareer with a PG but this time I am not trying to go for the #1 overall pick.
* What play style should I use? (Athletic, 3PT specialist, etc.)
* What are the best teams for a PG to get drafted to?Comment
