If(when) CREW returns it should have a logo creater. Meaning on the front of the jersey in 2k10 & 1# there were random pictures like a bear,birds,etc & u just picked team colors. In 2k14 we should have a logo & the logo be created in a blank jersey & u decide were the # & logo go. Once u start making the logo we could yse different shapes,numbers, random nba stuff like a basketball, different player logos (made up) & we put them together to make 1 logo of our own. If you guys have played Black Ops 1 & 2, or even racing games like midnight club u have seen what people can do making things, give us 50 layers.

This way each CREW will be truely different. Think about all of the creative CREW names you will see. Somebody makes a mario logo & the team name is the Super Mario Bros(example) & the CREW gives tgeir my players unique last names on the jersey, like Mario,Luigi,Wario,Bowser, etc just to make things fun. There will be a lot if theme CREWS out there from games,Movies,Music,etc

Somebody makes YMCMB, & u get names like Lil Wayne,Drizzy Drake,Birdman,etc
It would be cool seeing what people could make

Logo editor(call of duty)

Arena Editor-lighting, fan appreciation nights, white outs/playoff atmosphere, mascot editor, Choose which city you're from, so during intros, halftime, end of periods you see aerial shots of your city(Madison square garden in bustling manhattan, Staples center, Downtown Miami)

Include your myplayers signature hi 5's and powder tosses in crew mode.

Matchmaking should be the most worked on feature....(EAC)Establishing a connection is the worst phrase to ever grace the screen of a sports title in the history of videogames. Make sure out the gate we can connect to other crews online. Have it like the ELO system of 2k6 & 2k7 where we can set up a match with anyone we want, but the more you play a higher ranked opponent the more you move up in rank, and the more you play lower ranked crews, the less you move.

I believe you should rank up as you play crew. I mean as far as your myplayer is concerned. Based off of how you play the game, instead of spending hours on end on your my player offline, why not make it so we can rank up our myplayers overall skill and signature play through the action we take during online gameplay? If 2K is going to be a sim basketball game, why not just take the RPG element one step further and immerse the players fully online so as not to make the game repetetive and boring during the my career mode. My career and My crew should have a closer tie in than what is available to us now.....Just my thoughts..

Chemistry-This should play a major factor in the game. Certain players after a while tend to know where each other is going to be on the court at all times, and when that certain bond is built over time, thats when some of the prettiest plays happen on the court. NBA 2K14 should embrace the chemistry built over time with players that have put in a lot of time and effort with certain my crew members. So lets say im recruiting for my crew, and i need a wing man to run with me. He and I will take some time getting to know where we like to be on the court at all times, so theres gonna be times where we make mistakes, or passes dont go through, or mistimed alley oops happen. But if i have a high chemistry rating with one of my crew members that we have over 500 games played together, than he and I should be working as one, and plays should reflect that chemistry we have. Sort of like how You see Miami Heat impromptu alley oops, or La Lakers showtime basketball, or clean pick and rolls, pick and screens, steal/blocks turning into fastbreak transition offense.

My Rival- Theres always that one team you cant beat, or that one guy who you know is just as good as you on another team, and every time you guys face each other, its gonna be a battle to the bitter end. For everytime you come across your Rivals, these games should have meaning to them, and at the match up screen, both rivals should place a friendly wager in VC and in bragging rights to determine who's the best.














LD2K, if you're reading this, make this mode a reality in Crew....this would make for so much replay value. This could be the best addition to crew in my opinion. I know you're just the middle man in the grand scheme of things, but i know your word still holds weight behind closed doors my friend. Do us a solid and spread the word to the DEVS. Thanks bro.

Hey LD2K, any news on crew mode? I know its a bit early, but i myself would like a heads up in advance that crew mode is returning this year or if it isnt. I despise the fact that 2k has waited til the last moment(if at all) to let us know what modes are returning. I dont think thats fair. In all seriousness, we deserve to know in advance what to expect months ahead of time. It's not like NBA 2K14 has any competition, so why let the cat out the bag? No one is gonna compete with 2k, so letting out this info early wont have another company rushing to implement crew mode as well....I mean, if 2k takes the stance that, theres a strategy to their marketing as far as when and how how they release their info on their upcoming games, cool. But it doesnt make sense that other companies can give their fans previews of whats to come 3-4 months before the release date. If not soon, You think maybe we can aim for an E3 2k14 crew mode announcement? After 2 years of having this mode omitted, and needing "enough time to fix a broken mode" or "Updating your online servers" dont you think it's time we get crew mode back?

P.s. almost forgot...if you're gonna bring back crew mode, how about doing what you guys did a few years back with NBA 2K10, and release a draft combine for about 400 MS points and let us create our guys, and have a myplayer pick up games with our created characters. Just Cap off the the ability to level your player at say an 80 overall so that by the time the game is released, we dont have to settle for being 65 overall rookies, and can actually feel like we dont have to play 3 or for 4 seasons to get our my players maxxed out.

If crew does return I just hope it isn't turned into some silly casual street ball game like blacktop. If it returns I want it to be a minimum like how it was in 2k11 at the very least with real teams, arenas, and with the option to choose your starting lineups.

Its only a matter of time before EA gets their act together and puts out a solid basketball game once again and includes something like crew in their game like they already have now in the NHL and FIFA games. So 2k better stop dilly dallying around and get to work on introducing this mode back into the game.

