I still can't believe 2K actually threw this "Crews" Mode on the Blacktop. Can't wait to see how everything turns out lol.

Whether the games are played on the blacktop or in an arena its still going to be the same gameplay so I dont get why everyone thinks the mode is going to be terrible because of this.

But like Ive said in a few of my other posts. Im not big about presentation. So I could care less if Im playing on the blacktop or in Madison Square Garden. Neither changes the experience for me. And I play the game on mute most of the time so dont gotta deal with the terrible blacktop annoucer. Also thought 90% of the created jerseys looked dumb. Wish they would just let you pick an NBA jersey set to have as your crews baseline. Just my opinion but its clear a lot of people really enjoyed the customization so hopefully it returns either at the start or in a DLC.

Im still assuming that a 5 v 5 full court game they announced will consist of a ref and 4 quarters. If thats not the case then I agree its a joke

i can't believe ronnie's saying all of us "no crew no buy" people should pre order the game now after showing us that sack of crap. you slap the crew name on blacktop, and think that'll make us happy??

yeah i thought that was pretty arrogant when he said that.. especially since there is so much negative feedback and they wont show us the full thing yet,,it sucks i like basketball so much so ima get the game anyway but i hate having to buy a game from people like 2k an ronnie same with how i feel bout EA an madden i dont like EA at all but i love football to much to not get the game

Crew mode in blacktop isn't the same. I don't care if its in the arena but it better be 4 quarters, 5 mins. Long, hall of fame, and realistic fouls. Also I hope it's not like 2k13 where I can hit 80% of my 3s and dunk from the free throw line. I want to play 2k not NBA Jam.

Wow... So many people complained about not having crew and now you're complaining cuz it's not up to YOUR standards? Come on guys... Be happy it's back! Or.. Just buy next gen. I won't have money to buy a ps4 right away so if 2k14 can keep me entertained on current gen for 6 months or a year then I'm happy. This will definitely help keep me interested.

that's not crew, man. that's blacktop with the name "crews" slapped on it to sell copies. you can't tell me we're supposed to be happy about them taking 100 steps back from 2k11's greatest of all time mode. i'm coy to what they're doing though, i believe we'll get crew on next gen.

If 2k was making nba as a free game then we have no right to complain. But guess what , it ain't .

They're making the product for us , so we can say whatever we want. And when they give us s*** were allowed to say its s***. Simple as that

I bet nba live will have some form of crew, u see it in the fifa already. But gameplay wise live might not be so good. 2k needs competition BAD,

I am not trying to hear it. People in this thread keep telling y'all how it's not the "Crew" we wanted even though its an upgrade. Y'all keep posting the same thing. We explained how its not and y'all still don't understand so leave it alone.

All I can do is tell you is to ask yourself how would you feel if 2K made the regular games on the Blacktop? I bet y'all wouldn't be saying, "At least we have stats, leaderboards, and can play basketball". All hell would break loose. Y'all would want the atmosphere, commentary, plays, replays, animations when and all that other good stuff. Not going to change how we feel, we were expecting 2K11 type Crew.
