Anyone know how to get rid of that shot meter? Doesn't matter if I have shooting set to real fg% or the user timing one, the meter is still there.

Good question. Not sure if we can, I looked through all the menus.

I'm on HOF and I've got a 90 3pt rating (Max) and 90 mid range (Max) and my consistency is between 80-90 and I'm getting C- or D on wide open shots??

I am making a fair few shots and I get 2-3 perfect releases a game, but it's either perfect or C/D, no in-between. I'm even getting "bad shot selection" on some shots??

I notice that in myCareer during the second half, no matter what my stamina is at, it's always C- or below.

first of all i didn't play to nba 2k14!
For my part, i love this game but:

Jordan post moov and fadeaway are not good.
Really hard to play on superstar when kerr, kukoc and pippen are unable to score a 3 pt. Maybe 4 game in superstar level and 0/50 for Each players for 3pts!
Triangle offense are unplayable on superstar level because it is not the true triangle offense.

It is a shame because i love the ai:
I played against seatlle in superstar 12 mins, it was great even if i lost.
Payton is able to ask the ball to play at low post, kemp can make you a good turnaround jumpshot The same for the magic 95 and the knicks 95. Mason is able to be the initiator.
Hersey hawkins is not a superhuman, shrempf is less strong, only payton and kemp are the star. Ervin Johnson is really strong too.
The substitutions of ai are perfect! but not for us. If the bench is on the court, you can wait and wait and wait before Jordan, Pippen come back and i think it is a glitch!! i just have to call them to come back but i don't understand why it is not automatic!!
A lot of things are good in this game but it is really too hard to win without triangle offense. I really tried to play well, at the perfection, used the def settings correctly but there is something i don't feel.
It is a shame because i really love the good D, a lot of blocks but a lot of foul and it is really good.
Some foul are stupid when ai dribble to the baseline and he goes outbound and you are calling for a foul.
Rodman took me 17 rebond in my last game against the Sonics, it is a really pleasure to see him playing like that because in 2k11,12 and 13, it was really hard too see him taking so much rebond so it was not realistic.
12 Swingpost is different from 11 12 13. Before it was the real 12 swingpost.

A good new slider in profil coach, pressure far from the ball.

Post moov for Oneal, ewing, and center are nice.

Playbook for classic orlando knicks are really good.

I just noticed under game options before starting a game they have vip playback. Anyone experienced with the series have any comments on this? Is it useful?

Just to say that i begin to love this game.
Triangle offense are interesting even on last gen.
I think you can have exactly the same than NG.
The only difference is Jordan is beautiful on last gen and not on NG.
So i prefere stay on my ps3!!

I'm working on legend roster, suns 93, 95, rockets 96, spurs 95, bulls 96 with randy brown, bulls 98 with Burrell, Lakers 98 with Van excel, Utah 98 with B. Russel .... Maybe heat 97.

I begin to be more strong on post with Jordan, feel his fake, use correctly the triangle offense.

I just sucessed my first 3 pt with steeve kerr on superstar lol !!

I discovered some good triangle offense and used old system like "SAS" in 86 bulls playbook, i discovered too a good system which is a real triangle offense.

i still play 2k11 (had 2k13 but it got scratched) which i still enjoy allot but i kinda want to update it now because of the Rosters/Hornets

I caved in and ordered it off amazon for $40 i know what i'm getting doesn't compare to the next gen version but honestly nba 2k is the only game i play and i know that's blasphemy to some ppl lol but i feel i'll be happy with my purchase

Impressions:
The game is solid, gameplay has seen improvement over 2K14, modes not so much besides Crew.
Online Blacktop took a couple steps backwards due to the cheesy training boosts and jewelry boosts that pretty much make a mockery out of my player attribute "caps". This along with the shot meter exploits (half court shots? no problemo), and the mode has become a full-blown NBA JAM arcade mode. Avoid online blacktop if your desire is realism / simulation.

I think most of the people who are upset have '14 and were expecting a significant upgrade. But if you are coming from '11, you are probably in a different boat. And remember that Black Friday is just around the corner.

I think gameplay wise you will find it as a big upgrade coming from NBA2k11, and NBA2k13. Most had 14, and basically 15 is just 14 with a roster update, and a few minor tweaks, along with a glitch that ruins generated draft classes, along with the same old glitches that have been in the game for quite a few years now, either the devs dont know how to fix them, or they dont care to fix them, who knows since when ask they remain silent.

IMO Gameplay is the best its ever been, just remember when buying it is what it is, so if you expect the devs to fix anything, or patch anything, then you will be sadly mistaken. They never patched 14, so dotn expect 15 to get any support from 2k.

YES. I was afraid that NBA 2K15 was not going to be good. I thought I was going to have to put PS4 on layaway. I rented it from red box & man let me tell you. We back! If you change the touches & shot tend based off of basketball reference they play very well. Without that the CPU just jack up a lot of shots

the eye test... I review the stats, but lets be honest: this stuff gets way overblown here at OS. I watch a LOT of NBA games (I have the League Pass subscription - DirecTV and my iPhone). I watch where guys like the ball on the floor and take the majority of shots. I use common sense.

One word: I no longer have 2K15 - traded it in. Didn't like it - 2K should be embarrassed for charging full price on this. I'm just going with 2K11 this year, and I'm fairly certain (cough, cough) that this is my LAST year of roster editing...
