Is there a way where I can Download or Copy a My Career file with accesories in it? I am an offline player and it sucks that I cant edit my accesories...Would be a BIG HELP to other offline players

Not sure if I'm fully understanding your question correctly, but the only way to get accessories for offline or online is the same. It's in the myplayer screen on the left side of the main screen, and you can only use vc. So if simply do not have an Internet connection I believe there is no way to add accessories, if you do, and have a smart phone, just download the mynba2k app and earn vc to use to buy your accessories. The accessories added in myplayer will be applied to all mycareers you have with that myplayer. If you don't have an Internet connection therefore no access to vc than you are out of luck, you can't get accessories.

This is a big flaw 2k did think about when creating this new design.

I've tryed Mycareer today. It's amazing how easy and boring this mode has become. Played two games, I averaged 15 assists in less than 20 minutes. Your teammates basically make everything and run into the lanes so easily. We blew out the spurs 130 to 100 (I'am a pg for the hornets).

What difficulty do you play on? And do you use sim or default sliders?

I'am on superstar sim. It's a feeling I had when playing like there was no way we could loose. Scoring was incredibly easy compared to online games on hof sim.

With the online players cheesing and whinging their way through each online game, I feel it is the most predictable and casual orientated mode there is. oooo, my oponant is spamming the steal button... whine .. oh no, the eurostep.. that is sooo unfair and unrealistic... moan...

Thanks for the input. I've always had my doubts about the stealing sig skills as stealing seems a lot like blocking, more about timing than anything else, especially now they've turned up the reach-in foul rate. It'd be helpful if someone has checked out if there's a difference post-patch.

Ok so from what you guys are saying Interceptor is not really worth it if you have 90 vertical and 80 steal. It wouldn't make you go from 1 steals to 3 steals a game?

In what situations can I reach in for a steal without getting a foul called? I was never one to spam steal, but when a big man has his head away from me holding the ball why can't I as a PG come up and steal it from his hands?


Plus someone said Scrapper is worth it as a PG...is this true? I had a Mycareer PF and scrapper was great in the 50/50 balls, I find a lot of times my PG will boxout a bigger guy but still get the ball ripped from him, is scrapper worth it if your rebounding attributes are low?

This was patched due to online players whining about people spamming the steal button. The reason you can no longer have a realistic experience is because of online whiners.

It is much easier (for me) to do nothing but play the passing lanes and get steals that way then to even threaten a steal the direct confrontational way.

I am the one that most likely said scrapper is worth it. I use that sig on all my players and I feel it helps in all the different situations that you'd expect from that position. It does not prevent Kevin Love from taking the ball out of your PG's hands, but it does allow you to get to a loose ball that took a weird bounce towards the baseline and to contest it with love there.

So even if your rebounding is low, you'd recommend it for PGs? I know I'll still lose rebounding battles, I'm just talking about boxout situations and having a little more success grabbing the odd offensive board here and there.

I rarely add points to my rebounding attributes as a guard ... and I still average 6.5 boards a game (5 year average). I think my rebounding is in the 40's still.

Most of the rebounds are defensive still ... but I do get 1 or 2 a game usually. I think rebounding is still problematic in 2k13 and we can only hope 2k14 is better.

I'm the same way. I've found rebounding is mostly just like real life, it's more about positioning than anything else, and vertical helps as well.

I completely agree it's the same thing on HOF as well..default and simulation aren't much different in that regard

The mode wasn't built for more then a season in my opinion
