More than anything else, this situation has made me realize that I'm playing a game with a bunch of children...
I've never heard so much nonsensical/nonlogical complaining.. and it's coming from both sides.
If I wanted this, I'd find a political board. Can't wait for the "IM DONE FOREVER, POOR ME" Posts no matter which way this goes.
You realize the only way anyone is effected is in seasons... and this could be easily fixed by not having one batch of seasons for Star tier. All other modes you are paired with like-leveled decks.
If you didnt get the cards, I'm sorry, hopefully they do another round of freebies.
If you did get the cards, don't act like you're better than those that didn't because you were lucky. That's it.
It's amazing the true colors you see when people realize they did/didn't get something others did.
I havent posted much about the subject other than to say they need to respind and fix this. However, I've spent well over $500 on this years app and COUNTLESS hours of tapping. So if people are irate about this situation I understand. All of the work put in by people was undone by a one hour mistake made by the developers of the game. We pay them in good faith that we're going to have a level playing field through out the entire life of the app. And the fact that their has been nothing but silence from CD is just a slap in the face because it proves once again that their appreciation for their customers is non existant.
NBA Basketball, College Football, Work, Sleep, Repeat..

Trust me, I get it... I've at least spent that much.
I just dont see how people can go irate and whine and complain for days on end about something that they know will most likely be dealt with.
people were actually calling for users to be banned! How incredibly think headed (or juvenile) must you be?
1. if you want to win games you have to play with your lineup anyways. 2 Star Pros, 1 star and some fillers should get you wins regardless of AS.
If you have seen otherwise, tinker with your lineup.
2. Of course they have better chance at RC/RTTC, but it does not change YOUR chances. like i said, hopefully if you missed out you get another chance.
3. Of course spenders aren't happy, and I'm sure CD isn't happy, but it happened. Life's not fair, games don't have to be fair. I'm sure someone lost a job over this, and to say this has severely effected your life is just crazy.
I just don't understand the immaturity of 90% of posters over the last few days with ultimatums and sour grapes.
If they have a better chance at RC, obviously that does effect other users (although having better cards don't necessary result in better chances, so I assume you misspoke on the RC part)
If more people are able to complete RTTC, that has a cascading effect on other users from current seasons to seasons in PO tier.
Not sure where I or anyone else said this is severely effecting anyone's life. It is game breaking to be sure (I don't see how anyone could argue that massive flooding of high value card to a subsection of users doesn't throw the competitive balance out of whack).
If this isn't fixed, users have said they will stop playing or paying. Why is that immature or sour grapes? The game went from rewarding spenders and grinders to giving a huge leg up to a random group of people while destroying the season mode for non-glitch users. The fundamentals of the game has been altered. Does it severely effect real life? No. Does it severely effect the game? Sure. If people want to stop playing or paying because of that, I don't see why that is immature or unreasonable.
Cedric - I agree with you. Seasons would be nearly impossible to compete in, which is why they would have to make the matchmaking more like the lower tiers where they don't lump all star tier players into seasons regardless of deck strength. I think this should have been something they fixed even before this.
If they fixed this, and you could get RS AS and HOF cards, I don't see it as a huge deal. By the end of Legendary tier, I had all MVP and up cards anyways, and last year I started playing in late March and caught up to top players in a few months.
I started a season today & I am currently 28-0. AS glitch clearly has no effect on the game at all.
Spoiler
Obvious sarcasm, but I do believe this getting blown out of proportion. AS is one of the weakest sub tiers, barely better than normal stars.
Quick Game LU:
PG: UR Pro Cory Joseph
SG: Foil UR Pro Patrick McCaw
SF: Foil Ep. Prime Pro Harrison Barnes
PF: UR Pro Trevor Booker
C: Foil Epic Pau Gasol
"Took advantage of" is definitely some passive aggressive phrasing, though.
Not really. There are some who opened one or two packs, and they are not really classified as "took advantage of". But in QG you see TONS of teams who have less than 100 games, some less than 10, who are Star++. They had to of taken advantage to get that many stars to pro to the point where their lineup is so strong, considering the drop rates of stars versus epics and legendaries. Some abused it, some did not, and some missed out. But anyone who saw it was free had to have known it was an error, especially considering the unlimited nature when CD has a tendency to limit everything that could give anyone an advantage.
