also, i know alot of you guys use the magic, and im a little confused why j-rich is such a good rebounder...he's always yanking down the boards when d12 is right next to him

i guess what i really want is the occassional game with a player getting a ton of rebounds

thanks guys! ohh, and thank you greenie!!! thanks for all the hard work, much appreciated
As of now we all know that the O-Rebs problem cannot be solved. Guards catching a lot of rebounds is a glitch that I first discovered when people started putting O-Rebs @ 100 and D-Rebs @ 0 (that's the cause).

At the start of my association I had the same problem. Both teams shooting high % from the field, lots of turnovers and steals and the total rebounds number falling down. Now I'm 9 games into association and things start to settle down. Teams shoot worse (tired?) and rebounds have gone up. I'm still averaging 38 RPG but numbers are going up.

Be patient and see what happens in a 10 games span.

I've been using A&S's slider set, but am thinking of trying these out for a bit until he comes up with his new All-Star set.

Hey cesco, I've got about another 3 games to go for a 15 test span when it comes to the rebounding. I think I'll take a look at the stats after that and see how they are looking. If it aint good, I think I'll drop all shooting down one notch for both cpu/hum sliders......and then see how that goes.....what you reckon?

Go for the 15 games span. I'm at 9 but numbers are coming out good, so I think I won't touch the shooting sliders. Since steals are a bit high and fouls committed by CPU are way more than mine, I touched the Hands and Shooting Foul sliders a bit. This will create more shooting opportunities and hopefully more rebounds. So far 38 RPG and going up. Last game (finished in 1st OT) I grabbed 51!

I have come to the conclusion that these sliders are just not for me. I'm getting blown out by bad teams and I turn the ball over almost every other play with horrible passes that sail over the players head even though he's only 5 feet away. The cpu is just ridiculous on all star.

                I've played 10 games with Orlando and I'm 7-3.

                Here are my stats:

                ORL - CPU

                103,1 - PPG - 96,6
                36 - FGM - 38
                73 - FGA - 80
                48,6 - FG% - 47,2
                9 - 3PTM - 5
                20 - 3PTA - 15
                42,4 - 3PT% - 34,1
                23 - FTM - 15
                33 - FTA - 20
                69,2 - FT% - 76,3
                18,6 - AS - 22,6
                13,7 - T/O - 13,1
                13,1 - FOULS - 21,1
                38,0 - REBS - 38,2
                5,8 - OREBS - 5,3
                9,1 - STEALS - 9,6
                5,8 - BLOCKS - 3,5
                43,2 - PAINT - 43,4
                26,0 - BENCH - 30,2
                5,3 - 2ND CH - 5,4
                4,2 - FAST BR - 8,1

I've already adjusted for stats that are a bit off and in two games steals are going down a bit and rebounds up. Did some corrections for difference in FTA with good results.

So far so good. Every game is a challenge but 7-3 is just fine (and real) for Orlando. Game 9 lost Turkoglu for 2-4 weeks. Game 10 J-Rich got hurt. Bass is a beast on rebounds and stealing some scene from Howard.

                    Really small ones:

Hands 81/79 (if T/O go down too much I'll raise them by 1)
Shooting Foul Frequency: 63/61 (trying 64/60 next game)

Cesco, I think you are adjusting fouls in reverse. The Shooting Fouls slider adjusts how many fouls are called for each respective side, not against. So, if you would like to see more fouls called on your team (sending the CPU to the line), you need to raise the CPU shooting fouls slider. I.e. instead of 64/60 you would want 60/64 (HUM/CPU). This would result in the CPU going to the line more often and you less often.

Your stats look great, btw. I'm glad the sliders are finally working out for you.

Otherwise, it's official, I've sold the game. It's up to all of you now.

Hello man! Have you really sold the game? Naaaaa :-) Don't leave us alone!!

Are you sure about the sliders? I played a game with 64/60 and the game finished with 31 FTA per team. So now I was thinking of going down to 62/58. I always thought it was the opposite. We'll see next game.

Yeah stats are good and the gameplay is fine. I'm losing games at the FT line lately! My team is shooting around 60% from the line, I'm a bit worried. I lost my last game against the Grizzlies 105-99, they attacked the paint like wild beasts!

I tried these sliders last night on 5min quarters just to get a feel how the game would play, and right away I noticed there's no balance between made shots and shots missed, especially with cpu because the rim must have looked like the ocean. I played with Knicks vs Hawks and was draining 3's from everywhere on the court with Felton. I know the Knicks are good 3 point shooting team but I went 9 for 15 behind the arc... that's crazy! I'll give these another try maybe on 10min quarters and see what happens.
