The fact that the Bulls were the number one team last season with Rose missing lots of games proves he wasn't half as valuable as what people think.. The bulls defense as a whole has 10times the effect on their record than D Rose does..

And the best record thing shouldn't matter as much as is does in MVP voting.. It should be all about making the playoffs.. After that it doesn't matter at all because even though the bulls have had the top record they obviously haven't been the best team..

The record was the only reason Rose even won MVP... Undeservingly

That argument was so weak , Bulls won without Rose during the regular season with " Boozer , Deng and Noah all playing " plus the competition wasn't that good except for the Heat game . Oh and Rose got hurt against the 76'ers what happen Bulls lose in the 1st round.

It's not weak, my point is the bulls are still a playoff level team without Rose, what are they with him? Still only a playoff level team.. He doesn't take them over the top, and they don't falter much without him..

Look what happened when LeBron left Cleveland - that's what it's supposed to be like when you lose your MVP.. Take Kobe away from LA the past few years, take Durant away from OKC, you can't tell me those guys didn't hold more value that Rose did..

Never knew rose had so many haters and ppl denying the facts. I'm from Texas not even Chicago and down here we know he's the best pg in the league hands down. Only pg comparable to him is cp3 n maybe rondo just cause their passion for winning. And u see how he dominates them smh

My vote was actually for Howard, but I still had LeBron, Durant, Kobe ahead of Rose. He did nothing to show he was MVP worthy.. That's a complete joke.. He's the only PG since the 50s to win MVP without averaging at least 10 assists.. 7APG is not impressive MVP numbers, hell it's not even impressive for an elite PG.. Like I already said, his teams defense won him the MVP

Ok. They are both amazing players. Ask yourself this, does anyone in the NBA have higher potential than Russell Westbrook? I'd take Rose over Westbrook RIGHT NOW, looking 2-3 years into the future I'd take Westbrook. To be fair, I was born and raised in OKC and am a Thunder fan.

They're like the same kind of players you guys just respect Rose more because of his leadership and loyalty to Chicago.
Only difference there is, is the basketball IQ's and Rose is a tad bit of more of a true Point Guard. They still don't play the same though...

Yeah I would agree with that.. Rose seems to be smarter than Westbrook is.. He's more in control of his team and the tempo of games.. I was never saying that I thought Westbrook was better in my posts, I was just saying Rose is very overrated

Though I'm not sure all the rap Westbrook gets is his fault.. Apparently coach Brooks is just fine with him playing the way he does.. If its what your coach wants, why change it up ya know?

At this point I think Westbrook has shown he has the ability to take over a game slightly more so than Rose.. You can call it being a ball hog or whatever else you can think of, he still has the ability to completely take over when Durant is off..

Idk why I'm even posting this, I wouldn't take either one of the for my PG lol

Who in the right mind says they would take Rose over Westbrook? Neither of them are even pg's anyway..and for someone that relies so much on athleticism and speed, to destroy their knee, and you STILL think they're better than someone 100% healthy with the same stats???

Just look at Amare..same knee problems, after the knee came more injuries. Derrick Rose? How many health problems did he have last year? They just add up.
