Yea and the trade logic will try it's best to honor your trade requests but will get best deal for themselves so it'll stay away from bloated contracts then look for best player available within the OVR rating of the player you want, then add draft picks when applicable.

I've played Small Forward (All-Around) the past three years and love it. I just love the versatility.

I started out as a roleplayer, setting screens, knocking down open jumpers, playing defense and grabbing the occasional board.

I've progressed to a 22-8-8 nightly triple-double threat in the mold of LeBron/Durant/Carmelo as the offense now goes through me.

The versatility of a 3/4 (I went with Durant's height/weight) makes it so you're never too far "out of position" on defense (or offense for that matter). Get your speed up and you can adequately match up with any player 1-5 and not feel ridiculous (i.e. a 6'0" PG playing C or a 7'0" C playing PG).

Playing the Small Forward allows you to mold to the team in that if you have guards who are more scoring (like me with Harden/Lin) you can be more of a facilitative point-forward and adapt to the needs of the team.

I like running the offense when I feel like it not because I have to. I feel like I have too much control with a PG. Similarly I always play running back in superstar mode.

The PG position is the most stacked with talent in the NBA, so there are few teams that NEED you and it annoys me starting over an established star. The Center has NO competition except Howard. The 2 guard is shallow as well, just not nearly as bad. I like the SF because the top two franchise players in the NBA are 3's. That position is the most top heavy with elite stars, but there are a lot of teams that could still use a franchise three to compete with them.

Thank you for your answer, I will definetely try that... SF was my first choice back in 2K10 and I loved it but I wanted to try something else. Do you think all-around is good at everything but can't really master something?

Play simulation all star it's the best thing to do on this mode you get the most realistic stats and gameplay

While i would like sliders in this mode but then i don't just because as somebody already said people would max everything up for their themselves and lower the CPU's sliders.

sorry if this is already in here 300 pages is a bit much to sift through.

I am a SG and am near 1 90 overall just starting my 2nd season with the suns. im open to staying with them but only if we can land another player that can help me win titles. i was just swept by the heat in the finals (although i only played key games and we were down 3-0 and it just didnt work out) i would like a guy like bynum or kevin love on my team. i was wondering if anyone knows how free agency works yet and what kind of teams would be looking to signing me

You're not able to look at free agency until your 4th season. The team will pick up their option on your contract for your 3rd year.

Then the teams that will look at you for free agency is just random.

I dunno, I love the moves my GM made, but I wasn't asking for studs either. I was looking for young pieces with some nice upside to fill some holes. I already decided that Harden would develop into the Wade to my LeBron and Lin would be our third option.

1st round pick for Big Baby: Great move that anchors our defense since Asik is criminally underrated and gets no playing time as a result. Also, as a playoff-calibur team (4th seed at the break and rising) our pick won't be that high and we won't get a player of his calibur.

Terrence Jones and Chandler Parsons for Andrea Bargnani: I LOVE this move. I love Chandler but he's redundant with me there and often had me playing out of position at the 4. Bargnani was averaging 25/8 when traded and I can play off his unique strengths well. Both guys I requested were perfect fits and we gave up fair assets to get them.

The AI logic would be worse if you landed a Gay, Granger, George, etc. and DIDN'T give up a DeRozen or Lowry to get them at LEAST.

Yeah but what I mean by the AI logic is that if DDR was playing as well IRL as he is in the game, the Raptors simply wouldn't make a trade if it means giving up DeRozan. Also, the AI only takes ratings into account and not on court performance. However, I do see what you are saying and I wish I would've requested easier targets like Dudley, Wright, etc. I'm hoping that they just don't make a trade at all.

I should've asked for Parsons lol.

My Suns team has fallen apart. They only win consistently if I play the games (as a 90 overall it is a little taxing and time consuming) I am contemplating demanding a coach change but am not sure how that will play out.

Just about every player on my team is expendable but some I would like traded are:
1. Michael Beasley- He's a good scorer but my guy is my offenses main threat so he just is added space, he isn't that good on defense.
2. Luis Scola- He is old for starters, a decent shooter to go to off double teams but again not great on D
3. Goran Dragic- He is a quality point guard no doubt, but I would like to see him moved
4. Channing Frye and Shannon Brown- Both are unhappy and not productive on the court.

I would like to get any of the following players
1. Brandon Jennings- In y game the Bucks got CP3 as a free agent and Jennings is reported as wanting out, me and him could fit well and I think the Bucks would take Beasley
2. Either Milsap, Jefferson, or Favors from the Jazz- They all are good rebounders and in my game the Jazz got Iguadala as a free agent they are stacked and a 92 overall. These three players are good rebounders which could compliment Gortat well and also quick enough for pick and rolls.

Are there any suggestions as to what I should do when I get the chance to suggest trades?

I had a 21 pt, 15 reb, and 4 blocks against Dallas after having a 10 pt, 3 reb, and 2 block 1st half. It was a game we SHOULD have won(lost by 7), but Im not mad(want that 1st OVR pick). We dominated all aspects, but lose the TO battle big time. I had 6 TOs. We had 17 TOs and they scored 20pts off TOs, which is why we lost.

After that game, it showed me that I HAVE to boost Ball Security. I am currently boosting Shot Med to 85(at 60), I already got Shot Close to 80. After that I will boost, Ball Security, Ball Handling, and Off-Ball Dribble

We have to lose our final game against Dallas to be tied for worst record in league, but I need to get a double double to get my 35 double double milestone. Charlotte is 23-59, we are 23-58. I would like to get the 1st OVR pick as long as it isnt a PF, C, or SG. I am on pace for that milestone, Shoot 80 FT% in a season, Shoot 50+ FG% in a season, Get Selected to All-Rookie team, possible All-Defensive team. I am locked for 3rd in Rebs(10.2) in league and can get up to T-5th in Blocks with a great game.

Made an All-around SF standing at 6'9 and I really like it... Completed the Rookie Showcase with 13p, 11b and 9 assists... Got drafted by the Pistons. However coach always gives me the PF position which I hate and also my teammate grade sucks... With my Center it was really easy to gain teammate grade by just pick'n'rolling. Now I struggle. Any advice what to do next? What sig move to get first?

After 15 games with my pg I have noticed subbing logic is completely random. Some games I will play a whole half while other I get short breaks.

My game won't stop freezing in the pregame load screen in MyCareer, I contacted 2ksupport but they haven't answered in weeks. This is SO frustrating, anyone else figure this out without having to contact them?

I'm not so sure about either Jordan or McGee. You'd definitely lose either Gibson or Noah in a trade for either big. But you might wanna get a second opinion from someone who has had experience with trades going through in MyCareer.

I'd say it's possible, nothing at all unreasonable with the players you requested. It's a good thing you don't have a problem letting Taj go because in every one of MyCareers I've made, he's always been traded by chicago, usually for a PG.
