Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread
Defeated the Timberpuppies 87-81. Rose was stellar, 19 pts, 9 assists, 3 rebs, & 2 stls. Deng was big with 18 pts & 12 big rebounds. Marco Belinelli chipped in 9 off the bench.
Peckovic led the Twolves with 18 & 10. Love had 10 & 8, he struggled with fouls. Rubio stuffed the stat sheet with 9 pts, 6 rebs, and 7 assists. Brandon Roy had a horrific night, 2/17, he was hounded by Deng and Jimmy Butler all night.
Up next, final game of home stand against Boston before a west coast swing.#HellaBandz

Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread
Went into Charlotte and got smoked by the Bobcats 103-85. The only good thing that can come out of this loss was the 21 point career high game from 2nd year man Terrence Ross.
Bargnani and Derozan each dropped 18, but on horrible shooting performances.
Kemba Walker led the Bobcats with 23 points and 12 assists. We could do nothing to contain him.
We shot a poultry 42% from the field and allowed the Bobcats to shot 25 free throws. This is the kind of game we need to just put behind us and focus on our next game at home against these same Bobcats in three days time.Comment

Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread
I started a Brooklyn Nets association, and the first thing I did was a four-team trade with the Kings, Pistons, and Grizzlies. To sum up the trade:
Humphries went to the Pistons, Gerald Wallace went to the Kings, Tyreke Evans and Cory Maggette went to the Grizzlies, and Rudy Gay was sent to my Nets. I also gave up my 2013 and 2014 1st round picks in the trade (to the Grizzlies and Kings).
FINALLY, I signed Ben Wallace and Michael Pietrus to round out my roster:
PG - Deron Williams
SG - Joe Johnson
SF - Rudy Gay
PF - Andrew Blatche
C - Brook Lopez
Bench:
Sixth Man - Marshon Brooks
Michael Pietrus
Ben Wallace
Keith Bogans
CJ Watson
Reggie Evans
My starting 5 (despite the presence of Blatche) is among the league's elite, my bench is deep, and Marshon Brooks has the capability of taking over a game when he comes off the bench.
My only problem (if you can call it a problem) is deciding who I want my primary scorer to be. Thankfully I have the luxury of being able to make that decision based on the team I am up against.
Currently I am 7-0 (5 of the games were simmed), and the team's chemistry is coming together nicely.Comment

Despite the fact that it was a four-team trade made before the newly-assembled Nets played a single game, I think that deal actually makes sense for everyone. Nicely done!Comment

Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread
Haha well I did play the first game of the season before I did the trade. After the 1st game I knew that I just couldn't stand having Wallace on my team, and Rudy Gay has always been my favorite almost-elite SF in the game, so I had to come up with something creative in order to get him on my team!Comment

Or, look for a team who needs a PF and has two good SGs or SFs (two so that you can take one from them without leaving them empty at that position).Comment

I mistakenly put 4-1, I'm actually 4-2. I lost to the Kings and the Thunder, and beat the Cavs, Hornets, Magic, and T-Wolves.
I would put together some trade similar to Boozer and Hamilton to the Nets for Humphries and Brooks or Humphries and Johnson. To get Johnson, though, you might have to add a draft pick or two.

I'll keep you guys posted on what happens. I'm not sure whether, if I make a trade, I should go for a guy like Evans who could be a legitimate second option (but that probably means Deng is gone), or go for someone a little worse (but possibly keep Deng).
Thanks for the suggestions though, the Nets would be one of the few teams IRL I could see going for Boozer (big market, "win now", owner who isn't afraid to spend, etc.)Chicago Bulls

Yeah, I'd like to trade Boozer to a team that needs a PF, but I also know that IRL there aren't many teams that would take on his contract. So if I do trade him I'll make sure the situation is realistic.

Just played timberwolves as well. First game I actually dominated the computer throughout and won by 14. Went to 5-1 and return home for two game stretch. Thinking about moving from superstar to hall of fame. Is hall of fame annoying on this one? Thinking about moving shots sliders down to 40 so computer doesn't hit absolutely everything...Comment

Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread
Do you have a great roster set and draft class you could recommend?? I'm a PS3 User...
1. Orlando- Maurice Harkless the beast from St Johns and the rest of the loser squad ever one can go besides Afflalo.. Get My Revenge On Superman And The Lakers!!! Lol
2. Detroit Pistons- I'm Hometown Boy and having Monroe and developing Drummond would be fun.. And B. Knight Is going to be a beast... But it would be a effortless association a couple moves here and there and we're back in the bright lights.. Lol
3.Milwaukee Bucks- Monta Ellis Contract Is Up And They Need Help In The Frontcourt here's where Jon Henson Enters..
Any Other ..Teams I Can Throw On The List I Love Storyline Of The Nba And Drama Im a realistic association player so my trades are going to be legit.. I just love doing rebuilds and have it interesting.. I'm leaning towards Orlando just because I want to have that young stud to build around any other teams you can think of place you inputComment
