finally made it to free agency, I ended up signing with the Pacers, probably the only team on my MyCareer that still has the same starting 5 (until I signed and became starting PG) as they did during my first season (george, granger, hibbert, west)

I love the closer on steroids sig skill for the entire laker team. Game 1 of conf semis in Utah. Back and forth game all game. 4 mins left lakers lead by 2. 2:15 left lakers lead by 18 and coast to a 12 point victory Lol gotta love this game!!!!!

Does anyone use the 2-3 Zone on Defense? I just crushed the Hall of Fame/Simulation CPU with it.

Had a +14 +/- minus rating, but the team only won by 111-103. Was up by over 20 at one point in the second quarter, then it got down to 13 and then I got subbed out of the game and the CPU was only down by 2 nearing the end of the 3rd quarter. Ended up blowing them out in the 4th.

The 2-3 zone makes it allot harder for the CPU to score in the paint and your team mates rotate through defensive matchups which makes it allot rarer for CPU players to be left wide open. Your team mates tend to pick off passes more often as well. You just gotta make sure you defend the paint while not leaving the closest player to you wide open and the CPU starts making mistakes.

Two games into my Cavaliers team and we are good, but certainly not great. My player and Chris Bosh make a nice team, but Waiters always tries to drive to the basket and misses or gets blocked and Mbah A Moute just can't do anything on offense. Still, we beat the Wizards and Heat to get to 4-4 this season. My old team, the Warriors are 8-1.

Yeah. Mbah a Moute is complete trash. Tell the GM you don't like playing with him. I myself for being a Bucks fan notice he's worth nothing.

I got a MyCareer Scoring PG. I'm in the middle of my Fifth season about to play the All-Star game and I've won League MVP and Finals MVP every year I've been in the league. I'll post more stats later today.

The Toronto GM in MyCareer is very pro-active. Out of the blue he trades Michael Kidd-Gilcrest (our starting SF and who he traded for DeRozan) for Kevin Love.

Which is nice, but still bums me out for two reasons... MKG was very fun to play alongside and now we have six (6) PF's, which means 4 of them are -10 attitude.

Starters are:

PG: Me
SG: Fields
SF: Budinger
PF: Love
C: McGee

I am a 90 and above and you were right. They traded Kyrie for me, which is not really what I wanted, so I never saved. Maybe I can sign there in the off-season.

I've wondered if it is possible in the game. Does the salary cap in mycareer actually matter since you're actually not getting paid with money but VC/SP?

I'm thinking of asking to be traded after my second year with my Warriors are done, and either request to be traded back to them before the deadline or just sign with them in the offseason. I love playing with my Dubs and would actually prefer to be a Warrior for life (they drafted me) but since I got that bug where your in-game attributes are lower than the ones on the home screen, and the only fix is ask to be traded, I think I got to do it or i'll just feel cheated out of my hard earned SPs and not enjoy the game.

I'm thinking of asking being traded to a team that has an aging superstar with a contract that expires the same time as mine? So hopefully they won't re-sign him and if the cap does apply, have space to sign me? Any ideas?

I hate golden state. I'm playing them in the playoffs right now, I just played game six and they would not miss, between Barnes curry and jack hitting almost everything they throw up and bogut and lee rebounding any missed shot and putting it back. I had to simply take over the game because we were down 15. I scored 56 pts in the second half, finished with 65 and had 15 3's (both are new nba playoff records. To win 127-121. I never had the lead until 31 seconds left in the game I hit my last 3 to put us up by 2, they missed their shot and it was free throws after that.

I can understand why so many people love playing on GSW. They are a lights out shooting team.

This. That's why it breaks my heart the only way to fix this stupid bug is to be traded. It's so dumb.

You have a regular contract you just can't see it. When you sign a new contract if you go to your team page in nba.com you'll see a news article saying how much you signed for. There's just no negotiation. The computer just basis it on your overall rating.

Yeah, the team is decent. We could really use a shooting SF like Budinger or a really good PG. I would love to get Harrison Barnes from the Warriors. He was great to play with. I like to drive and kick it out but I really can't do that with this team yet without good shooters. This won't be as easy as Golden State.

I actually like having Mbah a Moute on my team his lockdown Sig is great for helping defend SF like Lebron and Mello. My next favorite teammates were Klay Thompson and Faried but I play PG

After getting traded to the Jazz we started rough at first losing three in a row to Boston, Philly and Washington. The games against Boston and Philly we seemed to lose control in the second half losing by 10 in each, the game against Washington Wall exploded and we lost with the final shot of the game. I decided to sim three games against Houston and a double header against the Kings which we one 1 and lost 1 against the Kings and Won at home against Houston.

My last game was a key game against Denver and we blew them out by 20. I was able to do almost everything 24 points, 2 rebounds, 15 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Favors and Jefferson are so fun to play with and they are both monsters on the boards. In the three games without Millsap Favors has been amazing the game against the Wizards he grabbed 15 boards and scored 18 points while Jefferson had a career game with 48 points and 10+ boards and I don't know how we lost.

One problem I'm having is when my stamina goes down late in the game I can't seem to make shots its at 99 but still affects me.

Does the consistency attribute come into it because mines is only at a 65?

Also thinking about getting Marvin Williams traded because Hayward is stuck on the bench.

I'm curious has anybody broken any of Wilt Chamberlains NBA records other than the points in a single game? I can't imagine breaking his rebounding or free throw records especially some of his single season records. Steals is the only single season record I have but I have points, field goals, 3pts made, assists and steals single game records. I'm also still chasing my first 5x5 game as a 6'5" athletic pg I still can't get blocks I haven't figured out a trick to it yet.
