Has anyone been earning VC by using coach mode in Association? I thought it would be an easy way to get VC without really having to be in front of the TV and play the full game, my team won but at the end I gained no VC. Kind of a bummer. I'm on ps3, is this just the way it is?

I haven't tried coach mode other than quick play but I do earn about 625 coins a game for playing 10min quarters in association.

Hey I have started an Association with the Wizards and trying to get them into the playoffs first... Currently 1-1 after 2 (win against cavs, loss to Celts)

I first did a bunch of trades.

Wizards: Price/Vesely <> Pacers: Hansbrough/'14 2nd round
I feel I won here for sure, Vesely is very talented but extremely limited in ability as of right now (Can't shoot his way out of a paper bag). Hansbrough on the other hand is a scrappy bigman who shoots midrange and can snatch rebounds, he can spread the court which the team needs in PF/C

Wizards: Martin/'13 1st round <> Nuggets: Kenneth Faried
Again, I feel like I have won this one even though I dropped a very valuable pick to the Nuggets. Faried is simply put a beastly guy who can play the 3spot and grab rebounds like there is no tomorrow, well worth a pick imo.

Wizards: Seraphin/Booker <> Rockets: Parsons/Brockman
Semi-win, I give up a good but limited PF (Who got replaced by Faried), and I got a scrub (Brockman) and a talented number 3 who can both shoot and play defense very very well. With Ariza being a big contract and most likely going on FA again I will have the perfect replacement with Parsons...

Also signed Jonny Flynn to a 1 year deal to get a quick and lethal PG who can shoot from beyond the arc to support Wall, Mack doesn't cut it at all (yet).

The current lineup is something I am very pleased with...

PF: Nenê (80) 33m

The Bench:

PG: Jonny Flynn (75) 7m
SF/PF: Chris Singleton (71) 7m
SF/SG: Martell Webster (70) 4m
RES: Shelvin Mack (66)
RES: Jon Brockman (54) -Warm body-

Personally the team got a rediculous defensive presence with Ariza/Nenê/Okafor in the lineup and then also guys like Faried/Parsons/Hansbrough backing up...

I am still looking to make some trades though, personally I would prefer to trade either Nenê or Okafor since having two centers starting is a bit overkill, and to put either of them on the bench isn't in my best interests either.

If anyone got some tips on who I could go for and/or where I can improve the team still, I would love some suggestions. I am 3M above the cap so I am looking to get rid of a big earner and maybe add another kid to the roster.

Now do you guys see what I mean by people doing unrealstic stuff?

Now I have a dislike for people parading their own great teams through unfair trades found in trade finder, but in the end guys if that's how people decide to play the game, then leave them be.

I've started a sim-30 team control association. I'm going to playing games for the Raptors using Zeppellin's sliders in the slider forum, which if have GREATLY enhanced the gameplay for me and encourage everyone to at least check them out. Managed to beat the Pacers at home in my first game on a Kyle Lowry buzzer beater from 3 win 86-83. I managed to compile a mega run in the 4th quarter to come from 10 behind and complete the comeback.

I'm not looking to make any major trades, going try and build the team around a developing Valuciunas and Lowry. If I find a realistic offer for Bargnani near the deadline I would consider it, but I doubt I will.

YO can you play other CPU games in Association mode if you select them? Say if I picked the C's but I don't have a game today, can I still go on into that NBAcom sh*t and select other games going on today to play? I remember that was an option in 2k11, but then 2k12 simulated all the CPU games, anybody know?

Just because the CPU offers a trade doesnt make it realistic either. The cpu offers some of the most absurd trades anyway.

T-Mac is by far one of the best free agents to sign IMO. He's been good for 15-20 pts off the bench for me.

He plays at the 3. I try to revive his career and GS is the best place!

I loved T-Mac on my 2k12 Hawks association. If you can get him hot, he's pretty much unstoppable.

Won my home opener in OT and start my pacers association 3-0. Paul George was player of game for second game in a row although I would have voted for David West who was clutch down the stretch and ended up with 16 points and 11 boards. Guard play sucked again with augustine and hill shooting a combined 8-32. Esch. Although Hill came up with huge steal in overtime that swung momentum in my favor. Shooting needs to get better for next game at San Antonio. The first really solid team I'm playing this year.

I'm questioning augustine as starter... He is better passer but hill is better defender for sure. Any thoughts?

Started with the Suns, signed Tmac, played a few games then started looking to move players (Dudley, Oneal, Telfair) Ended up turning it into

PG- Dragic, Marshall
SG- Harden, Wesley Johnson
SF- Beasley, Tmac, Jones III
PF- Ibaka, Morris, Frye
C- Gortat, Drummond

Lost to the Lakers in the Conference Finals, but happy with the direction we are headed, starting my second season tonight

How many game seasons do most of you play? Going to reload the Bulls to help Drose get a more athletic title contender team once the new roster drops.
