Created 6'7 Point Forward and had GREAT Rookie Showcase. 18 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. Getting interviewed by Kings whom I declined, Cavs whom I said YES! And Portland whom I'm gonna declline.

First game -11 minutes, 5 points and rebounds, 3 assists and a block. Shot 50 percent. Dominique Wilkins is already riding my D on twitter.

Question:

I've deleted my previous mycareer data because it would freeze after the contract extension.

I have two new ones now, a defensive SF (for blacktop), and a 3-point shooting SG (still trying to get that hall of fame trophy). I calculated that I can get that Hall of fame trophy with my SG in 2 seasons (before the contract extension) IF I play every game. Problem is, after about 30+ games, it gets boring (12 min. quarters).

My question is, has anyone figured out a way to avoid the freeze glitch? If so, how? I'm really itching to play only key games if there's a solution.

I'm so done with 2k13 MyCareer. I don't get it. My player is literally maxed out in 3pt shooting(and EVERY other rating for that matter) and he is awful at 3's. I am 0 for my last 14 3s over a span of 4 games and I'm 7 for 29 in the entire playoffs and im now in the WCF. The three point shot has always been a staple of my game. But now it's gone. Does anybody else have this problem? I know it probably seems like I'm a 3 pt cheesier angry at the game because terrible shots aren't falling but now I will not shoot threes unless I'm wide open and they still will not go in.

Well i bought NBA2k13 just yesterday believe or not, and i just played MYCareer after the Rookie Showcase and i'm done, its too hard for me on the difficulty levels. i can't shoot i never get A's or B's :\ i wished it had rookie difficulty level in MYCareer mode

Experienced the same thing in 2K12, where my 3pt shots went awful when maxed out. Possible workaround is to change your shot release to one that will let you knock down those babies again. But I discovered that some great 3pt releases are not so suitable for mid-rangers, so you have to test them to find out.

Appreciate the help, I've tried switching my shot many different times, nothing. I've accepted the fact that I just have to be a slasher which isn't a problem. (Just dropped 71 on a 0-3 3pt outing) but I wish I was able to make wide open 3s

Ok so since i can't lower the difficulthy from pro, is Sim or Default easy to play with? or which one is easier to do?

My season stats:
26.7 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 7.1 APG, 1.0 SPG, 0.4 BPG, 2.8 TOPG

I'm an SG in my 3rd year if you guys are interested, by the way.

I played my first game with the Bulls, we came out on top of the Jazz (113-110) in OT.

My stat line was 22 points, 3 rebounds and 9 assists. Rose had 39.

hmm this has not been my experience, but rather the opposite. With maxed 3pt shot, shoot in traffic, shoot of dribble, and shooting specialities (spot up and deadeye shooter) you become arcade-like unstopable at draining the trey, even with the defender in your face. Try a scoring build, rather than the 3pt specialist as they can get to 99 shoot in traffice (which is pure serving of wine and cheese to the other team).

I am in the playoffs with my Point Forward SF with the Rockets. Playoffs have been interesting. The #6 Nuggets took out the #3 Clippers and the #2 Thunder before losing to my Rockets in a 7 game Conference Finals.

In the east the #3 Bulls have taken out #2 Nets and #1 Heat. Finals are my Rockets vs Bulls. Should be a fun.
