I slept good after last night lol. I just want to give a shout out to miz for reading every single player profile. I know its a lot of info there so that's some straight dedication to your team and its future! A couple more things....

Dreece posted offline links for version 1 and 2 and the 2kshare file name for version2 on the last page. Sometime today I will post that along with the write up on the first page. I was going to take a few days off but screw it. I'm starting to chip away at draft class 6 later tonight. For those of you on the email list you can expect some info about the next draft sporadically throughout the week.

Last but not least.... We have gotten tons of great feedback on the drafts and videos. How are you guys enjoying the scouting reports? What's your favorite part? How realistic does it feel to you? Any suggestions? Thanks again to everyone that has followed and continued to use the classes.

The scouting reports are awesome. It's hard to say what my favorite part is about the scouting reports because it provides depth that makes ALL the info both valuable and interesting at the same time. Love the storylines that make the fictional players feel real when playing association. If i were to make suggestions i would probably have each player have a player comparison on the report. For example: santonio graham = dwyane wade, chris bishop = michael jordan. It's hard to think of suggestions because it's pretty damn good as it is! But i'm sure you fellas will find ways to continue to improve. I'm excited to see this progress even furher and continue his going into 2k14's association! Haha

I completly agree bjay217 the player comparison would be the only thing I could think of, maybe also add their school's record an tournament finish. Great job with these already though.

Doing the draft class 5 and I've got third pick, was happy I'd get one of the stars... The draft goes Corey williams then Wayne Richardson. How am I supposed to decide who to pick??

EDIT: Speaking of MJ 2.0, he ends up going to the bulls at 7th!

No doubt. I always save before the draft because I've noticed the first pick determines how the draft goes. First time I went with DC5, the Pistons took Corey Williams #1. I had to go again.

Also pay attention to the comments given by players in interviews. Sometimes they are irrelevant but sometimes they drop a subtle hint that could help you make a decision.

And to take this a little farther player comparisons have been in heavy consideration since DC3 so we feel that we can introduce that to the scouting reports starting with DC6. But it's not gonna be a bunch of Kobe and Lebron comparisons over here your gonna have to know a little basketball to fully understand these comparisons Jamal Mashburn anyone???

And I have to give credit where credit is due. That's all Dreece. Anyone who has followed me knows that I used to do the player comparisons a couple of years ago when I just did strengths and weaknesses for the lottery picks. Just doing player comparisons for the lottery picks was tough and time consuming. After talking with Dreece I told him that I didn't know if I would really have the time to do that for all 80 players and he volunteered to take on that responsibility. So kudos to that man!

Dreece has posted the PDF for all of the draft classes several pages back and everyone on the email list has gotten an email of the scouting reports so I think we are all set on that. I will upload to my powerpoint sharing site as well tomorrow just in case. And just to let you guys know, I haven't forgot the write up for class 4 and 5. I am slowly working on it but we put so much in to draft class 5 I just need a couple days away from the writing lol. Not to mention I am six weeks away from getting my masters so I am just making sure I don't fall behind on that as well. I promise it is coming though.

I hope that everyone is enjoying Draft Class 5. For those that are on the email list, you will have some Draft Class 6 info early next week (Who's Going Back to School, Top 5 High School Seniors etc.). If you are not on the email list... what are you waiting for lol. Send me either a PM or an email to [email protected] letting me know that you would like to be on the list. It'll ensure that you get all draft class info (usually much sooner than everyone else). Peace!

Haha you didn't think It would be that easy did you. I give you a quick preview Brandon Lewis(DC1)=Chris Webber. Now that's fine and all but now you have to figure out if it's the Big Bad Wolf CWebb from the Michigan/Warriors/ days or CWebb in his prime in Sacramento or the still highly skilled but physically limited CWebb in his final years in Philly. nice! looking forward to the player comparisons in dc6. and i agree completely on saving the comparisons to the nba's greatest for a select few. there should definitely be role player comparisons such as steve novak and tony allen... and busts like sam bowie, kwame brown, greg oden. and some unique players like someone penny hardaway's size at the point would be cool too. i'd also like to see more interviews of players that aren't only in the draft, but just finishing their rookie year perhaps. and maybe even a few players that grew up together, played high school ball together, more rivalries like dre and bishop... more players that are related... maybe even a new freshman class that make noise michigan fab 5 style.
