When we do the draft we try to be scientific lol. But when it comes down to it its only 30 1st round slots...he might not be in the top 30 RIGHT NOW. But we build each draft as if you're going to play 10+ years. In year 4 prospect x might turn out way better than propect y...scout and use common basketball sense and you SHOULD find a ton of useful players.

Oh yea...I can't tell you what's his weaknesses are lol. You guys always want the easy way out

And to be honest UK Wildcat, the "chance of reaching potential ceiling" rating fr Omari is supposed to be 50 percent and not 70. I don't know how I missed that but that's why he's a high second. Although his ceiling is decently high, the likelihood that he will reach that ceiling is not.

Also, his college stats are a result of his ability to score combined with the fact that he and Demarcus Houston were pretty much the only real talent on that Arizona State team. I may have a player that's very good but not as successful in college due to an overabundance of talent on the team or him being a late bloomer. Just trying to make it as realistic as possible my man.

I don't know if anybody else has noticed this but ever since I started manually scouting in game those "projections" actually do change quite a bit. I've seen second rounders move up to first sound projections and so on

Yes they change during the season I guess to simulate the college basketball season that's being while your association is going on. You can scout a player 4 times during regular season/playoffs then an additional 1 during pre draft workouts. Now if you have some decent scouts you should have all the info you need from 5 scouting trips. Just try to make sense of those letter grades and the strength and weaknesses comments. Most people think they are worthless, but after building class after class they are VERY useful if you analyze the info they provide correctly.

Yeah exactly. That was something I noticed with DC6 and Omari in particular. Just thought I'd put it out there incase people hadn't seen it themselves

Drafted 6th by the Bucks(IDK why) He's started a few games, but over the course of what will soon be his 4th season, he's been a role player that has shot ineffectively and has just overall lacked any standout part of his game. IDK if this happens every time, but the dude has just not panned out for Milwaukee.

It happens..but if he was put in a different situation the outcome may be a lil different. He wasn't pegged as a great shooter or scorer, but he's a winner(Final Four MVP). If you looked at the clip reel Porter had a couple of real good moments out there(crossed Dorian Francis at top of key then layed it up strong over Tristan Coles)...Mayber S.P 2.0 turn out a bit different....

It sounds like you know exactly what you need for your team right now bro. Pretty psyched to hear what happens next. I got a lotta love for Tinsley so I'll wait n see what ya do next

I'm taking my chances on this guy call me crazy I never played with this guy before. I'm gonna get some key players to help us get into the playoffs in the FA since I opened up cap room by trading Gasol.

In FA I signed J.J. Hickson who I desperately wanted even though this FA was DEEP with loads of good players but I know how I want my team. Hickson is gonna bring that defense that I need from my big man & his rebounding which helps make up for trading Strickland. I picked up a overseas player Jamon Lucas only to bring more defense from off the bench. Then call me mean but I stole Thaddeus Young from the 76ers (who is superb without him so imagine if he resigned) I only got him for trade bait. I plan on trading him (& CJ Watson who is a waste of space) for either a dominant perimeter defender, an amazing 3pt shooter, or veteran defensive big man. So far things are looking good hopefully we can turns things around & make the playoffs but the West likes to chew & spit out young teams.

As far as Hickson goes I think he's a pretty damn good piece especially in a pick and roll offence.

As far as being young goes I think it's the kinda thing that CPU teams underestimate. I took on the Knicks and blew the roster up turned it extremely young and fast and our transistion game causes nightmares for opponents

I like to run my offense through 3 different ways cause when 1 way doesn't work I can go the other direction. I got Cameron who can score from anywhere on the floor then Francis with his dominant post game & now Tinsley with his offensive repertoire. I added more assistance by trading Thaddeus Young for Lance Stephenson (who was on the Dwight-less Rockets) & traded CJ Watson & Xavier Henry for Ed Davis...I got them surrounded with defense.

That's very interesting I'm running a showtime Lakers type offense so let's see how things turn out. There's still 1 big problem though...Francis is still gonna be out for 2-4 months with that torn MCL :banghead: I wonder how well they're going to do without him for that long.
