Leading the team in scoring and rebounding, getting triple doubles and I go from 39 mins to 17. Then my 3rd press conference about finally becoming a starter, yet I get 19 mins as 7th player etc..

I just seem to top out with 30+ mins then get benched and work my way up again and get dropped again. Getting old

Athletic PG drafted 8th by the BORING Raptors

5 games in requested trades to Mavs/Hawks/Miami for some reason the Nets and Wolves are interested in me.

My scoring pg got drafted by the Raptors as well, but I am enjoying it so far so I will stick it out for a while and see how it goes. Big guys that can shoot make for easy assist lol.

I started off playing mostly at sg but have been getting more time at the point including playing point during the end of close games. Only issue I have is when coach decides to play all 6' 0" of me at pf. I had to try and guard Kevin Love wtf? Just call. a double team as soon as he gets the ball and hope for the best. It does make for easy points at the other end as there is no way he could stop me when I drag him out to the perimeter.

the Gm asked me who to trade for during mid season and i got STAT to come to new orleans.. finally got rid of gordan!!!

You've already got Ryan Anderson and Anthony Davis as the big men, don't know if Amare Stoudemire is necessary to be honest, and I think Eric Gordon is a pretty significant piece to the Hornets, unless you're a SG, I wouldn't want him to be traded away.

When I get home, I'm going to try & get a trade to Washington. I want to try & beat John Wall for that starting spot.

Anyone else find it annoying that the only shoes you are able to wear until you get a shoe contract is those lame *** generic 2K shoes. Its not like we are able to get contracts from other companies besides Nike & Jordan, so why can't I wear the Converse, UA, Reebok, Adidas or Spalding kicks. Maybe this is just nit-picking but its damn annoying to me.

Off topic (well kind of) but I'd like for NBA 2K in future to make it where other companies besides Nike/Jordan are able to sign our MyCareer player(s) to shoe contracts and the companies will try to outbid each other to have you as a player on their brand. And you can leave your contract early but you have to pay an exiting fee and certain companies will pay that fee for you to have you on their brand.

so got to the all-star weekend, played the rising stars challenge, the stupid slam-dunk contest and failed miserably.

i was supposed to start the all-star game, but when i pressed play next game, it simmed to the end of the season LOL LOL WTF!?

i did manage to win the MVP/ROTY awards, and got my Nike signature shoe.

you actually get bugger all VC for winning the end of season awards which is a shame.

my popularity was at 93% before ASW, but when it auto-simmed me to the playoffs, it dropped to 70%. :S

so many bugs with this game its not even fun anymore.

Exactly the same thing happened to me last night!! i love this game but it is frustrating the **** out of me!!

14 games into the season with my Hornets PG. Signed with Nike. Averaging 17/4/9 on 58% shooting. Ryan Anderson and Al-Farouq Aminu were traded to the Sixers for Jason Richardson and Dorell Wright. I requested Wright in a trade because Eric Gordon is injured and I didn't have any shooters. Didn't wanna get rid of Anderson though :/

And Gary Payton is now following me after getting 6 steals in a blowout win over the Jazz

As we hit a losing streak, we are still around .500 in the first 10 games, but I sat down with GM to ask about possibly getting some players. I want to replace Aminu, and asked for some SFs:

Wilson Chandler
Gordon Hayward
Luol Deng

I've been averaging 14 PPG, 7.4 APG, 4 RPG in 22 MPG off the bench; my minutes are quickly creeping up behind Greivis Vasquez, and I expect to be a starter in the next 3 games!

Alright, I've made a few posts about my annoyances. I'll recap my first player and my first season from memory so I apologize if I'm not as detailed as possible.

First player I started was a 6'6 PG. I used to play like this on 2k12 because I wanted to be a Jordan-esque dunker with Magic Johnson passing and had a blast dominating smaller PG's in last year's game because the teammate AI was so terrible.

Anyways, was drafted 20th by the Nuggets, I can't stand Denver (the actual city, not just the team... lol) so I got traded to the Knicks. After playing like 3-4 games and getting like 31 minutes only to put up a triple double and LOSE 4 minutes because I had a bad play at the end of the game I lost my sh*t and got traded to the Mavs so I could start over Darren Collison and play for my actual real life favorite team. But I kept getting the same thing, I could put up 20+ points and have like 10 assists and I would have a few bad plays down the stretch to try and win the game and coach would bench me and I would lose minutes.

So I kept trying and finally got the starting job in February, a few weeks before the rookie game.

I played a few games as the starter and was doing well, got invited to the Rising Stars game and dominated.

After this, I was on the bench AGAIN. Anyone else experience this? I remember last year in 2k12 it ALWAYS benched you after the all-star game. Anyways... I got so frustrated I threw my controller at the wall and broke it, so I had to buy a new controller. Couple days later I came back and finally got my starting job back after like 6 games. All the while I'm averaging probably an A- teammate grade and a double double. I went on a 5 game losing streak (On All-star) and decided that I would simulate to the end of the season to start the playoffs because we were the 6th seed and had like a 4-5 game lead on the 8th seed with like 9-10 games left to go. After simulating till the last 2 games I had a key game against the Grizzlies for a "playoff positioning" or whatever and I was the 10th seed. So I thought "hey, if I win, i get in." So I played my second to last game and simmed the other one. The fact that I missed the playoffs wasn't what irritated me beyond belief. It was the fact that I got snubbed for ROTY and 6th Man because I didn't play a few games down the stretch, so I probably missed out on a good decent portion of SP (I'm playing offline right now cuz my internet is cut off) and I missed the playoffs AS WELL.

So I started over as a 6'1 PG and got drafted by the BLAZERS. Oh yeah...

Played 1 game, had 15 points and like 3 assists. So I simulated till my next key game to ask for a trade. I asked to be traded to the Knicks, Magic, or Lakers(I don't care, I'll sell out to win games till I can get my PS3 online and actually be able to upgrade my character at a decent rate.) Got traded to the Magic and had a 14 pt, 3 reb, 9 ast, and 7 TO game in my first game with the Magic.

I think I might stay with the Magic if I can stand losing because at least I'll be the core franchise player instead of any other team that I could go to. Maybe get a trade for a Josh Smith or a Javale McGee, someone I can oop the ball to.

I dunno... I hate playing online cuz my dude sucks so bad and it's almost impossible to get your dude rated any semi-decently because they give you dookie for SP like they do VC.

Any word on when the new patch comes out? I can tether my phone so I can get the patch, I just can't sign into playstation network so I'm going to have to wait till my internet comes back on to get the new rosters.

Ok so I finished my rookie season with DAL at 28-54. We got the #1 draft pick tho(they drafted a PF). Also, we signed Greg Oden and Baron Davis during the offseason. O.J. Mayo signed with CLE. I'm SG, so Mayo leaving is a good thing. So coming into my 2nd season, I'm a 92overall, 3rd best SG in the league. I led the league in scoring and steals last season, won various awards, and I'm still labeled as the '6th man' lol, oh well. So I tried to hold out starting a MyCareer until the courts were updated, but I said screw it and finally started today. I've read a few pages here and seen a few guys bring up this question, but haven't seen any answers on it. Can you not get your accessories in team colors? The crappy 2K generic shoes I'm stuck wearing until I get a shoe deal stay one color and looks ridiculous with the rest of my Houston Rockets teammates and the socks I'm wearing don't change color. Everybody else is rocking black shoes and socks while I'm sitting around in white. WTF #1.

I bought myself a small arm band and a double rubberband and neither of those are in team colors. WTF #2. Is this how it's going to be in this mode moving forward? Just an oddball from the rest of the team's looks?
