    This isn't directed at one person but just wanted to comment after looking through many different roster threads. Can we please try to remember that no one that does rosters/draft classes/accessories etc. are being paid or compensated for the work that they do here. I totally understand people pointing out issues as it is needed because most of these large projects do have mistakes. However, if the individuals that created the project decide to maybe take a little time away from the forums to... I don't know.... maybe spend time with their family or make money at their actual jobs, I would hope that we could MAYBE try to understand that and refrain from making rude or unnecessary comments.

        Could somebody post a list of players that have the Shot Creator, Deadeye or the Ankle Breaker skill? There propably isn't many players who have those sig skills so the list wouldn't be too much trouble and i would really appreciate it. Really like the roster but i have those skills missing from players and the list would help me edit the correct sig skills to players.

              apologies for the delay... extended my vacay a bit... will be on all day tomorrow for questions. also will try to fix minor issues but most tough hex edit issues will not be resolved until RE-ditor comes out so that we can resolve EVERYTHING.

                wanted to know if the run plays glitch was taken into account or did it get patched? not too familiar with the glitch but I've been reading that it reverses the slider.

                Also the Lakers home and away jerseys are the same.

                    Would like an official word from you on your philosophy of making adjustments in-game to the coaching profiles. I don't see why I should be able to take say the Celtics, and make them a fast break team at will, it's not realistic. At first, I thought that we should be able to make adjustments within the range that the team starts off in; for example, The Knicks' defensive pressure is 57 if I'm not mistaking, and the range they are in is from 55-75, so I figured it should be okay to raise their defensive pressure to a max of 75 if that is what's needed. However, again I don't think that should be able to happen at will, because then what's stopping us from raising that to 75 every game? I think there should be a house rule of sorts on that. Maybe like not adjusting more than 2 areas, or not making adjustments until the end of the half or something? I think for the most part, defensive play can be adjusted just by coaching options like lock down paint, constant pressure, etc. Your insight please?

                    Also, are you seeing cpu trades in your Assoc? I'm still in year 1 of mine, just a little over the all star break, and only saw 1 trade. I didn't put too much stock into it, but others have simmed a few seasons and haven't seen any. Is that a trade-off that had to be made for realistic progression, or is that not working as intended?

                      again i'll state that i do NOT buy into the "CPU not running plays" glitch... any issues that you may have been seeing have been tweaked per the slider update that i will be posting tonight.

                      & the Lakers do not have the same home & away jerseys. some teams have multiple "duplicate jerseys" with different colorways schemes &/or shoe/sock combos. etc. Rockets, Knicks, Lakers.

                      well aware of this issue. i will admit that i am the main reason for these players being onthe roster. partly out of oersonal preference... partly because you WILL see many of them in the league NEXT year & because the main purpose of this roster is normally geared towards association longevity; i ,made that call.

                      that being said; there was only one way to get them on a roster using Leftos' tool prior to re-editor. if they have the NBA logo behind them, they are not TECHNICALLY on that team but will take up a roster spot (in some cases making a team over the max) this served as them "retatining that players right IMO. those player are signable or will be atomatically released/deleted once in year 2. for a few of the others like Mirotic, there will be no issue.

                      i acknowledge the issue that this may cause for users wanting to make transactions in year 1 though... but this issue cannot be corrected until re-editor is released or if we remove those players all together which i would not like to do.

                      the other solution would be to put them in FA which is an option in an update.

                      but as many have stated & i want to re-iterate; if you SIGN them in year 1 or release them... they will duplicate. MY APOLOGIES FOLKS. I TAKE FAULT FOR THAT... just thought some would appreciate the methodaoly & possibilty of using those euros.

                      i can't confirm that at all because it was not an issue at all last year & furthermore, i have seen 5 trades in my association. (i am at date Jan 28th... & most of them did not happen until the last 2 weeks.)

                      moral is the main reason for trades IMO and i have tweaked them personally in my association... i made minimal changes to moral in the public file because i didn;t know how people would about me using my "trade rumor mill" foresight... although i was right about Cousins, Maggette, Gay/Randolph & Bargnani lol

                      contracts did not translate over from the roster to the association file for some reason. as someone posted... if you go to that player, open to edit & then save, they will be corrected then. this what i have done in my association.

                      for the players missing the 2nd year, you will have to do the same methodology. their options were removed to make them valid through the raminder of their contracts but didnt carry over so in the menu screen it'll show that they dont have a "next yer/years" contract whenthey actually do. edit, save & it'll show up.
                      the blank sig skills must be some type of glitch that removed them... the blank ones should be the "deadeye" skill for: Kobe, Paul Pierce, Lebron, Durant, Carmelo, Ray Allen & Dirk

                      lotta tedious work i kow but image how much we did for it to work only to find out some of the glitches. this should also be fixable through reditor



                      ALL IN IALL YOU CAN SEE WHY I PREFER NOT TO UPDATE UNTIL RE-EDITOR RELEASES. I CAN OFFER FIXES IF YOU ARE WILLING TO DO A LIL WORK & DONT WANNA WAIT LIKE MYSELF.

                        the coaching profile scale is intended with the sole purpose of giving parameters for a particular play style if there is a coaching change.... a guide if you will; so that the coaching hirings & firings dont TOTALLY skew a teams play style because they heavily impact sim stats & wns/losses.

                        IMO opinion they SHOULD not be changed unless you want to tottaly change the philosophy of a team... like taking the Lkaers from one style to another... this has to be done at your own discretion. or at sometimes maybe in-game to simulate adjustments if you dont use the in-game on they adjustments.

                        they are just parameters Doug. lets say you are the Lakers but the CELTICS fire their coach & get one of the generic guys... the coaches have preset caoching profiles 7 if you were to resign as the Lakers & go to the Celtics & look at the coaching profiles, you would likely want to adjust them using the scales i posted so that their basic playstle doesnt change. the generic coaches have skewed profiles that do not take into account personnel...

                        which leads me to the other reason that you might wanna change profiles. if there are significant roster moves made, you might wanna make an adjustment. like if the Warriors lost their guards & had actual back to basket only players. you'd see their run & gun, outside heavy profile & you'd wanna change it.... thus the scale/guide (IMO the real life Lakers need to be looking at some type of coaching profile changes based on their personnel too... lol)

                        again sir it is all preference to be used at you discretion. if you dont wanna change anything; dont change anything. i personally resign & review coaching profiles everytime their is a coaching change or trade to see if any logical adjustments need to be made.

                                Probably did the contract switcharoo. Take a player that is angry irl, but happy on the game, and lower his role to that of benchwarmer, then going into edit profile and putting his role back to his correct role. He'll retain the anger, but his minutes will stay the same. Can be used the opposite way as well to make a player who is happy with his role irl, but angry at it in the game to behave.
