Watch the video closely. You will see that he was backing down Andre Miller but that guy stopped the post move and spun, the spin was way too fast for shaq to do, but at least he missed the shot.

I'm sorry man, but that Shaq video is funny as hell.

And the reason I laughed is because it seems like such patchwork, detective work on IGN's part to display some of this garbage.

Can we tell if it was the CPU controlling Shaq or an actual user because after reading that review and seeing that video , I wouldn't put it past them to control Shaq themselves and do some stupid moves to make it look bad. That's why I kept saying that I never saw ANY of that stuff in Steve's videos.

I do agree with Football Forever though. Last year, IGN was praised as the holy grail when their reviews of 2K4 came out. Everyone on here backed them and called them legit.

The OS mods/reviewers here were damn near crucified after their own reviews came out.

NOW, IGN is lucifer?? Funny. How things change. Save that EA payroll talk though. You know which sites to trust for honest reviews.

Oh and...one more for the road...

In all the previous ESPN reviews I've read at IGN (other sports) they've mentioned the great price helping the rating.. But I don't see mention of the price here (I didn't read the entire review though).

After reading that negative review I'm thinking about cancelling my purchase. I know I'm getting Live but I wanted to try out ESPN NBA for the first time since it's real cheap but I'm having doubts now. The same guy reviewed 2k4 and loved it while people on OS said it sucked. It must be really bad for him to dislike it.

If the issues he brings up are true the game is a coaster in waiting.

Looks like ESPN delivered in Football and Hockey but dropped the ball on Basketball.

I'll sleep on my decision tonight.

The orange player indicator is under Shaq, so they were controlling him.. So you could have a point.

It's interesting that they went to such efforts to find negatives, almost like they have a vendetta against NBA 2K5.

Any idea when OS's review is coming out?

EDIT: I guess that might not be the player indicator, but the replay indicatior. So I stand corrected.. by my self.

its not just that KDRe. its their willingness to try and show everyone VC's bad aspects of the game. Check out NBA live's review.. do you see any videos showing the skating effects and their bugs... hell no... That is all VC is showing... "oh.. its so easy to do this and do that."

im just alittle mad that its not a fair review. Maybe the game is as they wrote it out to be.. and just not very good... but a lot of their complaints, given 20 minutes with sliders, and the problems are semi fixed.

KDRE, whoever watches that Shaq video and doesn't laugh their *** off is taking brand loyalty way too far. That crap was straight comedy. And for them to piece that together makes it even more funnier.

Sorry, but IGN has an agenda.

That's the video that they chose to represent the game??? Straight comedy. I'm gonna save that video and watch it on a day that I'm really depressed.
