Hey guys I was just catching up on reading what I had missed the last day or so, and I noticed that Dreece gave out some wrong information about the scouting. I do not know about scouting during the year because I leave that to the computer but I do the pre draft workouts myself. You are allowed to run a player through 2 of the pre draft workouts instead of the 1 that he stated before.
And on to the other point I have. I am really looking forward to running my franchise with Adam Cameron 2.0 and Andrew Wiggins!!!! They have been nasty together in the first release.

Yea you slightly misunderstood me. If you scout 4 time during the season they won't let you send anymore scout. During predraft work outs you get 1 more chance to see your guy.

Once you complete any predraft drill you get a scouting note on the player. What I would do if I were you guys I would write down 10 2nd round picks or late 1st and run the 5on5 pre draft drill. You get a scouting report on all 10 guys when you are done. Happy scouting

*NOTE* When I finish with DC2 I will pass it back to Sapp so he can upload. Reasons being I don't wanna release the 1 class then be getting a million messages about the next class being done. Two classes=RESTART ya association while I REVAMP DC3

Oh yea one last thing. I want everybody to take a look at scouting report 2 and give me a couple guys you want to see in the final test after the class is completed. Please not just the top 20 players guys lol. *heading back to revamp DC2*

Thanks buddy. I'm surprised I haven't heard anything about Livingston from many players...but thats gonna change for sure! Here's test game 1. I always run at least 2 OFFICIAL test games before I even think about finalizing a class. Enjoy and still need 19 more guys for the final test.

Blindside you hit it exactly on the nose. We could just provide classes on 2kshare to download. But that's not what its about. Its about the whole experience of a GM. Getting to know players,...we do a highschool list for gods sake. If you don't want to scout for the future your not taking advantage of one of the most compelling parts of being a real NBA GM. Your choice though

I think you and i may have already spoken about this but the simple fact for me personally is that this thread has made the game playable. I had the classes for 2k13 but it was all meaningless without the understanding I've collected via partaking in this years thread

I look at it like this:
Before season 1 starts I look at my upcoming FAs, my aging players, and available FAs for me to sign. Then I come up with a priority list of needs by both position and style of play...For example, I may say I need an outside shooter who can play now and a PF who can score in the post, but has time to develop. Then I read the scouting reports for DC1 probably anywhere from 3 -10 times. I pay special attention to who is coming back and top HS players for next year, and get an idea of positions of depth, but I won't look at DC2 until after season 1. I'm waiting for a position grade for each draft based on players available by position. This could be done a year or 2 in advance and adjusted accordingly as needed. DC1 seems weak in PG compared to say PF.

It's kinda like as a GM you don't know who will be in the 2015 draft right now...heck you don't know who will be in the 2014 draft yet. You kinda do, but not for sure.

Good argument. But its a GAME lol, I'm kidding you tho. Whatever makes the game playable and immersive for you then by all means do that. I'm glad the classes add to your experience
