You are right where I'm at. I'm 42 - the 360 is my last gaming console. That's it. I'm done doing rosters and sliders, as I know the time has come. Both a fading interest and my schedule - like you... I am also disappointed in what these consoles have become. I'm a gamer. I don't need all these added bells and whistles in an "entertainment" console. I purchase my sports packages through DirecTv, and my wife gets our movie rentals through her Redbox account. I just don't want all that extra crap...
I purchased this game. I like it. I'm not nitpicky like a lot of people - I just want a solid simulation experience. This game provides that. It's like realizing that Gerald Wallace is making $10 million per year. Yeah, this game is a full-price cost - but such is life in the video game world. I work and have the money, and therefore I can justify the cost. I don't dive into all the modes as I mostly just fire up the game and play the "play now" games on the daily schedule. The rest doesn't matter much to me. I recognize that puts me in a minority, but this game is good enough - and an improvement on 2K14...
