This mode really needs to come back, late night games with my friends expanded the playing time for me. No matter whether we got blew out or a got a nice win, we always had fun no matter what. I would really like it back in.

Please please bring crew back. It was my favorite game mode ever and that was with the hackers. Without them it will only be better!

I would think that the VC system implemented would be a test for Crew mode. Logically, one can assume, that if it is indeed actually ever going to come back, now would be the time. The VC system was put to test, and passed. You can no longer cheat. I can live with the VC, even though people will just buy VC to make their players better, at least 2K is getting their well deserved profits in that scenario!

If 2K refuses to give us Crew mode back, then I propose 2 other options that would, personally satisfy me, although not as much as Crew mode.

#1: Give us freaking lobbies!!!! We need to be able to create a lobby, name is "Looking for 2v2" . This way we could take a friend or (friends) and we wait in my lobby for someone else with a friend and we can play a 2v2 match. THERE IS A HUGE SOCIAL COMMUNICATION BARRIER IN THIS GAME. There is no easy way to arrange matches online for 2v2, 3v3 etc, other than team up, unless you happen to have friends that are online. Give us a way to arrange matches, challenge other players, and groups of players (teams) in custom matches! LOBBIES make the most sense, but maybe the developers can think of something even better!

#2: Give us MULTIPLAYER ONLINE ASSOCIATION. By this I mean, have UP TO 5 human players on each team within an online association! The thing that lacked with Crew was there was no season, league, playoff aspect to the mode. With multiplayer online association, imagine how cool that would be, heck you could even have fantasy draft, and each human player on your team gets to hand pick (draft) their own player and backup!, even have an option to be able to include legendary players! It seams that this would be very easy to create, as the technology for 5v5 team up is there, along with online association!! An excellent alternative to Crew!

Bring this mode back. We haven't had it in 2 years, new consoles are coming, start it off right, with one of the best game modes ever created. To the guys at 2k: the NBA 2k series is almost perfect; the only thing it needs now is a revamped crew mode, and 2k14 will officially be the best sports game of all time.

I kinda feel like with how the next gen is going 64 players on battelfield, the joining of single and multiplayer in games like watch dogs, its almost like 2k has to bring back crew to stay relevant in the multiplayer next gen mold

Bring this mode back. We haven't had it in 2 years, new consoles are coming, start it off right, with one of the best game modes ever created. To the guys at 2k: the NBA 2k series is almost perfect; the only thing it needs now is a revamped crew mode, and 2k14 will officially be the best sports game of all time.

VC with crew IMO is something I wouldn't like, VC is already something I didn't like. The only way your player should get better is by playing games, Paul George didn't become the leagues Most Improved Player by spending 30,000 VC last summer on his mid range jumper. He went in the gym, (he's actually been in the gym) since his rookie year and put the work in there. So the only way we should be able to make our player better is by playing with our player. I remember when they first introduced Crew, the year it didn't really work I believe 2K11, you would get skill points after completing a crew game. You'd also get skill points for completing a pick up game, on top of the skill points you get from playing myplayer games. If I go into practice mode with myplayer just to get his release and timing down, isomotion moves, post moves, basically seeing what my player can do, while practicing, I should get points for that based on the amount of time I was in there.

People want to cut corners, spend $20 for gazillion skill points and call it a day... that's lazy. And then comes the "ain't nobody got time for that", well then you don't have time for Crew or myplayer plain and simple. Everybody wants to be the best (overall 99) but nobody knows what it takes to be the best, so we'd rather spend money than work for it, that's weak. The more time you put into your player, the more time you spend with your crew, the better you and your crew become. Hell, they should have a thing where the more you play with your crew, the more "points" you get when it comes to things like arena upgrades, as far as what floor you play on, the arena you play in, sideline colors, logo placement, etc. that way every crew is different and unique. To each his own.

There also needs to be a much stricter emphasis on height caps and attribute caps. For instance:

PG can be no shorter than 5'8, no taller than 6'2
SG can be no shorter than 6'2, no taller than 6'7
SF can be no shorter than 6'5, no taller than 6'10
PF can be no shorter than 6'8, no taller than 7'0
C can be no shorter than 6'10, no taller than 7'1

And then attribute caps need to be much stricter. If I make a 7'1 C, his ball handling should not exceed say like 55. Unless he's a shooting C, his mid range and 3-pointer shouldn't exceed 25 haha.

This is really just a suggestion for next-gen since 14 should almost be done.

I think they should just have the heights sorted by that positions lowest height to highest which im pretty sure they already have that. In Nba 2k11 I had a 7'5 Center 99 Overall [Legit] and it was really fun playing on even though I was matched up against 6'6 players. I can't really play long games either so the help with one minute quarters in 2k11 helped me a lot in myplayer mode. I can only get one game done on 5 minutes but in crew I would play all the time because I guess the competition and it was like I was on my own created team. If they could I would like to see one minute quarters for myplayer mode even if they put in a penalty for short quarters.

I honestly think height doesn't give an advantage so what I want is my player tall. but I do think to be fair to keep it like it is. this is how I look at it. doesn't matter how tall you are you still will be loved.

Any update on crew mode in 2k14

NBA Live will have a Crew mode. Needless to say I'll be taking my business elsewhere if 2k doesn't listen to their fans and include this mode.
