Oh for sure Dreece I've picked up some guys around the middle of the second who have become really useful. I think what I meant was when I end with a "sixth man" or a "starter" from the last few picks.

Oh and on another more. These updates are fantastic. Well worth the wait. I've only used dc1 so far but I'm definitely excited to see who else comes my way

I think the NBA’s next mega star has arrived…. To college. Meet Temple’s Freshman Point Guard Whakil Blackshear

Let me just start off by saying that I am a hard person to impress. I hate to be that guy that deems EVERYBODY the next “Guy”. The last player that I truly salivated over was Adam Cameron but this guy right here…. Makes me forget about Adam Cameron. His big brother Devon Blackshear came through and had one of the best college careers in years but I think the little bro has the potential to do even better. I had time to sit down and talk with who I believe will be the next NBA megastar….. Temple freshman Whakil Blackshear.

Sapp: I want to start off with a non-basketball related question... who is Whakil Blackshear other than "Devon Blackshear's brother"?

Blackshear: First off thanks for having me Mr. Sapp. I must say that your interview was the only interview I have been looking forward to. Who is Whakil Blackshear...hmmmm...Whakil Blackshear is a leader, a fighter, and one hell of a ball player!

Sapp: For people that have never watched you play, what kind of basketball player are?

Blackshear: (*smiling*)Well for any of you that got a chance to see my big brother play I guess you can say I'm a carbon copy of him. Great defender, strong, athletic, smart, game changer

Sapp: Your big brother came through Temple and set the world on fire setting all kinds of records. What made you want to follow in his footsteps?

Blackshear: I attended every game and alot of practices when my brother played there man. It was some of the most exciting basketball that I ever witnessed, hearing the name Blackshear echo through the stadium gave me goosebumps every time, the fans and city embraced them like no other college EVER. My city.....my time!!

Sapp: Do you think you can have as good of or a better career than Devon?

Blackshear: (*laughing*)Whooaa see I knew you were going to send one of these type of questions my way.(*Looking into camera*) Devon I love you big bro...you know I respect everything you've done for me, our family, and definitely Philly but........I WILL have a better career than Devon.

Sapp: So let's say everything goes perfect, is there anyway you return to school after one year?

Blackshear: If I'm going to be the best I got to beat the best...Devon only got 1 NCAA Championship.

Sapp: People made a big deal about Adam (Killer Cam) Cameron coming to college. Personally, I think you're easily a better player and will have a hall of fame career. What do you think about Cameron and what other point guards have you enjoyed watching this past three or four years?

Blackshear: I enjoy watching Cam do his thing. At 6'7" being able to run the point that well and defend puts him right at top in my opinion. Detroit Johnson is another one of my favorites, real tough defender. Donovan Robinson is another that comes to mind.

Sapp: Are there any college, NBA or high school players that you would like to play with in the future?

Blackshear: No preference...as long as they understand that I come to win.

Sapp: Give me a prediction of your stat line for this year?

        Blackshear: Honestly? 20p 6r 8a 2st 2bl

Sapp: Thanks for your time. Any last message to your fans out there?

Blackshear: Yup just one. B.B.G holla at me!(*drops mic and walks off)

Speechless... I like the sound of this guy already! I look
Forward to seeing his college career progress. I'll be sending the scouts for opening night haha.

Oh and Dreece thoughts on Hector Garrison I just picked him up with the 15tg pick, but switched him to a full time 3 so he gets more minutes. I'm hoping to have him full Derozans role when his contract expires

Scratch that. I've just had Gallinari go down for the season on opening night with a Torn Achilles. So Hector will be getting the start. ROTY perhaps?

So start of season 3 the raptors are looking like this

              The Forgotten One

With all of the talk about the freshman phenom Whakil Blackshear, it may be easy to forget some of the other spectacular players in the nation. Texas A&M sophomore point guard Ayo Wilson has been deemed by some as the next Rajon Rondo but with a better jump shot. So far, Wilson has been having a spectacular season averaging 16.8 ppg – 6.1 apg – 2.9 spg. Unfortunately, it has been reported that Wilson will be taking a leave of absence for an undetermined amount of time to deal with a family issue. He and Blackshear are probably the two best PGs in the country (although Marquette’s Blake Cassell may have something to say about that) and the two of them are going in opposite directions. One of them is destroying the country on the court and the other one is taking time away. Let’s hope that Wilson can come back quickly and at full force.

              December 14, 2019

Having a little fun with the top players in the nation

We asked this year’s preseason All Americans who their favorite players are that have played their position in the past decade. Their responses are found below.

Guard Blake Cassell – The point guard position has had a few good players throughout the last half decade. I like a lot of them but my favorite is Michigan’s Detroit Johnson. He wasn’t the best scorer but he was an absolutely vicious defender. He only spent one year in college but at 19 he was one of the smarter defenders that I have ever seen up close.

Guard Jimmy Stevens – I play a couple of positions but Sapp has instructed me to lock in to the shooting guard position. If that’s the case, it is Russell Lawson (Georgia Tech) for me and it is no contest. Me and him have become friends after playing over the summer the past two seasons. He has one of the sweetest strokes I have ever seen and is the closest thing that we I have seen t a modern day Ray Allen.

Forward Dylan Turner – I have never got the chance to meet or play against him on the court but my favorite player to watch at the small forward position was Michigan State’s Jaron Richmond. I was a freshman the year he left and I remember having so much respect for his game. He is a spectacular athlete that can score but never took any plays off on the defensive end. If anything, I hope to improve and play perimeter defense as tenaciously as he does.

Forward Christian McLain – Well Mr. Sapp has assigned me the power forward position although I would like to think of myself as a small forward but its cool Sapp (*rolls eyes*). Kareem Bishop (Cincinnati) was an absolute freak of nature. People may not think that he was as good as his big brother Chris Bishop but he was amazing in his own right. How could you not love that guy.

Center Lavelle Thornton – I think everyone knows where I’m going to go with this. Before I made the All American team at Indiana, my great friend Kyrie Haywood (Indiana) did it the year before. He took me under his wing and taught me so much. I really owe a ton of my success to him and I can’t wait to see him in the league soon.

Last year we provided a section dedicated to the underclassmen in high school. This year we decided to move away from that and focus on the guys that will be in college next year. But don’t worry, you will be hearing much more from those guys in the near future.

Your gonna love Garrison. Very strong and has good post moves, not the shooter tha Gallo is but you definitely get alot tougher in the trenches. Yo whats up with my man Bishop not getting any love from DC2. As a matter of fact DC2 is the least downloaded class, but it may be the strongest class overall so far....

I been more of a viewer than someone to post all the time. I feel like you guys heard it all so I'm sure yall will take an occasional thanks & great job from me...but are you kidding me?! I've had a blast with Bishop his presence in the post is mouth dropping. I drafted him along with Donovan Robinson (I got rid of Rondo to take my chances on him) with my revamped Celtics & let's just stay I'm building around him.

Bishop gets drafted #1 or #2 in every association I play but keeps going to teams loaded in the front court. Poor dude. Man DC2 is tough to draft from. Right now I have Garrison and Livingston trading for rookie of the month sitting 1 & 3 on the rookie leaderboard too

@vice I was starting to believe that people wasnt interested in Kareem or DC2 in general...its some real good ones in there. Feel free to stop in and post anytime bro, even if its just to say Bishop had 20 and 10 last game
@Blindside I think DC5 gonna be alot of peoples favorite class. We got some great scorers coming into the league this time around

Apparently I'm in desperate need of offense. Currently ranked 30th in ppg. But I'm on top of the conference so go figure. Makes me not wanna sim any games
