Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
With the coaches you have found when you switch them does Kevin Harlan announce their names? If you make Mike Brown the Cavs coach again will he say his name of Scott still? Same thing with Chuck Daily going to the classic pistons, will his name be said?Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
I would go a step further, do the commentators still talk about coach specifics, even if they are no more ? ... or are those comment tied into the coaches, so if they move they get nuled ?Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
Ok. I've actually found the 2k china teams, and all of those hidden teams in here. I just need to figure out what's that hex code for making them editable. I think I saw it somewhere in this thread. Someone made a created player a normal player. Does anyone remember that code. I can maybe find it. I wish I could find the damn street ball players too!Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
nope you can't
I believe he said there were files that you could assign in order to get the names be mentioned, if they were on the original data base that is ... hope not to cause confussion if it isnt.

Some of my pc modding friends told me not do this , saying they found all the hidden face but i am glad i did found lots. how many are really worth wild ? i dont know. But i will try to wrap up in the next few days then i will post the full list a "john doe's" the one i cant tell who they are. I hope guys like portlandblazer and marsh will chime in with there idea's of the face and who they belong too."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
Whoever said I'd say a bad thing about Vlad. He's not the one who turns up his nose on others, says only "friends" can message me, nor is it his fault an editor hasn't come out. Not at all. Hes a good guy actually.
Thats about as nice and friendly as I can be. Its 1% more than whats being shown by a certain little someone in the first place...Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
Appreciate it hookup was able to find when I hexed it but the darn logo shows up on the front of the jerseys. I was using the 80s rockets unis plus the logo you used for your 80s Rockets. Any suggestions?Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
I've been using the Bullets retro jerseys because they look fairly similar.
And for hokupguy, I'm fairly familiar with coaches and assistant coaches. Not sure how many players are "John Doe's" but I can probably set up a comparison chart image for all coaches and assistant coaches to make the identification easier. Assistants move around just as much (if not more than) head coaches in the off-season so it might be important to have a visual comparison.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
for the 7,000,000th time NO! NEW! ART! FILES! FOR! CONSOLE!!!! does this need to be asked every 5 posts? whats on the disc is what you get. this goes for the reditor and via hex editing, if you want to add faces, jerseys, courts that arent already on the disc then you need to buy the pc version of the game.
sorry, not trying to be a jerk, just answering your question in a jerky way.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
Dude just clear this up for you. if anything is on the disc it can be. But anything new is a no go. There are ton's of hidden things on the disc that can be used. You might want to take some time and read threw see you can catch up with things. You seem to be new here and very late to the party. Catch up with the thread and then you can see what you can do.
