Good lord this thread has 18 pages in less than a day! The sky is falling! (BTW, I'm not reading all of it!)

Seriously though, maybe with Live and ESPN both receiving low scores, it's a good thing in that sites are realizing that these games aren't "almost perfect" and can be improved upon in so many areas....

So is it worse to be a "geek" that moans about an un-just review, or a poster that instead of focusing on the review focuses on attacking the geeks that are on topic?

There are plenty of intellegent posts in this thread. Some of the posters even did some research to determine who was controlling what player, and why Sega's review was a hunt for negatives, while Live's was a praisefest; despite both reviews being released by employees at the same company.

No one is crying over it like a little girl, but they are acknowledging that IGN's credibility is taking a major hit due to the mediocre and unfair review of ESPN compared to NBA Live. If the games were reviewed on an equal plane, and by the same person, I'm sure people would be content to read the ESPN was a lesser game. However, as it stands now, the two reviews are so different in terms of content and focus, that it's impossible to judge which is better, because the two reviews are done at totally different ends of the spectrum.

I'll also note that it's cute that you come in here calling "us" immature, and then promptly telling us that we all suck *** and that we shouldn't express our opinions unless they are positive, and that we should buy both games instead of being able to rely on just and valid reviews, which ultimately could result in us saving a few bucks in the long run.

By the way, I'm 22; harder, and smarter, and I'm allowed to stay up way past 9:00 PM. In summary, I rock.

First off some of you guys are complaining way too much, Just end it. Just beacsue that jerk Hillary gave ESPN a review score, and a full read review you don't like, that doesn't mean he is paid off and his review is wrong and etc, ect......Just buy the damn game and judge it for yourself, I'm getting the game today and I'll be my own judge, I won't let what Hillary said effect my desion on the game, he got it he played and thats how he feels, it doesn't mean you guys are gonna feel the same way. Plus some of you guys make me laugh by saying well Hillary wrongs cause he didn't do this and didn't do that, well my freinds he has the game and you don't so he would know a bit more then any of us...right. So chill buy the game and play it yourself and stop worring about what this Jack@ss says about the game.

Oh, and IGN rated the game in the 9's last year, but many say the game was one of the worst of the series...

Maybe their number was too low, who knows....

All I know is having both Live AND ESPN low is something they should have been doing for a while....
