Re: The Game Changers NBA 2K14 Fictional Draft Classes by CWSapp757/Dreece for XBOX 3
Oh its no prob man. I got it. The tough part is figuring where to put him at. We go soooo far ahead for story purposes but i might be able to squeeze him in an earlier draft. Either way, I will definitely get him in somewhere. I promise you that.
By the way Melbourne.... isn't Andy Heller your guy? Be on the lookout for him in the next couple of weeks.SimWorld NBA 2K19 Fictional Draft Classes

Re: The Game Changers NBA 2K14 Fictional Draft Classes by CWSapp757/Dreece for XBOX 3
Thanks for all the help.
I thought I'd chime in on the current state of my franchise.
In year 6.
Heres my draft results, with v1:
Draft 1
Argentino Paciani
Jarvis Woodson
Damon Warren
Draft 2
Gregory Livingston
Seth Burgess
Draft 3
Dion Tinsley
Cheikna Dembele
Draft 4
Russel Lawson
Rafeeq Tolliver
DeAndre Daniels
Eddie Butler
Draft 5
Tyrell Carrington
Jeremy Stevens
My current rotation is:
PG: Ty Lawson - 87
Jimmy Stevens - 68
SG: Russel Lawson - 78
Tyrell Carrington - 78
SF: Dion Tinsley - 82
PF: Gregory Livingston - 77
Livo Jean-Charles - 73
Andray Blatche - 73
C: Brook Lopez - 86
Mason Plumlee - 76
Rudy Gobert - 75
Cheikna Dembele - 67
Overall, not bad.
I think I'm going to trade Gobert for a backup SF. Any suggestions on my funky guard rotation? I just couldn't pass up on Carrington at 8.Comment

There probally was a SF of note on the board when you took Carrington. I think you over drafted on guard talent bro...try to keep you roster balanced when you draft to keep it realistic for you association
Keep us posted on your progress.
I want to know how did Tolliver play for you..he's one of my guysLast edited by Dreece; 02-03-2014, 02:15 PM.SimWorld NBA 2K19 Fictional Draft Classes

We always welcome everyone's stories or players but we ask if you would kindly use spoiler tags if you going to talk about ratings....some people haven't gotten that far and it might ruin their surprise or dismay lol.

I thought about picking a back up SF but I choose Carrington because I thought R. Lawson could be a dynamic sixth man.
On Tolliver, he was OK. He wasn't a superstar or anything but he was better than some of the other bench players I had picked in the draft.

SpoilerPaciani, SMHRussell Lawson a 6th man lol. He not trying to be Jamal Crawford lol. And yea Tolliver wasn't meant to be a star but he can do some things good things out there is giving the right opportunity

I'm seeing a lot of Lawson as 6th man. I honestly thought solid starter?Comment

what's going on, I'm new to posting on the thread. I have been following for the last two years. There is no doubt your players really do change the game I give mad props for real. I'm a die hard association player, I just wanted to say what up and y'all can expect to hear more from me.Comment

Hes only a 6th man his first year on mine. Have jimmy butler ahead of him. Lawson can def ball on offense but he has some shortcomings on defense. And Butler is a lockdown guy right now. In a year or two he def will be starting.

I know none of you that comment in the thread feel this way but I still feel it needs to be posted here. Someone messaged me in regards to the draft classes. The overall premise of his message was "I'm picking high in the draft and some of my players aren't even getting better. These classes suck".
I think we all need to be reminded that a high draft pick guarantees you nothing but an opportunity. In the REAL world, players get drafted and stink it up. To be honest, it happens more often than people realize. You know why??? Because it's easy to forget those scrubs. What we are doing here is trying our best to create a REALISTIC draft scenario and realistically everything will not go the way everyone thinks that it will. As a matter of fact I want you guys to look at this players numbers over his first seven years in the league.
Year 1 - 5.5 points, 5.4 rebounds
Year 2 - 3.0 points, 3.0 rebounds
Year 3 - 5.2 points, 3.5 rebounds
Year 4 - 3.7 points, 2.6 rebounds
Year 5 - 4.9 points, 5.0 rebounds
Year 6 - 3.7 points, 2.7 rebounds
Year 7 - 4.7 points, 5.3 rebounds
Who is this you ask? Duke Forward Shelden Williams drafted in 2006. Wanna guess where he went? Number 5 OVERALL. I got another one for you......
Year 1 - 11.8 points, 2.9 rebounds
Year 2 - 4.5 points, 1.6 rebounds
Year 3 - 2.4 points, 1.0 rebounds
You are looking at the numbers for Adam Morrison. Anybody remember where he was drafted..... overall number 3 pick in the same draft.
Guess what.... there are tons of Adams and Sheldens in the world. If you don't like having drafts with Sheldens and Adams, you're better off just using one of those drafts where the top ten players all end up with Hall of Fame ratings. If you wanna roll with the realistic ballers though, embrace the scrubs and take joy in avoiding them. Just my two cents.SimWorld NBA 2K19 Fictional Draft Classes

How about Michael Olowakandi?? How about Dejuan Wagner, How about Korleone Young?? Know who that is?? Probally not. Felipe Lopez, Sam Bowie, Harold Minor...I'm not doin this tonight......
I almost lost my game because on of our so called "scrubs" or non stars decided he wanted to be on TV lol. Anybody remember where we slotted SF Will Lanier at? Mid-1st maybe?Last edited by Dreece; 02-03-2014, 09:29 PM.SimWorld NBA 2K19 Fictional Draft Classes
