Hey GT, they better - I spent $75 on two packs on sale for 35% off the day before the free packs appeared... And of course I didn't get a single Star.

You can bet your *** I'll be getting a refund on that if nothing is done. I'll send a refund request every day for the rest of my life if I have to.

Caught me lurking lol. Everything's going good. Been reading the forum the past could days after hearing of "The Packening". Crazy. Can't believe CD has not said anything yet. Glad I'm no longer playing.

My new mobile game is Madden Mobile, I've been playing that a lot.

More than anything else, this situation has made me realize that I'm playing a game with a bunch of children...

I've never heard so much nonsensical/nonlogical complaining.. and it's coming from both sides.

If I wanted this, I'd find a political board. Can't wait for the "IM DONE FOREVER, POOR ME" Posts no matter which way this goes.

You realize the only way anyone is effected is in seasons... and this could be easily fixed by not having one batch of seasons for Star tier. All other modes you are paired with like-leveled decks.

If you didnt get the cards, I'm sorry, hopefully they do another round of freebies.

If you did get the cards, don't act like you're better than those that didn't because you were lucky. That's it.

It's amazing the true colors you see when people realize they did/didn't get something others did.

Nope, I'm not back. I'm done with mynba. With the current events surrounding the game and its creators, I'm glad I wasn't playing.

Who knows though, I might come out of my retirement for mynba2k17.....

Users are also effected for RC/QG as many saw first hand. To the extent that people have an easier path to RTTC, non-glitchers have been effected that way as well.

Improved match making would certainly be a viable fix, but obviously CD has not commented one way or the other.

Spenders obviously do not appreciate having cards given away for free when they paid money them. Precisely the reason why many major retailers have price protection guarantee.

Grinder's efforts have been usurped in one fell swoop by people who were lucky. It is game breaking. Also legitimate beef I would say.

Matt, I think this is a little unfair. Aside from a few posters frothing at the mouth, most people's reasoning have been valid on both sides of the debate.

As someone who didn't get any free AS cards, I'm worried for my ability to compete in both star tier, and PO tier, especially with how thinly the rewards are distributed currently.

If I can't have a reasonable chance to get the top tier cards of season rewards because AS glitchers continue to win seasons and strengthen their decks now, then what is left in the game for me? Apart from events which won't be exclusive to the non-glitchers. The snowball keeps rolling, keeps getting bigger.

Prior to this, it was only paid players, a minimal percentage of the playerbase, that had this kind of knock-on effect and if you were placed into a season with them, you just chalked it up to bad luck. That is no longer the case.

That's what worries me. When I say I'm going to walk away, it's not because I'm writing a woe-is-me post and trying to draw attention to myself; it's because if I'm going to be matchmade into impossible to win seasons, then what's the point in sticking with the game?

At that point, there is little incentive. I don't begrudge anybody their free AS packs, but I'd rather not play on a field that is imbalanced to this degree.

1. if you want to win games you have to play with your lineup anyways. 2 Star Pros, 1 star and some fillers should get you wins regardless of AS.

If you have seen otherwise, tinker with your lineup.

2. Of course they have better chance at RC/RTTC, but it does not change YOUR chances. like i said, hopefully if you missed out you get another chance.

3. Of course spenders aren't happy, and I'm sure CD isn't happy, but it happened. Life's not fair, games don't have to be fair. I'm sure someone lost a job over this, and to say this has severely effected your life is just crazy.


I just don't understand the immaturity of 90% of posters over the last few days with ultimatums and sour grapes.

Cedric - I agree with you. Seasons would be nearly impossible to compete in, which is why they would have to make the matchmaking more like the lower tiers where they don't lump all star tier players into seasons regardless of deck strength. I think this should have been something they fixed even before this.

If they fixed this, and you could get RS AS and HOF cards, I don't see it as a huge deal. By the end of Legendary tier, I had all MVP and up cards anyways, and last year I started playing in late March and caught up to top players in a few months.
