Starting to wonder if I broke the 'script' beating the Clippers last night, maybe .. replaying it now since it couldn't connect to the server.. in the new game the Clippers are dominating, I won by 9 last night.. maybe it couldn't connect because the Clippers were supposed to win?

I'm sorry but this shot clock cheese is real and very annoying to many times players have hit unrealistic 3s for the game in my face and i find it very annoying.

Can anyone tell me how many times you can do the Legend Training Camps. It says I have 5 left for this season. Can I do the same ones next season if I do them now?

So did most people just start of with the default roster? I waited last year until a custom one came out. I really want to start one now as I just got the game yesterday and can't be bothered waiting.

How is the default roster compared to other years in regard to player performance once you get up an running and are the stupid tendencies still there where I will have someone like Roy Hibbert chuck up a random 3?

The default roster looks good compared to previous years in regards to accessories though most players have branded shoes and such

Oh god, my advise is to stay away from the default roster. The CPU player skills /coaching tendencies are all screwed up and resulted in nothing but frustration for me. I restared my career again using Turty11's statistically correct roster (PS3, check him out on the rosters forum) and the game plays much better. The CPU play is noticably improved (both my team and opponets) with better shot selection and less 3 pt chucking. Scoring percentages are down to a more reasonable level (which is a good thing since you less feel like you are allways catching up to the super hot CPU)

I keep an eye on the roster makers forums, as I more look to them to improve the game experience than 2K developers.

Yeah, I was quite bummed about it. I think it is STUPID for them not to allow it regardless of position. My pg has the ability but none of my other positions have it. I always get my VC up and then take my guy offline so that I never spend the VC. I then save each type of guy with the full sp. I will take one of them and test out the court coach skill. If it ends up being true, double shame on 2k. So, of the 5 sig skills two are now the "have to have regardless"? I mean who does not take the Gatorade one? You are crazy not to. If you want to play REAL defense..aka don't leave the shooters wide open at the three point line...you have to blow 10k...freaking ouch.

I'll take 2k's side on this one for the sake of debate: For 10k last year the On Court Coach sig skill was almost worthless. Once you got a high enough teammate % they passed you the ball whenever you wanted anyway so you didn't need it. At least this year it's worth the 10k since you can call plays as any other position on the court with it. I'm about to get rid of the Gatorade sig skill, tbh. I'm playing 48 minutes now and I think that has something to do with it.

Does turning the sim quarter's length down lower the stats around the league? I generally play on 6 minutes because I like the shorter game length personally for my gaming, and it's pretty rough trying to keep up in stats with dudes who have 50% or more minutes. I know it doesn't change milestone/HoF requirements or anything but I just want to see my name up on those leaderboards in more categories because why not.

Hello everyone.

I haven't bought the game yet.
I would like to ask you if they solved some of the following bugs/glitchs of past versions and if they listened to some of the community requests.
Most are from My Career mode for PC, which is the mode I play mostly, but some of this errors also applyed to other game modes.

Depending on the answer I'll get the game or just patch and continue using 2k13

Bugs/glitchs:

- replay bugs: selecting Nike ID shoes only showed one dunk replay, after that it was always a black screen.

- 2 x 1 draft pick: the team that drafts you gets you and the player they originally would have picked (i.e. last year Bulls pick 30: me & Teague is also on the roster)

- Playvision didn't work on My Career mode. Had to use a workaround tool for it to show, of freeze the values with Cheat Engine.

- Signing a contract extention in My Career causes the game to crash/freeze.

- Twitter bug: after going over 1 millon followers your tweets were blank, they would return randomly, but then dissapear again randomly.

- Weird positions in game: CPU will asign you as C or PF when you are a guard, even while having back ups PF or Cs available.

- All Star voting bug: you were a sub even if you were the most voted player.

- Finals home court bug: lower seeded team had always home court advantage.

- No injuries from year 2 onwards.

- New rookies generated with minimum stats.


And now I ask for a couple thing we've been asking for 2 years. Has any of these been added?

- Home & away shoe colors for My Player like in 2k11. Your team mates switch from white + home team color to dark + away team colors, while your player is stuck with just one color. You have to switch them manually.

- Sliders inside My Career mode. The default sliders every difficulty has sucks. If you make your custom/realistic sliders outside that game mode, you are forced to freezes sliders values with Cheat Engine before entering the game mode.

- Be able to choose which home jersey (i.e. white or yellow for the Lakers) or away jersey (red or black for the Bulls) you want to use?

10 games into the TWolves season and Kevin Love has made ONE shot when I passed the ball to him.. ONE.. that was when I drove the lane and he was on the block.

Team chemistry is really hard still, can't get it above 64.. the team is 7-3 but when it loses it loses BAD.. and news conference question never allows me to answer it to get a good response from the team!

A few questions I would be much obliged if somebody could answer:


1. Is there any way to get gear (sleeves, headbands, braces, etc.) that match your team colors?

2. Is there any way to increase the attribute caps on things like speed & quickness? I'm an athletic PG and I think maxing out at 92 speed/92 quickness is ridiculous. I'm guessing there are some shoes that would help with this?

I'm pretty sick of missing(horribly sometimes, like barely touching rim) wide open A+ 3s from my right wing hotspot as a 92/92 shooter. I'm hovering around 50% for the season which sounds alright except I literally don't take the shot unless I'm wide open(with deadeye so I can be slightly lax on this, as long as they're sagging and the pass isn't slow I'm effectively wide open), and I'm rage posting this at halftime of a game where I'm 1/5 so far...

I know 3s were absurd in 2k13, and they still seem strong from the CPU(although that seems more because of sagging D, their %s aren't that ridiculous, seeing a lot of mid 30s to low 40s from the volume bombers), but it just sucks to see that A+ and have the ball not even come close to going in.

I was just on Pacers and yes that is very annoying even Danny Granger wont shoot wide open sometimes.

It's not even that. It's they can't even hit WIDE OPEN jumpers. I'm annoyed with this mode. Nothing really changed for current gen.

It's no surprise how challenging the opponent AI is in this game. It pisses me off to new heights that they sink 70% of their shots if their is even an inch of space. But! I am here for what is really upsetting me. Has anyone else had it happen where you lose out on SP? I played a key game against the Pacers where, after the x2, I was supposed to get 934, but I only ended up getting around 650. It's making me mad considering it's happened three times. I've already considered sending it back to Gamestop if it doesn't even start getting fun, but I don't want to. Help or advice on this supposed "bug" would be nice. Thanks OS.