A really great online mode to play with your friends against other people is one area that has really been lacking in this game since crew was removed. It hasn't been nearly as much fun to play online like it used to be in 2k11.

this image may look like a cartoon and not so serious but I would like to share this wonderful achievement with the people. I've been through hackers in 2k11 crew mode but I actually didn't mind it because I beat them without hacks. basically what i'm saying is people who want an advantage because they're no good at the game do it. Since I havn't seen an hacker since 1974 I believe crew should be in the game along with a practice lobby for your team and maybe they add something were you can have a multiplayer myplayer so you can ride through myplayer mode with your friends. Besides, why not ban these ******s that hack?
MyPlayer should have playoffs.



In the picture you will see an 8'4 guy dunking the ball and ronnie 2k stepping in to prevent this dude from further harm of the game.
This guy goes by the name of Big Beef. Once he finds another hacker he argues so what ronnie2k is doing is banning this guy so nobody gets into an argument. If you beat this dude he will do anything he can to take you out of the game before receiving the win. he has a teamate named little porkchop which is 5'1 and his 42'5 brother which lags the game up so bad that it turns into mario kart. they tried banning him before but he was too big for the servers to ban so in this upcoming nba 2k14 they have a plan and that is too improve the servers so him his friends and mr. beanie weanie his 6th man on the bench, to not destroy 2k. This guy tries to promote hacking by infecting every guy that reads his gamertag, HACKER4LIFE423. his infection is just like in halo but you'll be infected with a hack that will soon turn into a virus and shut down. 2K Games will not be making their presence felt during E3...no big deal....Ronnie 2K says to look out for this friday, June 6 2013 for the nba 2k14 Launch trailer. I'm like ok.. I'm used to the hype machine starting around the finals, picking up around september, and at fever pitch 2 weeks before release.
My Question is, since NBA Live is coming out for next gen, and 2k finally has some(don't laugh) competition, when are we as a community going to find out if and when crew mode is returning? Do the devs think letting crew mode back will ruin the allure behind their product? It shouldn't be a selling point that a feature that should have never been taken out the game in the first place, so now 3 years later we're introducing it back. I think if that's the route 2k sports is going, that's terrible.

Thats almost like a small car company thats been selling cars for years, all of a sudden come out with best selling car in their history, and the following two years the cars that are released are missing the steering wheel, and then they want to re-introduce the steering wheel in their upcoming model as if that shouldn't be part of the car in the first place. Rough analogy, but hopefully you get my point.

Anyways, LD2k, my man....I've been proud to see you keeping up for the most part and responding to most of my posts. Any update as far a crew mode being brought back in 2k14?

Just some things I would like for a future Crew mode:

- If a human player fouls out of the game, he should be kicked out of the game. Period. He should not be allowed to just take control of the human CPU. That would punish people who just want to reach all game. Also, lower the maximum fouls to five, seeing as most games will be five minutes per quarter.

- Show the playart if we decide to call plays. Don't just show a bunch of flashing clear circles. Also, give us the option whether we want to see the play art or not. Some of us might be able to run our offense more fluidly if we just see what play is being called and just get into our positions.

- Give us the option to choose our inbound plays in a timeout.

- MOST IMPORTANT POINT: DO NOT let people take their offline MyPlayers online. I think this is what you were planning anyway, but this is just a reminder. All Crew players should all start off with the same low ratings. How should they be allowed to improve them? Well that brings me onto my next point, which is almost as important.

- 2nd MOST IMPORTANT POINT: DO NOT allow people to buy skill points or VC to make their crew player better. Not only does this mean that ppl shouldn't be allowed to use real money to make their players better, they shouldn't be allowed to use SP or VC they've earned from other modes. In fact, SP should NOT exist in this mode, and VC should only be used to buy player accessories (none of which you should provide any silly boost like getting Jordan shoes shouldn't give you +10 Dunk or Speed).

The ONLY WAY your player should be able to get better is through games, and to a MUCH lesser extent, pick up games. Each player should be able to choose their player's height, weight etc., but NOT their playstyle. All PGs should be given exactly the same stats, same with SGs, SF's etc.

Physical stats should be COMPLETELY randomised. In fact if it were up to me, I would have Crew be split into two modes, Arcade and Sim. On Sim, even your height and weight, etc. should be randomised, because in real life, you can't just arbitrarily choose your height and weight, can you?

The way the player should be able to increase his stats is to do particular things in a game, and those things should directly correspond to what stats get increased. So no more of this hitting 10/10 from 3pt and gaining SP to spend on your dunk rating. NO. If you do something like that from 3, you should get something like a +10 3pt rating. FIFA already does this with a "Be a Pro Mode", and WWE does something like this in its career mode, so 2K already has games to copy this idea from.

Ratings should also be able to DECREASE, if you have a series of bad games. The ratings should be DYNAMIC.

Oh yeah, another thing. NO signature skills on this mode WHATSOEVER. It needs to be completely organic. I want the CPU logic to interfere as LITTLE as possible.


This is what Crew mode, in a word, needs to be: COMPETITIVE.

It should not be another dunk and cheesefest. Nearly every online mode on this game is already that. 2K really needs to some original thinking with this mode, and be able to properly implement it on the first try.

There need be no more complaints of people complaining about having to play the CPU when people play off-ball defense, because this time they really will be going 1 on 1.

I like the idea of separate my players for online and offline. I think VC should ONLY be able to buy accessories and shoes. I mean, you're a scrub and you have to work your way up. The shoes should also cost more depending on the brand. Reeboks might go for like 1,000 VC but Jordans can go for like 5,000 to 10,000. If the shoes has an attribute boost it's gonna be like 15,000 to 20,000.
