I started an association with the Hornets and the team has a $10 mil cap surplus. I'm trying to build a team around Anthony Davis and it proved to be challenging at first but I managed it. Current record 3-4, playing on Superstar difficulty @ 10 minute qrts with Tomba's sliders.

Notable trades: E. Gordon and 2013 first round pick for A. Iguodala

Free agents: J. Flynn, T. McGrady, A. Blatche, J. Childress

Waived players: R. Mason and J. Smith

Iguodala's currently leading the team in scoring with 24.6PPG and 5RPG, Davis comes in second with 21.0PPG and 10.5RPG and Flynn in third with 15PPG and 8APG.

Trying to make the playoffs and win some more home games than last season. Currently our home record is 1-3 and we've won two tough away games against the Bulls and Rockets. Also I gave the Thunders their first loss of the season as they were on a 31 regular game winning streak continuing from last season.

I'm aiming for all-star appearances for both Iguodala and Davis as well as Rookie of the Year for the latter.

The team is very fun to play with.

why would you trade Gordon for Iguodala when he is a free agent after this season I believe?

I thought the same thing when I saw it, but as a Nuggets fan I liked it lol. As excited as I am to see Iggy on our team getting Eric Gordon and the HORNETS 1st round pick (which will probably be high) would be pretty awesome. Maybe he's looking for some cap flexibility.

First loss of the season against the spurs. Drop to 3 and 1. Hibbert went up against his mentor and got the best of him with 4 blocks and a solid game offensively while Duncan struggled. But wasn't enough to pull out the road win. After 4 games granger is leading scorer with 22 a game. First game that George didn't dominate but still had solid stat sheet with 14 pts, 7 assists and 5 boards.

Ha and if its annoying for me to post on every game I play I'll stop. I just like to keep track so I can remember my games when I look back...

Has anyone seen a live injury during an Association game? I have yet to see any live injuries as a whole, wondering if it's even possible at this point.

how is it running more than 1 team...I am trying to decide between My Celtics, the Warriors and the home team Bobcats...may run all 3 or for a challenge Warriors and Bobcats...suggestions?

Just started off my Association with the Toronto Raptors. I'm hoping to lead this team to the promise land in a few years with all the young prospects on the team (DeRozan, Ross, Fields, Val, Acy...). But anyway, I didn't want to blow of the entire team, because in my Sim ones I did for fun, my teams had 0% Chemistry and big time FA's left every season.

Only trade I did was Aaron Gray, 2013 2nd, and 2014 2nd for the Hornets 2013 2nd and 2014 2nd. Doesn't sound like much, and to some people, not worth it, but I find I don't have room for Gray. I was lucky to even find minutes for Ed Davis and Kleiza (15 and 11, respectively.).

Rotation looks like this atm:

PG Lowry 34 Minutes
SG DeRozan 32 Minutes
SF Fields 33 Minutes
PF Johnson 30 Minutes
C Bargnani 37 Minutes (I found that if he plays more than 35 minutes, he usually gets 25PPG, 10RPG... well, on 2K12 at least.)

Sixth Man: Ross 25 Minutes
7 Calderon 23 Minutes
8 Davis 15 Minutes
9 Kleiza 11 Minutes
Lucas, Acy, Valanciunas all 0 Minutes.

I only plan on playing 15 Games in the first season, including the All-Star Break, so I'm prepared to reload for S2.

I live in Oklahoma City so of course I am doing an association with my Thunder boys. I have everything basically on default except I am playing on all star and 5 min quarters and 7 min for CPU.

I picked up Terrence Williams from the free agency and he said he would sign for less for a chance at a championship so I got him for 1 year at $3.38M. I also had enough to pick up Kelenne Azubuike. I traded away a few players to make way for the new ones and to make sure my chemistry stays at a good spot.

Here is my current lineup:

Daniel Orton

I am 14 games in and ranked first in the power rankings and my division with a record of 11-3. Of the course the teams you can expect are right up there with me: Lakers 10-4 Bulls 8-5 Heat 9-4 Spurs 10-4

Durant is leading the league in PPG and Russell Westbrook is having an MVP season so far. We will see how it goes!

Just played the Thunder at OKC. Durant was out with a sore knee so that meant one less player to worry about. Up until the 4th quarter the game had been very tight.
Kemba Walker was dishing out some nice assists and Gordon and Kid-Gilchrist were providing some solid offence. Sefolosha (sp) and Cook were hitting crucial three's to spread the floor which meant Harden and especially Westbrook, were able to drive to the hoop numerous times.
Final seconds of the 4th saw us take the lead when Kid-Gilchrist hit a clutch layup. Though only a few seconds later the Thunder managed to score through a dunk by Harden after coming off a brutal pick by Perkins, sending the game into overtime.
Overtime was back-and-forth until about 20 seconds left when Westbrook put the Thunder up by 2 after some amazing quickness and footwork allowed him to get a layup and convert the and-one after being fouled by Walker.
With only 8 seconds left on the clock I called a time out. The in-bounds pass went straight into the hands of Ben Gordon, who stepped back and hit the game-winning 3-pointer!

Wow nice win. You must have been on the edge of your seat the whole game. With all those signature skills the thunder can be beastly

Now that the roster update is out and Teague is on the Bulls, I'll start my association.

I'm thinking that I'll lower D. Rose's overall and make him a reserve until the allstar break in order to replicate his injury in the game.

One person I'd like to trade for in the future is Tyreke Evans.
